Solar Power Pros

Quality and Value

We have used Solar Power Pros for solar at 2 different homes. I did comprehensive comparisons vs at least 10 solar companies and chose Solar Power Pros overall. The quality of solar panels, inverter, and their guarantee made them the best choice. They delivered, as scheduled, high quality installation and great support. No complaints after 6 years of continuous use.

Great Solar Installer for Colorado area

After shopping around with some larger companies, Solar Power Pros offered the best quality of solar panels and equipment for our region (hot summer (UV breakdown) and cold winter, snow loading and hail impact resistance) at a competitive price and offered a veterans discount on top. The service from the sales to billing and customer service all the way to job manager and installation crew did a great job and we’re on time, non intrusive and cleaned up after. We had a few go backs due to county inspectors wanting to remove panels to see optimizers, but the crew came out quickly and handled that all directly. And when the utility power company was late on installing a digital meter, Solar Power Pros did the legwork on calling and emailing to get priority for me. Overall a great experience and would definitely recommend them if your in the Colorado area that they support.

Large residential solar install

I reviewed all Colorado based residential solar power installers and received quotes from six. After long discussions with each, I selected Solar Power Pros based on their proposed design, experience working with my electric company (IREA), company profile and lastly, price. The design and install were more complicated than normal as the system provides power to two separate buildings (solar panels only on one building though) and both buildings are also connected to a backup generator. The process for me was completely effortless. The most difficult thing I had to do was open my garage door for so they could install some of the electronics inside as I requested. Their whole team was very communicative keeping me informed of the progress every step of the way. I can't think of anything they need to improve in their process. I give them my highest recommendation.

Wonderful experience

In May 2019 Solar Power Pros installed my system and I was impressed that they submitted all of the paperwork to the local Colorado Springs Utilities to arrange for me to have net-metering. All I had to do was fill out some electronic forms emailed to me. They also arranged for the inspections and meter change (to support net-metering). I'd originally got quotes from 8 solar companies and only 3 ever called me back and only one, Solar Power Pros, had the best price. They also had the best reviews on BBB, here on solarreviews, Google reviews and Yelp. The installation went smoothly and quickly and within 1 week of the panel installation, the new meter to CSU was installed and I was generating power. I'd recommend Solar Power Pros to you.

Excellent experience working with Solar Power

We recently had solar panels installed in our house by Solar Power Pros. Overall we had an excellent experience with them. The whole team was very professional, responsive and helpful. The entire process went on very smoothly even during these COVID-19 trying times. A special thanks to Raul with whom we interacted in person the most. Thanks also to Harrison who was instrumental in convincing us to go with Solar Power Pros, to Eric who managed the whole process and the rest of the Solar Power Pros team who did a wonderful job.

Good Company to Work With

We have been very happy with our solar purchase. Solar Power Pros explained the process very well. They followed through on what they said they would do. They communicated well and took care of the minor hiccups that occurred without causing any additional stress. So far the system is doing what they said it would. I would definitely recommend getting a quote from Solar Power Pros to see if they can meet your needs!

Happy Camper

I received several quotes, but I was most impressed by the presentation, knowledge, and service. The worked hard to get the job finished timely, and I am very pleased with the output. Excellent job.

Best value and great service

We got over a dozen quotes from solar installation companies of various sizes. Solar Power Pros was the best value by far. In fact, they were such an outlier, we did a substantial amount of research to make sure we weren't missing anything. Installation and performance over the last 2 years of the system were as promised. Of course, what was right for us might not be for you, and the available products may have changed over the last few years. So get your quotes and do your research, but make sure you talk to Solar Power Pros.

Top Notch Company!

My experience with Solar power pros was so great. They were very helpful from start to finish, went out of their way to work with my schedule and did a great job talking me through the system. They helped me a second time after a hail claim with a detach and reattach of my solar panels, another awesome experience! I can’t say enough great thing about this top notch company! Highly recommend using them!

Great Group of Pros to work with.

I have had my system for 3 years now, and it is performing right up to specifications. It was installed in an extremely professional manner and right on time. When I needed a new roof, the Pros came over and removed the existing system, and then replaced it once the roof was replaced. They charged a very reasonable fee for this service and I could not be happier that I did choose them to install my system. Recently I needed copies of the warranty information, and they emailed it to me in less than a day. Very professional group in every way.

