Everyone at Skyline, from the customer service folks to the unit installers, are very friendly. They are always available to quickly and efficiently answer your questions. We are very pleased with the service that we received from Skyline. 10/10 would recommend.

Great Communication

Jeremy was a great salesman. He didn’t pressure us and was very knowledgeable about the solar panel system. The system was installed quicker than expected. The only thing keeping the overall rating from 5 stars was the reclamation of the ditch that was dug….. it could have been cleaned up better, but that’s not Jeremy’s fault. Great person and company, we highly recommend them

Worst company ever

This is the worst company I have ever worked with. They basically steal your money and go. We got solar panels from them two years ago and they haven’t worked since. They never answer the phone and they never call back. Don’t ever use this company or you will get shit solar panels and lose all your money. This company doesn’t even deserve 1 star…..

Never followed up

Skyline Solar promised us new led lights and a smart thermostat. This was in our contract. However, they never showed up and never followed up on our emails and phone calls. If I could go back, I would’ve went through a different company!

No Communication!!!

I had a Skyline Solar system installed in Dec 2020. I have been trying to have someone from Skyline contact me about my system and the monitoring of it. I have made numerous phone calls and sent emails to no avail. Hopefully this review will be seen by someone in Management at Skyline Solar and a response will be made. This is by far the most unresponsive company that I have ever dealt with. This facet of their business has tainted the entire experience with them.

Don't listen to a word that SKYLINE SOLAR LLC tells you..

Skyline Solar is a company that prides themselves in ripping off the unsuspecting. Their computer generated presentation is the very first part of selling you on their scam with false information of how you save on energy costs by purchasing a solar powered system, then adding on a smart thermostat and LED bulbs that will offset your energy production. It's a scam and don't fall for it. My biggest problem is that a very inexperienced employee made a bid on my house and didn't do so correclty. As a direct result of trusting them, I was led in to believing that I was purchashing a solar system that will power my entire home which in fact is the direct opposite of what is actually happening. I have been trying to get this problem resolved for the past 16 months but all I am receiving from skyline solar are fake attempts at fixing my issue and straight up LIES... They are liars and are doing absolutely nothing to fix the problem. I was told by their Project Manager that if I spend more money, then they can get the system working as originally promised. Basically, According to Blackhills Energy Renewable energy Manager, I was sold a system that will never power my home in the way that I was promised. I believe that skyline solar knew exactly what they were selling me but was only interested in making a profit and didn't care what they sold me. And now, all I get is the run around with no intentions on fixing the problem.The only way to get this issued resolved is to take them to court and have a judge order them to fix the problem..DO NOT TRUST SKYLINE SOLAR BECAUSE THEY ARE LIARS...

Horrible

Never call me back. Undersold me Now paying panels and electric bill. Took them forever ti complete the job and promises made.

Omg never calls back

Ok when Skyline cane to our Home we liked the idea of saving some cash and not giving to the power company so we were told by our salesman that we would have a 13.00 bill from them, we have had problems now we are paying 235 per month for both ave bill was 145 for the year I have asked month after month to fix this problem no call so I call the salesperson he says file with the BBB they have paid us back some of the Bills back but every month I have to call and they never call back. It's a pain in the butt doing the same thing I ask when is it getting fixed I'm afraid when winter comes we will be paying double because it's not fixed correct.Talk to the salesman that sold this to us and he say ill forward it. I'm sorry but I really feel like this is a Ripoff and lies broader line fraudulent. Please be Alerted to all this.

