Excellent experience with Public Service Solar.

We had such an excellent experience with Public Service Solar. I started my process with EnergySage and wound up with 4 bids. They were all over the map, but I looked up all the companies, had zoom calls with three of them, and then narrowed it down to Public Service Solar and Infinity Energy. I went with Public Service because they were able to get the job done quickly, and because they had a roofing team as part of their business. They also had the best warranties on everything (roof, work, solar gear). I was also impressed that many of my calls had me talking to the owner/founder of the company, not a lower-level desk jockey. In the end Public Service outperformed all their promises. They got the permits lightning fast, did my roof in a day, and solar install in a 2nd day. The were super professional throughout the process, including placing 2 or 3 follow up calls to make sure everything was satisfactory. They managed the mess of paperwork with the state of NJ to get enrolled in all incentive programs, and one year on, we're saving a ton of money and selling excess production back to the grid. It's proven to be a great financial decision already. Truly I have not had many experiences with major contractors that have been as painless, and I have recommended them personally to several friends and colleagues when they ask me about or solar install.

After much research I selected Public Service Solar to do our install. Their team was great from start to finish. They were honest about the options (including battery) and what capabilities I would and wouldn't get from the system. Their NJ crew came down and did the install in literally 1 day. It was a smooth and fast operation. Have had the system for almost 2 years, no leaks, power output is right on plan, and I only pay the utility line fee these days.

It was a pleasure working with Tony, Mike, and Andrew. Tony was incredibly helpful from day one, guiding me through the entire solar project and answering all of my questions promptly. The installation team was professional, courteous, and kept me informed throughout every stage of the project. Overall, the experience was smooth and exceeded my expectations. Great Experience

I was extremely impressed and pleased with the entire Public Solar team. Everyone involved was professional, while still be pleasurable and easy to work with. I really appreciated the continous updates on the project, the paperwork - handling of permits and applications, and the scheduling. I was very pleased with all 3 crews that worked here at the house from the removal of my old systerm, to the re-roofing of my garage, to the installation of the new system.

No Pressure, Smooth Solar Quote and Installation

Our experience with Public Service Solar has been nothing short of spectacular. From the no-pressure quote process with Bruce, the pre-installation inspection with Joe, the design with Nick and Cole, the permitting process with Stephanie, the installation with [a different] Joe, the post-install inspection with the woman whose name I cannot remember for the life of me, and the follow up with Andrew - everything has been very well communicated, on time and moved along quickly, and truly customer-focused. I like that PSS is local to PA and NJ, that they answered all of my questions without any sales pitch, and have an excellent warranty. They handled all of the permitting and inspections in record time. Our solar panels look great and the monitoring app offers great insights. I've wanted solar for several years now, but I'd always been wary considering some of the stories I've heard about other solar companies. After doing my research, I am so glad we went with PSS and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for solar.

Public Service Solar did an absolutely outstanding job at my home. From start to finish, the entire experience was organized, efficient, and incredibly professional. They sent a team of seven people split into three specialized groups — one working on the roof, one inside the house, and another handling the control box. Watching them operate was impressive; everyone knew exactly what they were doing. They installed 31 solar panels in a single day, and the workmanship is excellent. Even in the winter, I’m already producing close to 72% of the electricity I consume, which is remarkable. I can only imagine how much more I’ll generate once summer arrives. If you’re considering going solar, I highly recommend Public Service Solar. Their expertise, coordination, and quality of work truly stand out.

Had a great experience with PSS

After doing extensive solar research and meeting with several companies, I decided to go with Public Service Solar, it was honestly an easy decision. They hit all the check box’s that were important to me: -Local company with NO subcontractors -Extended warranty on parts and labor -Responsive staff -Excellent solar panel options -Included Enphase consumption monitor -Outstanding pricing I worked with several PSS folks throughout the process. Tony and Bruce were especially knowledgeable and responsive. They answered every single question or concern I had (my house has a fully automatic standby generator). The crew and electrician that did the installation did an amazing job - it looks as good as solar panels can! The included critter guard is both practical AND adds a clean finished look (hides any wires). They completed the install within the estimated time frame, handled all permits and scheduled inspections. They also filed all required documents for my PTO and SREC credits. If you are considering solar (why wouldn’t you) I highly recommend going with PSS.

