April with the Sun
Hi, Since my time as a young gal, I have always made it my task to do what I can to reduce my consumption of fossil fuels. I burn wood for heat because it is renewable, drive an economical car, practice permaculture principles, grow veggies and pollinators, and try to live a simple life in my community. After attending a Fall 2014 Solar Launch Event hosted by ReVision Energy, near my town of Andover, NH and participating in the Andover Energy Group, I became a convert. Everyone that I spoke and worked with, beginning with Jonathan Gregory; the Solar ReVision crew on my roof and in my basement; to Brian Valle Master Electrician; and finally crew at the meters, with Scott McNeil NHCUC Program Administrator were terrific. When I say terrific I mean efficient, fun, hard-working, and informative. The staff was also really helpful with the paperwork for getting the project underway and for the financial incentives and rebates. They finished the roof and basement work on the coldest day in February. It was at least -20 degrees when they started that morning. I am forever thankful for the professional work of everyone at ReVision. Thank you!!

Dav & Holly's Solar Electric Installation
ReVision Energy's installation of our 33 panels went without a hitch. They also worked with us to maximize the # panels by reorienting them such that we went from the original 22 panels to 33. The installation crew was very professional and I would highly recommend ReVision. We are not only generation all our own power but are "banking" power with Eversource for the winter months.

Pleasantly surprised
We had a very good experience with Revision from start to finish. From the design of the system which was revised several times, to walking us through the rebate process. Courteous and respectful crews showed up and did an excellent installation on time, and went above and beyond what was expected.I highly recommend Revision Energy.

Home solar system
I'm not an expert on solar but I do know that I feel better capturing the sun that hits my roof. My house is at the top of a hill and the front faces south. The panels look awesome. All I have left to do is figure out how the tax part works.

Great experience
So far, I am very satisfied with my experience with ReVision. What made them particularly helpful was navigating all the factors involved with such a major purchase, from the local ordinances to the rebates, and credits, to the net metering issues, to getting the most powerful system balanced with the most affordable one. One particular area of praise: there was some news of our local utility no longer offering 100% net metering. Due to this, ReVision rearranged their installation schedule, on the order of several months, to make sure we were set up before this might happen. That was really above and beyond in terms of excellent service, and it was hugely appreciated by us. The installation team was very professional and courteous as well. I think it took just two or three partial days' work. There were a couple of very small wrinkles with the process (mostly with the proposal, so I advise checking the numbers carefully) but I suspect that had everything to do with demand booming for them and their attempt to handle lots of new business all at once (I hear they have since expanded their operation). It's still early, but from the installation to now (five months) our solar production has exceeded our expectations, which I suspect means ReVision did a precise job of sighting where the panels should go and how many. Since going solar, I am constantly asked about my system, and have also noticed a number of new arrays up in my town and others. I suspect, at least in my area, this has gone from a niche product to something that will become a normal feature of the residential landscape in the future.

Terrific Company to Work With
We had an excellent experience working with ReVision Energy. Their professional staff both onsite and in the office made this a very smooth transition to solar. They took care of everything. They also went above and beyond to make sure that our connection to the grid was in place prior to our utility's reduction in value of energy credits that we generated. I would (and have) highly recommend ReVision to my friends who are interested in converting to solar energy.

I am very happy with my solar hot water system installed by Revision Energy. From the start Revision was very professional about the project and installation went smoothly. Additionally, the projected oil savings materialized. When I expand to a whole house solar system, I am sure I will contact them.

This whole process, from our first conversations and reviews, financial approvals and planning to the final installation was so easy it was a no- brainer. Help in understanding the process was never more then an email or two away. The installation was amazingly neat and efficient, despite freezing cold and windy conditions. The capitol a=outlay was zero and the continuing payments are so reasonable. And finally, the feeling of creating our own electrical energy makes us smile whenever we think about it. Just do it!

One year of solar energy
Due to our home situated in the woods among very tall pines, we situated our panels on poles in a field adjacent to our home. We've been extremely pleased with this panel mounting system since we can adjust the angle of the panels through the seasons, simply completed by pulling out one bolt. We managed to eek out 4% over the predicted KWH production for the first year of our operation. Every little bit helps. Net metering has also been seamless. It was most interesting to see how much more KWP was obtained due to snow reflection so now I'm wondering how I can mimic snow reflection in the summer! My 6.24 kwp system at times in January and February was generating almost maximum at 6.16 kwh at the peak of the day. As I was adjusting to understanding the system, emails were answered promptly and courteously. The process from first meeting with Revision through this first year has been most interesting and informative.