Big mistake going with this company

Do not let this company sucker you in with all their lies like I allowed them to. They lured me in by of course saying I would save money by switching to solar. Who doesn’t wanna save money? Then they said I would get $6,000 tax credit that I could 1) keep and use for what ever I want but my monthly payment would increase roughly $30 a month or 2) pay the $6000 toward the panels and keep the same low monthly payment. Went and did my taxes and they laughed at us saying “ I’m so sorry but it’s not true the tax credit only applies if you owe taxes and to feel bad we’re not the only ones” well the sales guy was Didnt not mention any of that only that we were guaranteed to get the $6000. So now I have these panelS that he said would be enough to cover 120% of my monthly usage I told the guy I have only lived here for a few months I don’t have any data built up and he said that fine they would use my neighbors usage. He then tells me i only need 10 panels I said ok why do I only need 10 but my neighbors all have 25+ panels and he told me that’s because I’m getting newer stronger panels. Come to find out I wouldMy have been approved to get the amount of panels need to supply my house So they said I need 10 just make the sale. So then they come to install I have security cameras showing them break my outside security light and try to hide it, they cut a hole in my out side wall for a meter that they didn’t even use now there is an eye sore of a hole in my wall they also cut a my masonry bricks on my house to run a pipe that they didn’t use. I offered the installers my restroom to use if they need to but nope they instead decided to piss in my yard while my kids had been running in and out of the house playing thank god they didn’t see it. They call or I call to make appointment for them to come fix things or to install the light they will give me a day and time so I take time off work to meet them and they don’t show up with out a call saying they weren’t coming. I wasted roughly about a week of work all together waiting on them with a no show. So now I’m still paying $70-$110 to the electric company plus the $65 for the panels which is now going to increase because I didn’t get the tax credit they promised I’d get.

Very Fast Beautiful Job

When they knocked on my door I didn't know you could go solar with no money down. So glad that they stopped by now I get the independence that I didn't know I had. I appreciate how organized they are getting my install from start to finish in 31 days! Thanks!

Total Misrepresentation,

Because it was represented that we would get the 30% renewable energy credit and keep payments down, made sense for two seniors on a fixed income to lower utility costs. No One gets the monies in hand as represented no matter what your tax liability. That is why in process of filing complaint with CO AG office and contacting BBB, in American Fork, UT, along with seeking legal council.

Just finished, not real pleased

Purchased it in December took six months to get it completed. Workmanship excellent, not so much from the home-office delays upon delays, upon delays is what we dealt with. Had to contact the owner to get anywhere. Installation crews were unbelievably hot telephone support from home-office not!

Great Experience!

My experience with Skyline Solar was perfect! I was kept up to date along the entire process and they did quality work installing the panels on my roof. I feel they went above and beyond to help me understand how it all worked. Glad I chose Skyline!

It makes perfect sense

Didn't know much about solar til Skyline stopped at my door. A lot of what I thought I knew was embarrassingly wrong. They had all the resources and information to educate me and now I own my own power. The guy that helped me was super charming and was very patient with me as I took a few days to decide! I will recommend!

Great Communication

I was first approached by a young lady at my door. The sweet lady was so kind in such a cut throat industry of door to door sales I agreed to the appointment to do her a favor and then this gentleman showed up and waited til my husband came home so I didn't feel uncomfortable. I felt bad he insisted on waiting so Joe showed up and we talked about everything but solar. We happily signed up before he left then he scheduled another local guy to stop by and make sure that the system would fit then they kept in touch up until the installation date. It's tough to trust a random guy or girl that comes to your door but I put my stamp of approval on this company because my power bill is now $5 a month just like promised

They did what they said they would do, and took care of issues as they arose with alacrity! Good people, good company.

Solar Installed

The quality of workmanship and the product itself is excellent! The process of having everything done, not so good! Lots of NO COMMUNICATION! They can’t even communicate internally, the different depts don’t even know what’s going on! They didn’t even know my solar was turned on and working!

Up and running

We had a 30 panel ground mounted system installed and everything is running smooth so far. The installers did a great job setting up the system but got stuck on our property and tore up the ground that I needed to clean up after they were finished and they did not do a complete clean up of the work area that I ended up doing. The sales rep we dealt with named Ray is amazing and very helpful.

Great Service

The installers were very professional and informative of the process. Very happy with the whole process, kept me inform and up to date.

Nice system

So far so good, the system was professionally installed in a timely manner. It is very well designed and looks great, I have a ground mount system. The installers and support staff where great they answered all questions and always contacted me promptly and kept me up to date with the installation progress.

We had Skyline Solar install 29 panels on our home in December 2017 and couldn’t be happier! Besides doing a quality installation job, they were very professional, thorough, and helpful throughout the whole process. We especially love getting our $8 electricity bills!
