I recently had the pleasure of working with Jory from Reno Solar for my home solar installation. From the initial consultation to the final installation, Jory provided top-notch service and answered any questions I had along the way. His knowledge and expertise in the field are truly impressive! The team he worked with was friendly, polite, and courteous, and they did an excellent job of keeping the work area clean and safe during the project. He followed up with me after the installation to check in and make sure everything was working as expected, and he was always quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had. I have had the worst experience with Reno Solar. I was contracted with another company but was upset because they could not get my project done by 12/31 as requested. I contacted Reno Solar and wasn't promised but was told there was a high probability my project could be completed in two weeks. There is no way that could have possibly happened. In my opinion, the sales rep lied to me in order to make the sale. Here we are in February - my panels were installed on Jan 26th and I still have not had an inspection to get them turned on. I understand that the solar project timeline is long - that is not my issue, my issue is that I was told it could be done in 2 weeks which was absolutely not true. I have written emails and called Reno solar and the only person who has contacted me is the sales rep - and he has still not apologized for telling me the project would be done in 2 weeks. He rushed me to sign the contract so that the project could get rolling and then just forgot I was there. I am regretting my decision every time I pull out of my driveway and see my solar panels on my roof. I have even inquired about the cost to remove them as I am 100% done with this company.
