Solar Services Inc. (Out Of business)

The Solar Services team has consistently delivered excellent service and advice starting with the installation of our rooftop panels and then in repair and upkeep. They are knowledgeable and personable - a joy to work with. I couldn't recommend them more highly.

Amazing customer service and support! Hands down best company I have ever had the pleasure of welcoming into my home. Extremely knowledgeable, on time, and flawless work while also being fast and efficient! Will be reaching out again to have more work done in the future without a doubt, and will be referring others as well!

The entire whole-house solar installation experience with Solar Services was seamless and excellent from start to finish. Will, Anthony (sorry if I got your name wrong!) and the front office staff kept us informed and updated every step of the way, and Thomas and his engineering crew completed the site visit and installation on schedule and without a hitch. The permitting and final approvals to connect to the grid, all handled by Solar Services, went much quicker than I expected, a pleasant surprise. Our system has been online for a couple of weeks now, works as advertised and is saving us a ton on our electric bill! I highly recommend Solar Services to anyone considering going solar (and highly recommend going solar to anyone).

Recently switched to Solar Services for our solar services. Another solar company couldn’t figure out the issue with our panels, and chalked it up to critter damage and wanted to charge us a lot of money to fix. Tom with Solar services figured out the real issue within a few mins (another bad optimizer) and we are back up and running! It was very easy to get an appointment scheduled, and they even fit us in that same day. When you call or email, they answer/reply back. It is refreshing from other experiences!

Solar Services updated our inverter & batteries. The new Eg4 inverter & Lux Power lithium ion battery system is more capable than our previous system by orders of magnitude. The realtime displays remove any guesswork from deciphering how much solar you're producing, and what the house is consuming at any given time. Solar Services maintained good communication, workers were professional and highly focused. The biggest selling point to me was that Solar Services was great about ensuring I had a solid working knowledge of exactly how the system operates. In the past, other local solar contractors installed panels & inverters that did not meet expectation, failed to explain system operation, did not supply user manuals (installer's manuals & schematics are of little use to the homeowner) and did not respond to requests to explain system operation. Solar Services did a great job of all that, and be warned, some of these local solar installers Do Not. Solar Services are there for the install, and will be there for technical support. Some outfits effectively disappear after the check is cashed and you are left on completely on your own. Be aware of that.

Solar install

We had Solar Services give us the only quote we could get in our area, and they came in where we expected price-wise. After working out the installation plans with our HOA (and buying more expensive panels to make the HOA happy), we were ready to begin. And then it rained. And rained. But finally we got our panels installed and inspected, and were able to turn it on yesterday! Solar Services was just an email or phone call away the whole process, and even came out to talk to the HOA and answer questions about the aesthetics of the system, potential problems, etc. Will and Matt are some of the nicest guys possible as the sales team. The two "4 star" review sections below are because we were originally going to get a 24-panel system, but when we upgraded to all black Solaria panels, they wouldn't fit on our roof 8-across. It took until after we had already paid the deposit for them to notice, so we dropped from the 8.6kW system we expected to 7.5. Scheduling the install was another sticking point, but mostly not their fault. There was a ton of rain and they had to find a time that was sunny that still meshed with other installs. They were transparent about the process, but it still took longer than I would have liked. Overall though, I would recommend them to anyone in the area interested in producing their own energy and getting away from coal or gas power plants!

My husband and I, a few years back had a pool solar system installed by Solar Services, we loved it so much, that when we were ready to dive into a full house solar system, we knew who to call. To get my husband on board I had another company come and give us an estimate. Knowing that a second estimate would be what my husband would want, I got the company that I was going to use for my second estimate to come out first. After that my husband wanted the company that did our pool solar system, to give us an estimate. I just knew that Solar Services would come in with a better price and we were already hooked on the clean, efficient and quick install that they had done in the past. So here we were with two estimates and as I knew it would be, Solar Services came in with a price that was the same equipment and I asked for the same equipment for a better comparison of numbers, they were 1/3 the price of the other company. I never thought that it would be that much difference and we couldn't be happier. Their people are great from the estimate to the final end and the four man crew that they sent to do the install, worked like a well oiled machine, even in over 100 degree heat on the roof and all of the ground work of trenching to the house to the final wiring. They did 40 panels over a 1/4 acre wiring distance, from build to build in 3 days. The guys were so nice and explained everything about the install and system. We thank all of the people at Solar Services for two great solar jobs done. Thanks so much CSK

Solar Pool useable more months

It takes a lot to heat a pool in the spring and fall! I probably get one more month on each end of the season. But what is really cool, literally, is the cooling effect by running the system at night instead of during the day, in the hottest summer months. Bottom line - I can regulate the temperature of the pool from May 1 through Oct 15. The electronic solar control is crucial to have. Solar services installed the whole system in two days, retrofitting my existing circulation/filter system efficiently and effectively. They are very customer oriented, and professional

This company is top notch

They have provided pool pump repair services to me twice and each time I was thrilled with the results. They are a top notch company and I would recommend them to anyone.

Exceeded expectations

Exceeded our expectations on a pool solar water heater. Nice installation, great product, at a fair price.

It was the best investment that we made for our pool. Thanks!

I would absolutely recommend Solar Services to anyone interested in the highest level of experience and professionalism in the solar industry. They showed knowledge of the product, sureness of installation, and most importantly, respect for my house.

Solar Services were excellent on this project I am very conscious of the solar energy needs of the country. I made my choice and as we get into summer I am running my house in 09 spring at 1/3 of the cost I paid in previous years

Solar Services Inc was professional, prompt and knowledgable

Mr. Holmes did an outstanding job. He should receive a raise, company car, and a perctange of the company.

They did a spectacular job and the crew was super freindly and they even cleaned up after themselves.
