SAVKAT started as a family-run residential SunPower solar panel dealer in Farmington CT. Our goal was to maintain customer relationships and provide great service at every step of the solar process. Over the years we have grown to be an Elite SunPower Dealer and service customers in five states. We have always been driven by customer interactions and focused on informing and empowering smart decision-making. During the consulting stage, we help homeowners understand their energy needs, solar savings, and the process of going solar. Throughout installation we handle all logistics from permitting to inspections. After systems have been turned on, we monitor all sites for accurate production estimates and exceeding performance expectations. We are proud to have a 5 star rating from our customer base. Our company owner is Board Certified by the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP). The NABCEP is the most respected, well-established, and widely recognized certification organization for North American solar professionals in the field of renewable energy. Customers can rest assured knowing that we are highly qualified to handle their specific and unique solar needs whether commercial or residential.

Very Responsive Company!
My wife and I chose Savkat Solar because they were responsive to our needs, they were informative an concise with there presentation and sales process. The installation was neat, crew was polite and the they even did a little extra when I asked them to fix a leader pipe for my gutter and they said no problem and did it. Overall we had a great experience and we are happy with the Sunpower panels because of their highest rating and Savkat was easy to work with.

Residential Solar and snow guard install
Savkat Solar was super efficient and the project was done very neatly and on time. Salesperson was very knowledgeable and was able to give me a baseline price on the system unlike the other two companies I had out. He listened to my question and provided what I needed. They also respond quickly all queries very quickly. I also had them install snow guards and they did a very professional job.

Best solar panels and service

Sunpower
Salesmen to workers to install all excellent. Panels installed mid November. We still have a 200.00 UI bill. The sales rep told us that it takes time for the panels to charge. I giggled this and found nothing. Nothing says it in any paper work. We were told someone would check the system within 2wks. Not happy. I want credit, or they can remove the panels give me a new roof.

Ed, Thank you for the review and I am happy to see you graded us well in almost all the departments. I believe there is a bit of a misunderstanding about what your wife and I spoke about with regard to the production. As I explained to Carol, your system was installed in mid November which is a time of the year where the sun hours are at their shortest and your production will be the lowest in the winter months when the sun is at its lowest point in the sky and the days are short. The panels do not "charge" and that is why when you Googled it you found no information. What I think is being referred to is the banked kilowatt hours in the net metering program. The banked kWh's are the additional production in kWh's that you have at your disposal for nighttime and the time of the year when you have shorter sun hours. You will build your bank starting in March and throughout the summer and into the fall. Your system was designed to offset 100% of your electric needs based on your average usage over a year period. This is the case with systems that are properly designed. <br /> <br />As for products and equipment used, you have a SunPower Equinox 360 Watt system on your home, this system is second to none in the world and I am confident you will feel the same very soon when you see your banked hours on your utility bill.<br /><br />The after sales support is here 24/7. I personally took your wife Carol's call this past Sunday and went over the aforementioned. I have since ran the diagnostics on your system to ensure everything is working as described and it is. Awesome Solar
I had solar panels installed on my house last year. It is so awesome, it is better than i though it would be. We love it so much. Steve the guy who did our house was great. He was true to his word every step of the way. He was always available to answer any questions we had.
