Professional and honorable, a great local company.
This company is professional in every way possible. Great communication, and they sat down and thoroughly made sure solar was a worthwhile option for us before we did anything. They took care of everything from start to finish, and the process involved no down payment of any sort on our part. I can't recommend them enough if you are thinking of adding solar panels.

My Experience With RoofTop Power
I dealt with 4 different companies and had three come out and look at the site and provide quotes. One of the companies became a leech and was constantly hounding us for a decision with numerous calls/ and/or emails a day. Obviously they didn't get the job. Right from the start Sheena came in to discuss what RoofTop can do for us. She was professional and knew her information and those questions we had that she didn't have the answer for she admitted and told us she would get back with an answer, which she did every time. Being a professional myself in the construction industry, I did the analysis and found over the life of the project that this was the most economical of all the other quotes. So we went with RoofTop Power. Before installing our system, Trinity power came in and installed a solar system on three other houses in our development. RoofTop installed our system before Thanksgiving and my brother's system a few days later. After two city inspections and getting National Grid to connect us, we went live on 15 January followed by my brother a few days later. Of the three Trinity systems that were installed before ours, one went live about a month after ours and the other two have yet to go live. (We have already produced over 1.37 Mega Watts. Imagine all the energy those other systems have lost.) The other notable thing is the installation. RoofTop panels each have an eternal inverter so if one goes out he others still work. As the other systems have one total inverter, when that goes out all the panels go out. Plus it is another item hanging on the outside of the house. Besides this, RoofTop worked to install the wires internal to the house so it looks clean. The other systems have external conduits running over the roof, around the eaves then along the side of the house, RoofTop installation looks more professional compared to the other installations.

Quick and clean installation.
I wanted a system that I would own and not lease. RTP provided a quick, clean installation. Each panel has its own microinverter which promotes better utilization and simplifies troubleshooting a problem that might occur with a panel. The app RTP provides to monitor the production is easy to use and provides current and cumulative data on the system generation.

Great local Solar company.
I choose Rooftop Power as my solar installer because they are a local business and would be able to provide better/faster service if any issues came up. Dexter was my consultant. He is very knowledgeable and was able to answer my many questions and concerns. It truly is $0 down and with my install being done before 2019 ended, I will also receive a 30% Federal Tax Credit at tax time. My 6.03 kW system has 18 LG335N1K-V5 NeON2 panels paired with Enphase IQ7 microinverters. The design looks great on my roof. The install was done on Dec 24th. The crew started at about 7:30am and were wrapped up around noon. They were courteous, neat and left no mess behind. Time will tell how much money we'll actually save, but we're definitely helping the environment by going solar.

5 stars
From start to finish the experience was excellent. Our sales representative, Dexter Hofhines was extremely knowledgeable, explained everything clearly and was great to work with. From branch clearing (which we were 100% compensated for) to the new roof that we needed, financing couldn't have been easier. We didn't pay a penny out of pocket. One of the main reasons we chose Rooftop Power was that it is a local company based here in Warwick. We are very happy with our choice. If you're considering going solar, we highly recommend this company. Stop paying National Grid and let them pay you!