Public Service Solar is a best quality, experienced, and honest solar installer. I was impressed with everything they did for me. They explained very well the initial estimate and then the final quote. They knew NJ and Edison power rules and regulations. They got my panels installed AHEAD OF SCHEDULE. They had the engineer explain the design and what I should expect from the solar panels. I got a 15 panel installation. I did my research: the panels they used were the among best in the industry (Maxeon). The inverters were also among the best, if not the best. (EnPhase IQ8HC. Not all EnPhase inverters can handle 440 watts!). Public Service Solar has the best warrantee I could find, and the equipment they installed had the best warranty, too. I’m recommending Public Service Solar to my sister in law. Equipment: Maxeon Solar Technologies SPR-MAX3-410-BLK with 40 year Manufacturer Warranty Inverters: 15 Enphase Energy IQ8HC with 25 year Manufacturer Warranty Mounting Hardware: Iron Ridge Mounting Hardware with 25 year Manufacturer Warranty.

Next-Level Quality Integrity: A Highly Recommended Solar Install

I'm an engineer with seriously high standards for quality, and I can't recommend Public Service Solar enough for our roof replacement and solar install. Seriously, they were professional, totally competent, and completely focused on making us happy. If there was a tiny hiccup, they owned it instantly and fixed it flawlessly. What really set them apart was their integrity and smart, technically sound approach. Right off the bat, they were honest enough to say we weren't a good fit because of shade—unlike other companies who just wanted to push huge, pointless systems. The whole team was awesome and super coordinated: Mark (Sales), Jessica (Project Manager) with her amazing communication, Eddy (Roofer) doing top-notch work, Mike (Engineering), and Tony (the Owner) who was always involved and easy to reach. The final setup was technically perfect, totally up to code, used great components, and was a fair price. The support after the installation is honestly unmatched. After we got a generator installed by a third party, Mike actually sent a technician out at no charge just to inspect the solar wiring, even though they're located pretty far from us. That's next-level service.

The entire Public Service team guided me every step of the way. Each member was incredibly helpful, answered all of my questions, and kept me informed throughout the whole process. I truly appreciated their support.

Top notch outfit.

First of all, Public Service Solar provided one of best proposals in the bunch. I was impressed by their choice of materials including 420 KW Panasonic panels and Iron Ridge roof mounting hardware, recognized as among the best in the industry. Last thing you want is leaks! This is clearly a top notch professional outfit. They provided an app to keep you informed on the progress of the project and later for monitoring your solar panel output. I’m waiting to see how the latter functions. The installers did an excellent job. It was evident these guys knew what they were doing. Very efficient. I particularly like the concealed electrical connections between panels on adjacent roof sections and the critter guards which provides a cleaner finished look. Those metal pipes can be quite unsightly on top of your house. Anyway, I’m glad I selected PPS .

Good Company

I would recommend Public Service Solar to anyone looking for a solar roof. It was a good experience from start to finish. During the planning phase they answered all of my questions. The work was very professional. Also compared to other installs that I have seen while driving around mine was very clean looking, not a lot of conduit running all over. and when they were done it was like they were never here, no mess whatsoever!

Knowledgeable, Competent, Responsive, and Cost Effective

Public Service Solar (PSS) was a pleasure to work with throughout our home solar journey. We initially got connected via EnergySage after they provided a competitive bid, which we subsequently reviewed with an EnergySage Energy Advisor. The 1 day installation was done without issue and we've been producing power for over 1 month now. PSS handled all of the township and utility applications and permits and kept us well informed about the process and progress. The Public Service Solar app is a great way to track project progress, solar generation, and for making referrals to friends and neighbors.

We had a new roof and solar system installed. Both were completed on the scheduled days and in the expected time. The rest of the project was completely turn key and super easy.

Outstanding company and outstanding product! From the initial consultation phase my sales rep (Alex) was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions accurately. They had a great financing company and options too! once we signed, the communication was very professional. They were there when they said they would be and the installation was the best I have ever seen. I had one small issue (that was not their doing) but they came out quickly, communicated the problem and made a repair timely. Never had the issue again!