This is a very professional company, from start to finish. Scheduling is spot on, the crew is well trained, safety conscious and knowledgeable. Bid price is adhered to, and if they see a way to make an improvement, it's usually done without an increase in cost.Post completion follow-up and support are excellent. You can't do better.

After a year - solar panels by ReVision Energy
Despite the lack of state incentives in Maine, my spouse and I decided to have solar installed for our house. In May 2014 ReVision Energy installed a 3.64 KH solar array (14 panels) on our garage, located about 30 yds from the house. They evaluated the best way to install the meter (which turned out to be on the house), dug the trench for electrical cable from the garage to the house, and installed the 14 panels on schedule and on budget. ReVision offers American made panels and inverter, which we purchased. The panel orientation on the garage was not perfect -- tilt=20°; azimuth=240°; skyline heading=164° -- so the panels are not at a high tilt and face a little west. 3,693 kWHrs of production were predicted in the quote. After a year of operation, the panels are hitting this mark as measured by Central Maine Power and by the inverter, despite being buried under the snow for much of the winter. A higher tilt was offered by Revision at the time of installation, and we did not take it, but it probably wouldn’t have made much difference. The predicted output is being met regardless. Wireless access monitoring of the inverter is possible but the garage is out of range, so one my favorite activities is to go out to the garage and “check on the solar,†that is, watch the savings grow. ReVision Energy was recommended to me by a local friend who also had solar installed, and I have strongly recommended them to others. If you are considering solar, my suggestion, as found in other reviews here, is to go for it now despite the lack of state incentives, and to get a quote from ReVision.

Good Job; Well and Promptly Done
ReVision installed a 11.8kw roof panel solar project for us this Spring. The job was done on time and on budget and the people we dealt with were responsive and informed. We had two hicups - they hadn't anticipated a NH Coop charge of about $1500 to upgrade the transformer and because of the size of the project I had to revise their standard paper work to make it work with the NH rebate rules. These were both small points. We were glad we went with ReVision

Intervale Road Project
In building our new home we decided to down size and to be as energy efficient as possible. That led to a decision to be totally solar powered (with the exception of a propane emergency generator-this is the coast of Maine). All of our energy needs are met by our solar panel installation in conjunction with dual metering with Central Maine Power. ReVision Energy's system has performed as promised and we are very pleased with our system and the results. ReVision sized our system to support a plug in hybrid car which I am currently shopping for.

Professional and Easy
ReVision Energy came to my house and provided a timely estimate of my solar capacity. They explained the financing available to me and what would be involved in the installation. They assured me that it would not harm my roof or structure. I felt confident in their services. After I got approved for the loan, it took a while to complete the installation (I was on the schedule for a little over a month), but it was worth the wait. My system looks great and works well. I would recommend them to others.

Finally replaced 1970's domestic hot water panels
By way of background, we live in a coastal home I designed in 1970 and have always sought renewable energy improvements. In the late 70's oil crisis, we installed a solar domestic hot water system as well as a wind turbine, fireplace insert, additional multiple glazing, and other energy saving enhancements at our all-electric home (the world was then supposed to be going nuclear electric!). The solar system was great on payback, but got severely corroded in our ocean atmosphere after nearly 40 years. We contacted ReVision Energy, which had recently installed a roof PV system at our daughter's house in Maine. They assessed our system and recommended only replacement of the components that would bring it up to contemporary standards. Primary were the exterior panels. They went the extra mile to reproduce the basic dimensions of our original rack so the custom wood enclosure could be reused. Interior expansion tanks and controls were also completely updated. ReVision Energy personnel handled all the research and paperwork for MA state rebates. Their installation was efficient, and on schedule, and they kept a clean work site. They explained operation clearly, and we have had no issues in our first year. I recommend ReVision Energy to anyone installing or updating a solar domestic hot water system, and am sure they excel with all renewable energy initiatives.
