Solar Connection Inc

They got our solar system running last week and now it’s producing power. If you’re thinking of getting solar panels for your house definitely look at a quote from them. They weren’t the lowest one, but we thought they were the best choice overall especially after talking to Garret on the phone when we were reviewing our options. In the end very happy with that choice. They walked us thru everything so we knew what to expect, what we were exactly getting, and ended up doing high quality work.

I cannot say enough good things about Solar Connection! From the initial conversation through design, permitting, installation, and commissioning they were there every step of the way making sure we knew what was happening and what to expect. We’re fortunate to have a large south facing roof and we installed a heat pump at the same time. Almost six months in, our utility bills are down by nearly half; can’t wait to see the results for a full year. If you’re thinking about a solar installation, call Solar Connection right now. You will be glad you did.

With 2 houses with new solar systems(old and new house) and one tear off and replace(due to hail damage), solar connections was a excellent company to work with. I had my doubts on one of the systems, but the systems worked better than we were told. Minor issues were hit with both systems. However the issues were not with anything Solar connections did, they were inside the hardware they purchased. They resolved all issues quickly and professionally working with the suppliers. The hardware they picked was high quality, and have worked flawlessly since installation was completed. They even worked with me on one of my houses to make put in a truly unique solar system with batteries. The service was more than I expected.

Professional and Flexible

I admit, there were only 2 'bidders' for our home project. (1) Solar Connections and (2) me. I really wanted to design and install our own ground mount system myself. But I also knew, from many hours of research, from experience wiring this property and a glowing recommendation from a trusted friend in the power distribution business, that I had better get at least 1 other 'competing' bid. I fully expected that the bid would be too expensive for the size of the system I wanted. But once I saw it and figured what I would have to pay to get comparable hardware (that took me a while), the profit built into the bid seemed very fair. That, coupled with the fact that we are always happy to support local business and their estimated time to get the system up and running was way shorter than the 'preferred vendor... me' we signed up. Super glad we did. The whole process from sales to commissioning was low pressure, informative, VERY flexible given we decided midstream to upgrade some panels to both meet code today and be ready for battery chargers in the near future.

Highly recommend over others we have been contacted by

The presentation of the information and the research they did as we showed interest in solar was top notch. Much better than another "solar company" that came with more of a sales pitch for financing than discussion of our potential solar output. The installation went great! And communication with everyone at Solar Connection has been very responsive and helpful. I love the app I can use on my phone or computer to see exactly what is being generated and in the short time we have had them in place, they appear to be generating as much or more than discussed based on our Minnesota weather and my roof not facing perfectly south.

Great company to work with for installing solar panels

We were interested in having solar on our forever home and Solar Connection made that a possibility. They were very helpful on providing building specifications so that when we installed solar after finishing the house things would go smoothly. Once we were ready for installation of the solar panels the technicians were very courteous and respectful of the property. I would recommend them to anyone looking to install solar panels on their house or looking to have them when building a new house.

The Best in the Business!

My family and I are incredibly impressed with our experience with Solar Connection. They provided an outstanding system for amazing value and helped answer our questions throughout the entire process. We felt extremely valued and appreciated. We couldn't imagine going with anyone else, especially after the out-of-state companies were trying to sell us systems that cost more than twice for less output. We highly suggest reaching out to Solar Connection if you are interested in exploring solar for your home and know that you will be pleased if you set up your system!

Great bunch.

I just got 16 panels going on my house. These guys also installed 12 panels on the garage 6 or 8 years ago. They are great to work with. The new batch presented some difficulties, going on a 97 year old house, but they rolled with the problems and we have our panels going. Great job, great bunch to work with.

We have had a terrific experience with Solar Connection. They provided us many options for our solar system: # of panels and placement, inverter options, panel wattage. They provided information about RPU and federal rebates. They responded quickly to all of the questions I had about the system. Our system has been producing enough to cover our entire RPU bill every month.

Drean come true

Solar Connection truly provided a connection of history with the present. The solar panel installation on an historic carriage house renewed the purpose of the building. Where hay was once fed to horses to pull carriages, the panels now power an electric car. Solar Connection professionaly made this dream come true.

Met or Exceeded All Expectations

Great communication from start to finish! They designed a system that exceeded my goals and installation was seamless. I would enthusiastically recommend to friends and family.

professional, courteous and smooth service

Solar Connection is very professional and very easy to work with. Their proposal might not be the cheapest, especially compared with some quotes from out of state vendors, but their assessment is more trustworthy. Garry explained to me the ideal configuration for my rooftop and the cost benefit analysis is convincing. He also regularly followed up during and after the installation and answered any questions I may have. The scheduling and installation process is smooth and streamlined. Megan did a great job explaining the process. Her responses are always so prompt. There were checkpoints during installation that were gated by the local utility, but I can tell they have established a good working relationship to make it as easy as possible. I’d say this is one of the reasons to go with a local company besides supporting local business. Now is the second month after the installation. I am still crunching numbers and see them translating into real dollars. So far so good, and more importantly, I feel confident that if I need assistance, I can count on these guys.

