Consultation and site survey

So far we are very pleased with the people we have dealt with on our journey to Solar. Sarena P has done a great job presenting our plan and what we can expect going forward. Steve came out to do the site survey and was very pleasent mindful of our property. We can't wait for Sarena to come back with the plans after the site survey so we can get our solar panels installed.

Exceptional service

Luis, Heba and Valentina have been such a pleasure to work with. They were thorough and transparent with the entire process. From the moment they were referred to me, to the moment the system was installed. But my favorite part of all, has been not having to pay Eversource a single penny! We were referred to Ellen directly and the responsiveness and ease we had in getting information and signing up to receive solar was very easy. She followed the process to completion by coming by to congratulate us and check in today during install. The install crew was quick and efficient. The process was pretty painless!

GONE SOLAR

Going solar was so painless and easy. From the first meeting with Ellen Eichelser you were made to feel important. Any time I had a question it was answered immediately. The install team Justin, Stanley, Anthony, John and Andy were simply amazing. They worked with me on every part of the install. I wanted the system to mostly hidden and they worked to perfection to make that happen. That isn't even what they should be credited for, my house is in the sun the entire day. These guys were working through 95 degree days on a hot roof, and not once did they complain. The install looks amazing. Thank you Team Summit for all of our hard work!!

Excellent and Fast Service

Summit Energy was great to work with. From Molly our sales coordinator, to Jack, our installation foreman, and Stacy our project manager. Everyone was very professional, courteous, and great at communicating. We were able to get our solar panels installed and operational in just six weeks!

So Psyched to Have Solar

We had thought about getting solar energy for a long time. When we approached by Rick from Summit, everything fell into place. Rick explained everything making it super easy to understand and get on board. The subcontracted crew that fixed the roof did it in one day, were super professional and cleaned up really well after themselves. The crew that installed the panels were just as competent and thorough. We are super excited to finally have solar energy and to have partnered with such a great company that puts customer service at the top of their list of priorities!

Good start to a relationship

Talked with Nate to set up the consult with Chad. I’m a very straightforward person and was happy to see it wasn’t off-putting to either one. Nate was accommodating and easy to set up an appointment. Chad was personable and very forthcoming. I appreciated his knowledge and diving deep into the aspects that mattered to me most (technology, customer support and financing options). I’m still shopping around for solar, so if I don’t go with Summit, I’d still recommend to friends that they call Summit as they were a pleasure to talk to compared to other sales reps I’ve experienced.

Everyone who want to work with them for a long term, be aware of their contract before signing. Before signing I confirmed again and again with sale person Chad Raymond that i only have to pay 85.01 monthly fixed rate for 25 years. With that confirmation, i believed that i would make payment same price at no changes within 25 years. However, they charged me for $146.69. When i talk to them about the bills, the agent from solar company told me that they charged base on the production, it mean if the system produce more, i have to pay more and if the production can't produce any kwh, i still have to pay 85.01 minimum. At that point, what does 85.01 dollars represent for? So why at the beginning there was nobody told me about if the system produce more than than the kwh, i have to pay more, nobody mentioned the system will be produce more than 5000kwh and the price would be gone up larger than $85. I contacted to them too many times and there was no resolution for my situation. It ends up like that

Responsiveness

We're a non-profit who obtained a grant to install solar panels on the property. Tom Emero was our lead consultant and Siddarth Temburni was our lead engineer. Our project was installed without a hitch and the subsequent paperwork that I needed to submit for grant reimbursement was all supplied within an incredibly timely manner. They were both a pleasure to work with!

Haverhill

A representative from the Summit company Tyler started my interest in installing a solar system. He worked tirelessly answering my questions about the solar system and all possible options benefiting my needs and budget. I also did research about solar installation and check number of other companies for comparison and possible differences. After all I choose the Summit solar as the best of all my choices. Tyler was my source for information about multiple issues related to choosing best option for solar panels and overall quality. Upon final agreement the Summit team worked perfectly with installation 7.2 kW solar and getting approval to start my electricity. It was quick and no worry, two months from signing contract to startup operation in October 2021. The Summit team was great and knowledgeable in every aspect of installing the solar system. From my experience I highly recommend the Summit Solar Company. At present I enjoy having free electricity producing by the solar panels and as heating oil prices are high, I use electric power to keep house warm during the colder days.

No response. Too big too soon

Put 3 systems on our buildings. We noticed (by comparing) one system wasn’t producing like it should. Figured out that it was down 33% for 17 months. They offered nothing as they “monitor” quarterly. Their response was it was producing so technically it was working. After repeated calls. Found out 15 panels were disconnected. Because we had something to compare it to, WE figured it out. Lost smart credits. Lost energy. Now we are waiting on a solution to 3g dissolution so we can’t monitor one of the systems because of this. We are waiting for them to get back to us. This has been since Feb 2022. They seemed great at first but their lack of response is gross. When we called about who monitors the reception said no one is monitoring right now as they are looking to hire someone. So disappointing. “I’ll make sure someone calls you by the end of the week”. File that with the February email. Wish I could get recourse or maybe someone to actually monitor correctly and return phone calls. Too big too fast. Go elsewhere!

Phenomenal experience

Working with Summit was incredibly easy. We worked directly with Tyler throughout the process and he kept us constantly aware of our progress throughout the process. From initial contact to installation and activation within 3 months. The install team was incredible as well. They said they would show up at 8am and showed up at exactly 8am ready to go. The entire system (18 panels) was installed by 12pm. They worked like a well-oiled machine. The entire experience was phenomenal.
