Great Experience

We always knew solar was something that we wanted to explore so we began the process of meeting with various companies. Meeting with Richie from Revolusun was different. We knew right away it was the company we wanted to work with. He was informative, responsive, professional and we never felt like he was trying to sell us something. From there the process went very smoothly. Even after completion we have been in contact with Richie with questions and to make sure we are happy with our experience and product.

Very good experience

They listened to our specific requirements, have used vent extenders to move bathroom vents so there is a minimal number of gaps in the array, managed to pull the cables above ceiling in the basement, so there is just a single vertical conduit running on the side of the house and no other visible cabling anywhere. They were mostly on schedule, times when they were not were not their fault (weather). We are very happy we hired them.

RevoluSun exceeded my expectations while installing solar panels on my vacation house. Their installation team was totally knowledgeable, available to answer my questions, and incredibly efficient like wise worker ants each with his/her role to get it all done. All this enhanced my enjoyment in getting my property off the grid and knowing that it would not be adding to the fossil fuel degradation of our environment, as well as the return on my investment through solar renewal energy certificates and a solar energy tax credit.

Top Notch Outfit

When investigating solar & installers I had met with about 5 companies. I was floored by the differences in quality of materials, installation, & warranty Revolusun provided. Being in construction, the weathertightness & how the system was adhered to my home was paramount. As an environmentalist, I was not as concerned with aesthetics & installation, basically because I was ignorant to those being options. There are about 30 systems on my street, though different companies, they all look the same....blue panels, lightweight equipment, wiring conduit all over the roof & around the trim, & all the equipment proudly displayed on the front of everyone's home. I was extremely impressed that Revolusun doesn't do any of these. Not only does my system include American Sun Power panels that are black cells & frames, but all of my wiring is in my attic & the equipment is in the garage. The aesthetics of my system are amazing. The performance is superior. They provided warranties that far exceeded anyone else I spoke with to protect my property & investment. Literally, double the warranties of anyone else! The office team was super proactive with their communication & the installation teams were efficient, hard working, & kept the site clean! They do everything in house without subcontractors. So one point of contact & responsibility. I was so impressed after my initial installation 2 years ago that I added to the system this past summer. Same experience & results. I've worked with many contractors over the years & these folks are top notch. Knowledgable, professional, & follow through. Like I said, there are a lot of solar companies with systems in my neighborhood & none have the aesthetic or performance that I have. I highly recommend working with Revolusun!

High Quality Materials + Great Customer Service

We decided to go with Revolusun because of the quality of materials they use. The sales man was very straightforward and informative and had samples to show us (of the rails and mounting equipment) in the home. We went with SunPower panels because they were highly rated and had a great 25 year warranty. Throughout the process, our project manager Ian was there every step of the way and let us know when we received permits/permission from the electric company. Any time we had questions we got answers. Could not be more happy with our installation!! If you're considering solar - talk to Revolusun!

Would recommend Revolusun

Our 14 panels are up and running, we decided to buy rather than lease, it made sense to us. It was a long process only because we encountered a couple of hiccups but no fault or delays from Revolusun. During the process we dealt with a few individuals starting with our knowledgeable and reliable sales rep, Rich Ditucci, an inspector, financial coordinator, operations coordinator, electricians, etc. I have to say considering the amount of people involved in the process, I am very satisfied with the handling of every piece of the transaction. Rich Ditucci was our primary go to guy with all questions, he demonstrated that he cares, he followed-up on items we asked or inquired about, if he didn't know the answer, he directed us to the right individual. We are happy with the end results and we're impressed with the follow up appointment after the installation, Rich took his time to follow up to answer any lingering questions we had. Something we don't see after most sales. I would highly recommend this company to my family and friends.

Revolusun - Best-in-Class !!!

Overall experience was excellent from pre-sales through installation to post sales support! When I decided to seriously look into solar, I had some reservation based on war stories I heard from other people's experiences with solar companies, but I really wanted to get control over my electric bills and gain some level of energy independence. I shopped solar with a few different companies and I was particularly impressed with Revolusun's professionalism, depth of knowledge and consultative approach. They answered all my questions, provided lots of information and detail on what I could expect in my home. They were very credible and gave me the comfort level and confidence to go forward with solar and with Revolusun. Their products are best-in-class and so are the warranties - the best I could find. The installation went smoothly and quickly and their install team was courteous and neat. The final product on the roof looks great! The communication was tight throughout the entire process. They laid out the timeline and kept me in the loop every step of the way - no surprises. Looking back, solar was a good decision and so was Revolusun!

Terrific installer!

