Worst Customer Service EVER!!!

I would like to rate with negative stars. They installed my system in February and were supposed to come change my inverter and here we are end of August and they never did. Would leave messages to who I think is the owner and they never call back. Now I go to test the outlet in preparation of the hurricane and turns out they never installed it. The whole sales pitch of having power during the day with these outlets serves me no purpose now that I may need it with this upcoming hurricane. Have not and would not recommend them to anyone!!!

I have been a Solar Ray customer for over 4 years with a 10K system. Michael Brown and his staff are awesome. Their service department is quick to respond and resolve any issues. These guys are the best.

I became aware of Solar-Ray through a recommendation from a good friend. David and the entire team at Solar-Ray was patient and answered many questions as i reviewed multiple solar options in making the decision to proceed with Solar-Ray for the installation. i highly recommend Solar-Ray for your Solar Design and installation needs! In the end, it was an easy decision that I look back on and know i got right for the following reasons. 1) Solar-Ray was not only the most professional team to provide an estimate but they also beat the competition by 15-20%. They also returned several phone calls promptly and professionally with all the follow up questions that i had in making this big decision. 2) 30% Government Rebate available. 3) Finance options available with No/low interest over 10 years (no early payoff fees). 4) Reduction of electric bill exceeded the financed monthly solar payment resulting in a net reduction of my monthly budget. 5) Having a solar energy enabled home will be a real differentiator that increases the value of my home when it is time to sell. Exceptional Experience and Price

I met with several companies and spent hours doing my own research on residential solar PV systems. When I met with Solar-Ray's field representative Mustafa, I was highly impressed with his knowledge of the technology, the market, and the competition. Mustafa patiently answered all of my questions and provided information regarding solar technology that other companies conveniently left out of their pitch's. Most importantly, Solar-Ray did not try to sell me unnecessary equipment such as micro-inverters or optimizers that add substantial cost, increase likelihood of malfunction, and offer little or no benefit unless you are installing in a partially shaded location. Of all the companies I met, Solar-Ray was the only one that didn't make me feel like I was buying a used car. I originally called Solar-Ray because after meeting with several other companies, I felt that they were not giving me the whole story. Additionally, I had grown skeptical of solar power's inability to function when the traditional grid is down (due to net metering). I read several online reviews about Solar-Ray that led me to believe they trustworthy and one review mentioned the Sunny Boy inverters that allow you to access limited power when the grid is down even when net metering. After meeting with Mustafa and discussing the Sunny Boy option, I decided to move forward with Solar-Ray. My 11.87kW PV system was installed in about 3 weeks and was fully operational in about a month. This is much faster than other companies estimated. I system appears to be producing better than expected. Now, I am just excited to see my first electric bill! It seems too good to be true, but I am completely satisfied with my experience with Solar-Ray. They installed faster than any other company. The system is operating better than expected. Their price was more than 15% lower than the closest competitor I met.

Outstanding Service and Prices

I heard about Solar-Ray through a good friend who had his system installed 3 years ago. He spoke so highly of them that I decided to call and I’m so glad I did! When I called Solar-Ray I had pretty much decided against solar energy because of the quotes I had received from 2 other companies. After speaking with Mike Brown on the phone, I thought it was worth meeting with one of his salespeople to learn more. From our first meeting with Mustafa Subasi to the completion of the job it has been nothing less than top-notch! The professionalism and customer service the entire company (office staff, installers and Carl Weirich) provided us is outstanding. The installation was completed ahead of the time frame given and without any issues. My husband and I can’t be happier. We highly recommend Solar-Ray to anyone that may be considering solar.

Best impeccable service

We installed our system in March and we just receive the bill of $3.67 after paying with the extra energy $17,86 garbage service, $8.63 Storm water Charge and $11.60 taxes. incredible system and incredible Team. Dennis the sales person was very knowledgeable, professional and he gives us time to questions and to think about it. The installation team did the whole job in less than 6 hours and the were very attentive not only on their job but also to the garden and the whole surrounding. Kudos the the Ray Solar Team We could not be happier.

