Terrible. They lied about payments and financing, the placement of solar panels, the fact that they would cut down two trees and didn't. They never gave any instructions about electrical boxes or how they work or how to clean panels. When I tried to get a hold of the rep he just ignored me.

Install still not complete and had to hire an electrician
Installed started on March 6th. Installers were for 2 days. Then at end of second day they said the would come back next week. Never have come back still for install to be finished. Plus on top everything else I have triple switches for the kitchen to control dishwasher, garbage disposal and a kitchen light that stopped working. I called installer to let him know and he said were they working before we started and why are telling me 2 days later? You haven't used your dishwasher in 2 days. He was the definition of patronizing. Never the less. I called an electrician to come out and he looked at the breaker box and determined a wire was not tightened down, he said it looks like they tried to put it back but did not complete the circuit. He reinserted wire for $150. Install still not complete and it's almost one month. The salesman that comes to the house; Mckay Erickson is his name is friendly but no help after he signs you up. No communication only text after he leaves your house. This whole process was easy at first but is now a disaster. Still the system of a battery install is not complete. And I've called McKay he won't answer and Solrite is no help because they can't do anything until install is complete. Pure Energy has terrible business practices and a lack of customer service help. Plus the texting me is not helping.

Pure Energy was less than upfront when they sold us our solar system. They said they would take our panels down and store the panels when our roof needs repairs because of a hail storm. They did not mention there is a huge fee and no they do not store the panels. Our system currently has an issue. It is covered under warranty but thus far it has taken more than 6 weeks to just schedule the repair. We will see if the repairs are completed at that time. Because of this technical problem. We are not receiving credit for any of the power we are generating. In hindsight getting solar was a big mistake.

Scammers and terrible communication
This company has the worst communication. I paid for the solar in full and after paying a ton of money, months later my solar panels finally get activated and I find out my electric company has been getting free energy and charging me the same every month. Once they accepted my check, they never bothered to explain anything else to me. I had to leave a bad review for them to contact me and act like they were going to help with all of the issues I was still having getting the solar activated. They barely helped with one issue while I was still facing others and then again abandoned me. How they can treat their customers this way who pay tens of thousands of dollars is beyond reason. I do NOT recommend this shady company if you want to go solar.

Scamming and unprofessional

ARKANSAS SCAM ALERT*
My experience is the exact same as Tim from Arkansas review. Lies after Lies. System does not produce anywhere near what was promised, constantly breaks and phone calls are going unanswered. Was promised my oversized system would power the entire house, yet in reality "When working" it covers the electricity for my refrigerator. Tax credits and incentives are also a joke and lies. The office in Arkansas has since closed down. Now stuck with a 40K loan and a broken system.

Disappointed
I guess you have to live in Lubbock to get good service. It took them several months to get around to installing our system and then it is not working properly. It shows that we only consume from the grid between 10:30 am and 4:30 pm and no other time. My first contact with the office and the salesperson went unanswered. I contacted SolarEdge and they punted it back to Pure Energy with a case number. Then when I contacted the Pure Energy office they said the will let me know when an electrician would be out. My batter has been charging in the morning and discharging through out the day when it shows the spike in usage. This has been going on since they installed the system. Meanwhile, Goodleap is harassing me for a payment that is not even due until March. Pure Energy did a great job swapping out my old electrical box outside and the installation was quick when they finally got around to it. Everyone was nice up until the point where I had problems. Now I am being ignored. I would not recommend this company to anyone at this point. May be if I lived in Lubbock it would be different.

Great local team for solar
If you’re in Texas and you’re looking into solar, Pure Energy is the way to go. The only thing I had to do on my side was provide my electricity usage and they handled the rest of it. I was skeptical on solar at first but I figured why not give them 20 minutes to show me the process. Once they showed me how much I’d be spending on electricity vs solar, I was amazed and mad I didn’t do it sooner. Installation was quick and easy. The app works flawlessly. I’ve already referred a few family members and friends and gotten referral bonuses. I can’t think of a single reason to not go with them. It’s saving me over $1200 a year right now but that’ll start going up as the cost of electricity increases too. Great group and I recommend the Lubbock office 100%.

Great Service Great Product
I googled several companies in the Lubbock TX market! Pure energy was the quickest to respond as well as providing an affordable quote! Rob was helpful and answered all of my questions! The company was professional and friendly! They installed my panels within a day with professionalism and courtesy! Even after installation Pure Energy was helpful to my needs! I highly recommend this company within the Lubbock TX market! On top of this I also got my tax rebate credit which was awesome!!

Amazing Company !
Pure Energy was by far the best . My investment has shown savings over the year I’ve had the system. From install (which was quick) to getting the system turned on was about 2-3 weeks. I love the app that allows me to track my production. Solar was a easy choice when dealing with Pure Energy. The sales rep was very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of mine and my husbands questions. No doubt in my mind that I made the right decision when choosing this company.

Needs to be out of business
We were lied to from day one, and I have proof in writing. They lied about how much we would save, what our tax credits would be, when we would be up and running, and so much more. It took them 7 months to get our solar turned on after installation. We had to constantly hound them and the lady answering the phone lied to us, in an attempt to shut us up. She literally told us that we should be up and running but we just didn't know. They closed down the office in our area and left no warning or information to us who were stuck with a non-working system. Once running we discovered that we are not going to produce anywhere near the electricity we were told. Between the solar panels and our BARELY lower electric bill, we are now going to pay FAR MORE than our old electric bill. Once the panels are paid off we aren't even going to save very much off our bill. We even "oversized" our system. Our neighbors experienced the same issues, so we are not alone in this. They shut down their Arkansas operations (or so they say) and the rep they had running point to fix all issues...stopped answering his phone or returning calls/texts. He is one of several they have had, so i shouldn't be surprised. This company is crooked!! We have all the papers and worksheets from the original sales guys.
