Southern View Energy

I had been researching solar for a while and finally chose this company because they didn’t overcomplicate things. They explained the system in simple terms and showed how it would fit my actual energy usage. The installation process went smoothly overall, though one part had to be rescheduled due to equipment availability. They handled it professionally and communicated clearly. After installation, they took time to explain how to track performance. It’s been a few months now, and I’m already seeing lower electricity bills compared to before.

I am extremely pleased with my system from Southern View Energy. The installation was ahead of schedule, very professional and the cost was fair with no surprises. The support since the installation has been great. My primary reason for solar was to save money and to have a viable off-grid option (paired with my generator) should it be necessary. My cost savings so far have exceeded the estimates by Southern View Energy, which was a pleasant surprise. I highly recommend this company for solar!

I highly recommend Southern View Energy. After dealing with other solar companies working with this company was a true ray of sunshine! They did an excellent job and were super easy to work with. I got a professional instillation that is error free. They also support their customers after the work is complete.

I called Southern View Energy on Monday, 1/30/23 to see if they could install a Tesla Wall Connector. Amy was anxious to help and within 30 minutes I received a call from Al. We talked through the details and to my surprise, agreed on Tuesday installation. The following day, Bill and Chris arrived and did a fantastic job installing the Tesla Wall Connector. Jacque handled the billing quickly and accurately. Every team member involved from start to finish was professional and courteous. I highly recommend SVE for all your electrical needs.

Great experience from the planning options to choose from to the instillation. We decided on a ground mount in the back yard and so far are getting great generation. The instillation team did a fantastic job of mounting the panels and wiring the house and took good care of our home. I wound recommend this company if you are in the market for a solar instillation

Warranty Service Response Time

It has nearly been a year since we identified problems with our solar system which was installed almost 3 years ago! Almost brand new and a year into Solar one charge controller of 3 and the main interface pad have died! Scott Earp has been aware since the beginning and has still not repaired or replaced the faulty parts, In spite of promising to get it done over and over! I have asked and asked and asked, called and called and called and still nothing! To add insult to Injury I helped turn a neighbor to add more Solar with Southern Energy View last Summer and figured when Scott or his guys were installing that 8kW and a 10kWh Battery(I believe) and driving right past my house they would stop in for an hour or less and make the repair! Of course I was calling and texting Scott about just that to make sure he didn’t forget! Well he did and still here are are almost 5 months later still waiting for what must be a simple repair! I decided to write this and add one to the BBB too to get his attention and get it fixed! Our solar production looks to have dropped in half or more from Jackson EMCs bills! Who will repay is for that lost Solar I wonder?

The whole enchilada!

Chris was our main contact and expert! We met with 3 other companies and quoted, by far, Southern View had the most expertise, answered many/all questions, and gave us the price for the whole system, ground mount, optimizers, Inverter 6.6 KW and went over our landscape plan and gave us a very competitive price! System is almost 4 years old and has had only one small problem. An optimized failed, was very quickly replaced and all is well, under my warranty. No charge! I get the panels washed twice a year, and they due an outstanding job at cleaning and checking over the system each time! I cannot recommend them any higher! Delivered on time, professionally installed, the crew was very attentive to wires, conduit, and wire chases and even the Ga Power inspector was impressed! I live near Atlanta, if any potential client would like to visit my site, tell Chris and we would be happy to show you around. Most importantly, everything they promised came out exactly like planned and I am a very anal person when it comes to big house projects!! With Federal tax deductions, power generated and sold, and reduction in over all power bill, I Should be breaking even in early 2020!!

Solar panels

We had a great experience from start to finish with them. They were honest about what was best for our home and budget. They were also quick to respond to questions/etc. We highly recommend them. A year and a half later everything continues to work great.

Great Experience

Every step of the process with Southern View Energy, from the initial sales consultation through the installation of our solar panels was a great experience, and the quality of their work was excellent. I highly recommend them.

Totally satisfied

Southern View was everything we needed for our solar project. Chris came out as soon as we contacted him, helped us figure out sighting for the installation and worked up a quote. The installers came out and did a great job over a couple of days getting us up and ready to go. We had to wait until an addition to the house was finished before the inverter was installed and activated, but as soon as we called and said we were ready, Southern View came right out and got us going. Chris was available the whole time to answer all our questions. We've been running on the solar panels with a grid hookup for more than a year now, and we've seen a half to two thirds reduction in out electric bill over what we were paying before even though we converted our whole HVAC system and water heaters from gas to electric. We are totally satisfied with our investment.

Executive Director of the Cumbee Center to Assist Abused Persons

The solar panels at our shelter for domestic violence victims saves us almost $400 each month which allows us to spend more money on victim services. We are very pleased with the solar panels and with the personable employees who installed them!

Southern View Energy - PV Installation Review

Southern View Energy did an outstanding job on the solar panel installation on my home. From the beginning, their experts helped me with understanding size (total kWatts) and placement of the panels on my home and how the optimization would be achieved. There were no surprises. The installation was rapid and on schedule. The crew that did the installation was extremely knowledgable. I've had the panels on my home for 9 months now, and the performance of the system is EXACTLY as expected. Thank you Southern View Energy! They get my TOP RATING.

Great Company

After reviewing several Solar companies proposals I decided to go with SouthernView Energy. Their commitment to customer service has been excellent. They have a two year warranty on all of their work. I would gladly recommend them to anyone wanting a top notch company who stands behind their work.

Solar power is the right choice!

Chris was wonderful and extremely professional. He answered all our questions. The initial consultation was great he gave us information on how to save money on our older home. With the solar panels and the insulation work we have cut our power bill in 1/2 already. I have recommended Southern View Energy to all my friends and family interested in solar.

The Right Choice

Chris completely answered any questions we had and the work was done as promised and on time. Every employee was very knowledgeable and professional. Would not hesitate to recommend Southern View Energy. And, we love our solar system. We've already used it twice since the installation (within 3 months).

Quick install, very knowledgable

I pinged a few companies and was most impressed with the accuracy and consistency of this group. The installation itself was painless despite them even having to coordinate the move of a few rooftop vents. I'll be using them again when I expand my panel count (after putting a structure over the side patio).

If you are considering solar panels, Just do IT!!!

Chis and his team were fantastic - the solar panels were installed the week that worked the best for us, completing installation and inspection in the quoted time frame and even helped us with getting our first rebate back from the electric company. Very professional and would recommend this company to anyone.

Great company, very professional

We researched and interviewed all the solar companies in our area before making a decision on which company to go with. We found Southern View Energy to be the best. The were very straight forward, honest and really listened to what we wanted in our solar system. One company tried to sell us a system that was totally inappropriate for what we needed which would have caused major problems down the road when we wanted to expand. There are a lot out there that will steer you wrong but Southern View Energy is not one of them.

Pleased in Gainesville GA

Our solar system was installed the middle of September, 2013. We were very pleased with the company representative, Chris, and the two installation technicians, David and Urban. They were responsive to our questions and did a great job. The installation process was quick and tidy. We enjoy watching our meter run backwards! Thanks, guys, you did a great job for us!

Great product and a great company

I had a great experience with Southern View Energy. Chris my sales person was knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process. David and his install team also did an excellent job. Their attention to details was great. I would highly recommend this company.