Solar Ray’s outstanding service

My experience with Solar Ray been outstanding. The salesman was very professional, not pushy, Knowledgeable and very informative. The installers was on time, quick, respectable and professional. After the installers installed everything they also cleaned up the area. Solar Ray had their own inspector that came in after the installers to make sure everything was done correctly prior to the county inspecting the system. The county inspected the system with no problems. Solar Ray is a respectable, efficient and fair company.

After more than a year of research, many conversations and quotes, we chose Solar-Ray and we are extremely satisfied with our decision! Quality workmanship by the installation crew. Installation was fast, painless and were praised by Orange County and Duke Energy inspections. As far as Customer Service, we have direct contact with company owner Mike Brown and he's always there to respond to our questions openly. Our Salesperson Mustafa Subasi, he's like family now! Clear and direct responses regardless of how many times we made the same questions. He even stopped by our home to start the system for us. Shopped around for systems and got large swing in pricing from other places. Solar Ray was the best for the size and features i wanted. Price should not be the only factor in your decision. Customer service was great and very responsive. To know you have support when you need it on your system is peace of mind. There financing options are pretty good as well. Highly recommend them and glad i went with Solar-Ray. My rep was David V. and he was great in listening to my parameters and designing the right system.

Excellent purchase experience!

I reached out to Solar Ray on their website and received a call back from Mustafa in Sales. I had been researching systems and decided against one when I discovered that PV Systems have to go offline if the grid is offline and you are unable to use the panels until power is restored. I called Solar Ray because I heard they had SMA Sunny Boy inverters that allowed you to use up to 2000kw on solar panels if the power went out during the day. Mustafa was very professional and met us with all the information. He answered all my questions and they came in a few thousand cheaper than another local company who could not offer the SMC inverters. Financing was seamless, the install was completed in one day after the paperwork was completed and I had an issue with the wireless setup on one of the inverters that they fixed the same day. The whole team was knowledgeable and professional. My bill dropped as I was told and the system has been completely stable. I would use this company again in a heartbeat and am very pleased with the results. My last electric bill was $41.00 when I typlically pay $250 in the same month.

Dennis came to our house to provide us with a quote. He was super knowledgeable and knew exactly what we needed. He took to time to review our utility bills and go over the whole process. After shopping around with no luck, Dennis was our last quote and we are super happy and glad we gave him a chance. Perfect Solar Installation

Solar-Ray helped me to get to Net Zero. The system covers all my energy needs for the house as well as driving my electric car about 15'000 miles a year. My bill is now only the base charge of about 10$ a month :-)

Everything done as they said!

Here we go , our meter has been changed and now , panels on the roof are producing power for the house. From the salesman to the team of installers to the contractor inspector, the communication has been simple , straight forward and very courteous. Never have they misled us with misinformation or buying unnecessary items. Our experience with Solar-ray has been fantastic and I would recommend them to anyone looking to install solar panels.

Professional and flawless installation GO GREEN

I have been a customer of Solar-Ray for one month now and I am very satisfied with my experience so far. The customer service, Dennis Aguado (sales representative) and the technicians that came to my house, were nice, professional, and knowledgeable. They arrived on time and only took one day to complete the project. Also, I was given great in-service knowledge for maintenance of the system. I believe they are reasonable priced for the product (we shall see in the years to come).My only present complaint is that the panels are not too aesthetically pleasing. Solar-Ray has delivered on its promises.

Exccellent System Excellent Service

Solar-Ray gave me a great price on the 9Kw system I purchased fron them. They took care of all of the necessary paperwork for the installation (I didn't have to do a thing except sign my name). The install went quickly, and I am now generating enough solar power to more than pay for the system. I would recommend them to anyone who is thinking about solar.

Solar-Ray installed my system in 2008

I had contracted with Mike back on 2008 to install 2000 watts on my roof. Mike was dealing with Evergreen panels. I live in Rockledge and for them, it was a 50+ mile trip to do the install. Mike and Carl pulled up with their trailer, powered by a solar panel. I have a metal roof and installing the racking was a major concern to me. Many holes were drilled through my new metal roofing. I was very concerned about any extra roof penetrations and the reliability of my metal roof. My concerns were baseless. I have a flawless installation, without a single leak. The panels are performing within specs even today now 2017. Solar-Ray stands by their work as I had a Sunny Boy inverter go out on me. Carl came over verified I had a problem and installed a new like item.