Radiant Experience

From our very first interaction with the energy consultant, Garret Sorensen, to our final install commissioning with Megan and Dave, we had a wonderful experience working with Solar Connection. Garrett was extremely knowledgeable and demonstrated an obvious passion for renewable energy. It was clear why several of our friends and colleagues have recommended Solar Connection. We would highly recommend contacting Solar Connection to learn more about solar panels and the process.

Fantastic Company!

Solar connections was amazing to work with for our array. Their representative that met with us at the start of our purchase was great. Garrett was very knowledgeable and planned a great system for our house. Throughout the process the company was very engaged and communicated exceptionally well at every juncture. The installers were awesome and kept the area clean. The system has worked very well. We had some issues with one panel and it was replaced very quickly. We would do business with Solar Connections again in a heartbeat. They are very professional and treat their clients with respect. You can be confident that they will meet and exceed your expectations.

Nothing but sunshine and good vibes

After receiving an extremely high utility bill I set out on a path to be more energy conscious and efficient. That path led me to Solar Connection. After a consultation with Garret I decided to move forward with solar panels. The entire process was seamless, communication was great, and no install issues. The install team cleaned up after themselves, painted conduit to ematch the house, and wallfished wires so they wouldn’t be exposed. Megan and team filled out all of the permits and rebate paperwork. This is a great local company to work with and the entire team is genuinely passionate about their line of work.

Solar Connection made installation and activation seem easy!

Solar Connection made the installation of my 9.6kw solar power system seem easy. They coordinated all the permits, supplies, and crews to complete the installation ahead of schedule. Thanks for a job well done!

Amazing experience lights up our home!

From initial inquiry to the commissioning, working with their Team made the unknown path of going solar a breeze. Each person was very informative and quick to help any way possible. They made each step go smooth. We would definitely recommend Solar Connection!!

Good communication with customer.

I chose them because they were close to where I live, knowledgeable and willing to work with me.

Recommends Solar Connection

The entire crew was very knowledgeable and professional. Garrett was very helpful in guiding us through the process. Every interaction we had with solar connection was informative and fruitful. We would recommend solar connection to anyone who is interested to look into the solar option. We, the Eureka Kids team is pleased with system output and the projected pay back period.

Finally: I'm in the 21st century

Knowledgeable staff worked diligently to fulfill my desire to produce clean energy. My new cattle barn was equipped with 40 panels that produce about 2 MW in a sunny month. Now I can retire and turn the cattle business over to my sons. I call it "Focus" because that's where the sons raise meat.

Very impressive system and knowledgable staff

Solar Connection did a fantastic job. I've had the system for several months and each month, it produces slightly more power than I need. They are extremely responsive to any questions I have and very willing to go the extra mile to provide tons of information.

Easy install and accurate estimates

Poles shed install. Looks great. Install was quick. Power estimates are exactly as promised.

Professional & Proficient

The Solar Connection system is performing as promised and we are already recouping costs. From the first meeting, Solar Connection personnel were excellent. The Solar Connection Rep. was able to explain the system and benefits thoroughly in an easy to understand manner with no pressure, unlike other solar company reps we had engaged. The site manager was able to handle the challenges of our site and modify their plan accordingly. The installation crew was polite and proficient. We've consistently had our questions answered satisfactorily.

Excellent group of people to work with

The team at Solar Connections was outstanding . They were all vary much so professional people from the job that was done and vary well informative on everything they had done and were doing . I would recommend this company to anyone that would or are considering solar panels . Forgot the after care was out standing to . They had done check ups to make sure everything was working as it should and if there was a problem they had taken care of it promptly

I am pleased with my choice of Solar Connections!

I had my solar system installed last summer and it has been operational since early July. I have been extremely pleased with it, have had no trouble with it at all, and the system is producing as they said it would. What the company representatives told me was in line with what I'd read when I researched solar power, and it has proven to be accurate. And, I think this is funny... Before I got my system, I was not careful with the amount of power I used. Since I got it, I turn off lights all the time, and my usage is actually lower than what it used to be.

Excellent local solar installer

Solar connection installed a 14.8Kw system on my house. It has been operational for 6 months now and we are getting our first negative electric bills now that spring is here. Quote was accurate with no overruns, and the installation was smooth. Prompt service response on a minor issue with a fuse. Problem was resolved quickly. Great local company. Recommended

Win-win. Great company, great for environment

The process was a bit slow at first with needing various approvals including the HOA, but, once it got rolling, it was pretty fast. Everyone was great to work with. And after it was installed, they made sure I understood the system and made sure they took the time to answer any questions I had. Felt very comfortable with everyone from the company and they were true professionals

Saving has never been easier

Solar Connection was an easy choice. Great people to work with...Quality product...and a price to match. They do it all....site evaluation...design...permitting...ordering...installation...inspections. Just be ready to open the door for the electrician.