I had a fantastic experience with Revolusun. I decided to buy rather than lease, and they installed my 12 panel system this fall without a hitch. Their customer service has been just awesome. Case in point: my project developer, Enos, at one point received the kind of E-Mail that sales managers must absolutely dread. A mile-long list of more than 30 questions, on top of all the questions I’d spent two hours grilling him on during our in-person consultation. No problem! Back the answers came, neatly numbered and itemized for me. Any time that I’ve had any questions at all throughout the process, and I have had TONS (it’s a character flaw, haha), Enos, my project’s engineer Ian, operations manager Joe getting the inspectors out to me very promptly, Nelia in the office, Deta and Lauren guiding me through getting my system interconnected after it was installed, everyone has always been extremely prompt, friendly, and informative. They took care of everything for me. And they’ve kept all of their promises. The installation is awesome, proper flashing, QuickMount with an elevated water seal, they were on time and friendly, cleaned up promptly and completely, and I’ve got great quality panels up there. Check out Panasonic panels: http://news.energysage.com/panasonic-solar-panels-complete-review/ Mine have a temperature coefficient of -.258 degrees (most good panels are at about -.4) so they perform better than average on hot summer days, 18.8% efficiency, and a 25 year warranty (usually you’ll get quoted 10-15). Cherry on top, they only degrade at a rate of .26% per year. Every other mid-range panel I was quoted degraded on the order of .5-.7% per year. 25 years from now, my panels will still be putting out more than 90% of what they can today. Most brands fall down to about 80% by then. So they’re super premium SunPower quality panels (which Revolusun can install too, if you prefer) but less expensive than SunPower by about $1/watt. Worth it! Revolusun was about $1/watt more expensive than the cheapest offers, but frankly, when it comes to something this big and important, you don’t want to go with the lowest bidder and wind up with not just low or middling quality panels, but cut corners and roof damage too. And after 25 years had gone by, if I’d gone with the super low bidders, I wouldn’t be covering my bills anymore anyways because their panels would have degraded quite a bit by then. But Revolusun were also far from the most expensive - some of the bigger name companies in the area were charging $1-2/watt more than Revolusun, and for lower quality panels! Revolusun is one of the very few companies around that I found that installs Panasonic panels. See above as to why I’m so happy about that brand. So frankly, I think it’s a great deal - super premium panels and high quality work, for mid-range price. They were always very sympathetic to my aesthetic concerns, too. My house is south-facing, a nice traditional little Cape Cod, and I was very sensitive about potentially changing its classic look. Revolusun went to every effort to create the most aesthetically pleasing system that they could, offering me black-on-black panels, working with me to make sure that the array was designed and installed perfectly symmetrically on my roof, running the conduit internally so that I didn’t have a big ol’ pipe running across the visible part of my roof, giving me options about where I wanted to have everything on the side of the house, and ultimately squeezing in behind some trees and bushes to hide things back there out of sight for me. I think they did an awesome job. There are even more reasons why I went with them, but nobody wants this review to be a novel. Seriously, CALL this company up, hear what they have to say. If they put so much effort and care into my tiny system on my tiny house with all my pickiness, they can do a fantastic job for you, too. No regrets!

One of the questions is whether I would recommend the company to others - I not only would, but I have! They were so incredibly knowledgable and helpful throughout the entire process, from the technical aspects, to the financing, all the way to getting it up and running! I got my first month's electric bill and ot was minus 110 dollars! And that was after the hottest summer we have had in a while (so lots of AC )!!

Fantastic customer service and priduct

We did plenty of research. We knew exactly what we wanted- a good product, a great warrantee, and a company that would stand behind it all. We were pretty skeptical that any one company who sold panels in our area would truly be better than any other. We figured, yadda yadda yadda, everyone says they are the best and will give you a better deal than competitor x, buying is better than entering a 20 year deal with a vendor who is essentially using your roof for their own profit, give us a song and dance... Blah blah blah, whatever. AND THEN THERE WAS RICHIE. He knew his product, he knew the market. He knew the fine print. He was straightforward, no nonsense, fun, informed, respectful, and professional every step of the way. And he was even funny. But we were picky. And skeptical. This is our home, and we didn't want to poke holes in our roof and go into a ton of debt because we were charmed into a slick deal that could maybe help save the planet, lower our overall energy costs, and assuage our hippie consciences. We got five more estimates. We did even more research. We crunched the numbers. It was painful. We really wanted to prefer their top competitor in our area, A local coop. They did come in a teeny bit less for exactly the same product. We wanted to go with the contractor who built our home, because maybe they would be more invested in doing it right and keeping us happy. We tossed and turned for weeks. We came to the ultimate conclusion: yep. RICHIE WAS RIGHT. REVOLUSUN DOES COST A LITTLE MORE, BUT IT'S OK BECAUSE THEY REALLY ARE AS AWESOME AS THEY SAY THEY ARE. No, really, they are. We signed on...and in 11 weeks, we had panels that were powered. They team walked us through every aspect of the contract and financial process. They answered every phone call and every email and every text. The installation crew was professional, efficient, clean, and respectful. They even played with our dog. They were composed, diligent, and informed when they were challenged by us or by local inspectors. Every utility bill since then has been negative, and we've started to save the planet. We are thrilled with our decision.