Professional and dedicated to perfection

The price was right and I was aware of their work quality---they had installed a system at my daughter's house.

Had no problem with the solar works great

We have solar for the last few years no problem as of yet

Great Work on a Difficult Job

We had a large ground mounted and roof mounted arrays. A very difficult installation. There were a few issues with the trenching but they took care of everything and get it done. Great to work with. Would definitely recommend.

The Best of the Best

From start to finish, everyone I interacted with was knowledgable, competent, honest, and efficient. I could not be more pleased with my decision. Thank you!

Top Notch Company

We recently had solar installed by Solar Power Pros. They were fantastic from start to end. They undercut the competition in price while offering hands down the best product. They listened to what we wanted in a system, which most other companies downplayed. The installation was on time and everyone involved was courteous and thorough. They also never solicited a review from us, something other companies said they would do in return for a discount. I would definitely recommend using this company! There is a good reason they have all five star reviews. They deserve it.

They said what they would do and followed through!

Solar Power Pros were referred to us by friends and we are very happy we purchased our solar system from them and we highly recommend them to anyone looking to have solar installed! Price was right and our electric bill dropped drastically!

Great customer service!

Solar Power Pros is a great company who was easy to work with and gave us a great and reliable product. There is always a real person to talk to and they are very responsive. We looked at and met with many different companies and felt the most comfortable with Solar Power Pros. They worked with us to create the right plan for us, and we are so happy with our solar panels!

Awesomeness!

The work performed by Solar Power Pros exceeded my expectations. Pricing, communication, tools and professionalism also came with the package. Thank you!

They're incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, efficient, etc.

I reviewed five solar providers, selected Solar Power Pros, and can't believe how great that choice was. They clearly explained my solar needs based upon energy usage history, provided a panel layout that was customized to my roof's ability to generate maximum solar power, coordinated and executed installation flawlessly, and were the most efficient/interpersonal team of people I've ever contracted with. Their product is fantastic (LG panels) and the monitoring software is incredibly insightful (SmartSense and SolarEdge). I urge anyone reading this to, at the very least, include Solar Power Pros in your selection process. They are very solar-smart, and will give you an honest assessment and cost estimate.

5 Star from start to finish, and in price, schedule and quality

From the initial visit with Harrison of Solar Power Pros, it has been top notch service and quality system at great price (34 panel, 11.4kW). He (and Bill, Karl, Cliff, Raul, Chris, Amy) answered all my questions, and developed install plan early, and met my particular requests (Sense, additional panel for spare space). Installation, and inspections/approvals were trouble free. I had quotes from 3 others, and felt Solar Power Pro's provided best price, customer support, using quality equipment, and installed the system quickly. I'm so glad I chose them!!

Great job on my difficult custom install!

Bill and his team were amazing! They were able to do a perfect install on a very difficult system design. They were the only ones who would even consider it! The system is working perfectly, thank you!

Installation and production of power

The installation went very well, outstanding crew. Everyone who I came in contact were very profession. Since installation the system has produced 10.4MWK. Not sure where that stands in expected production but that is 10.4 MWK i didn’t have to purchase from the electric company.

Great Service

Bill and his team were always responsive and did great work. I had lots of questions along the way and they were very patient.

Fantastic experience with our entire solar install

I talked with several potential solar installers. Bill Clay, owner of Solar Power Pros, was by far the most helpful person I talked to in understanding my options from both a financial and materials standpoint. He came to my house and walked me through the options for number of panels, lease vs purchase, payoff time... In the end it came down to Solar Power Pros and the largest national company. Solar Power Pros had provided better service throughout and was less expensive. Plus it allowed me to support a local company. The installation went smoothly, exactly as promised. The crew was professional, finished quickly and cleaned up afterwards. Then they helped me through the activation process and gaining online access to my system performance. I'm extremely happy that we finally got solar and I couldn't imagine it going any better. I highly recommend using Solar Power Pros.

Home Installation

The project was seamless from start to finish...no problems, no issues. IREA was very helpful installing a new meter and changing billing for two way flow of electricity.