These guys did an awesome job at my house, from the begging of the project until the end. Richie my sales rep was very nice and always there when i had questions Ian project coordinator also on top of the project the whole time which made things go nice and smooth Installers did a great job running the electrical off my roof and making sure the panels look awesome on the outside, i only wish the had asked the location of where they ran the wire pipping inside (only reason im not giving a 5 stars) besides that were everything went great just like promised and things moved very fast!

24 SunPower panels

Very fast turn around. Contract was signed on July 1st and the system turned on at the the end September. This also included adding 2 panels to the original quote, permits, inspections, ... . System production seems to be in-line with the predictions. We are very satisfied with the installation process and the quality/look of the whole system. The original routing of the conduit was not aesthetically very pleasant, so we proposed another solution that was implemented.

Great workmanship and excellent customer service

I've had my system installed by Revolusun in Arlington a month ago. The quality of workmanship was superb, and they took care of everything. The install looks great. There was a hiccup at first, when the Inverter failed a few days after it was turned on. Revolusun was at my house the next day to diagnose the problem and order a replacement. It took them a week to get a new inverter in and swap it out. Their customer care followed up with me throughout and after the replacement. They also took care to monitor my production for a bit to make sure everything was going well. I am very happy with them.

Overall, a good company to work with

Overall, a good quality, responsive company. Some minor problems with scheduling, financing, and getting my solar credits, but everything worked out in the end. Great quality installation

Extremely pleased with our installation

I was always interested in installing solar panels but it never seemed to make financial sense. That is until I met Revolsun reps through my work. They explained the tax credits and SRECs you would get to offset the cost of the project. It became immediately apparent to me how Solar companies that lease solar panels to homeowners make money. It's all through the SREC program. We immediatly signed up with RevoluSun to install a 10kW system. The installers did a fabulous job not only installing the panels but also running all the conduit so it was hidden within crawl spaces of my attic. The project was completed as scheduled. The web site I use to monitor the system is very easy and straightforward. I've already recieved numerous SRECs to offset my monthly payments for the project (we chose to finance). I couldn't be happier that we chose to purchase solar panels with RevoluSun. Now I smile even more when the sun is out!

No brainer, it works in MA!

We now enjoyed 13 month of harvesting solar electricity from our roof and the promises were kept. Revolusun helped me convince my husband that even with a suboptimal roof we could zero out our electricity bill and balance our carbon footprint from flying to europe in addition to saving money. Other companies refused to even look at our mostly east facing roof. Revolusun was innovative and professional in every aspect and helped us to realize my dream of producing our own electricity.

On time, on budget, exceeded performance estimate.

I contracted with RevoluSun to install a photovoltaic system on my summer home on Cape Cod. I made an addition to the house and installed a new roof prior to the installation of the solar system. After the contract was signed and I had my schedule in place; I gave RevoluSun a date, six weeks forward, for them to start their part of the project. On that date at 7:30 in the morning I had 3 installers, and 3 electricians in my driveway ready to go. As many a frustrated homeowner on Cape Cod can attest, getting a contractor to show up at all can be a monumental task. The installation of the panels and the electrical work were all completed two and a half days later! The follow up engineering "as built" inspections, and the commissioning process went as smoothly as could be expected. Down to a man, everyone RevoluSun sent to my home was courteous and professional. The next step was performance. At the one year anniversary, my system, with Mother Nature's help, produced slightly more electricity than the estimate stated in the contract. One last note: any second homeowner would be well advised to seek the advice of their tax accountant to confirm any tax benefits a solar system will provide them.

We were told we could not have solar panels on our house because of the roof lines. Revolusun came up with a plan and made it work! High quality workmanship and product made it all possible. Revolusun is there even after the installation. We own our panels and could not be happier! Thank you Revolusun for making this possible.

Great system

We are very pleased with the entire process with RevoluSun. I had done quite a bit of research and determined the best return would be to purchase, not one of the plans to "rent your roof." Year on year without and with solar my electric bill went from $2197 to $388. The tax credits were about $15,000 and so far the SEREC payments are $2056. It's almost 1/2 paid for in a little over a year. The payback was a lot better than what the bank was giving me. A couple of acquaintances who decided to go no investment "roof rent" are not that happy. They say they are not saving as much as they were led to believe. "We are saving some, which is good but wished we had done what you did."
