We had a great experience, exploring all the possibilities of solar with Power NW. It's obvious Chris knows the landscape (and all the details)! With his help, we determined our specific location was not a good fit for solar, but there was no pressure to buy. Just a ton of helpful information, timely responses to questions, and clear conversations. We would highly recommend working with Chris and Power NW to see if solar power makes sense for you.

My husband and I took a long time shopping around for solar. Something about most solar companies felt so smarmy and untrustworthy. That coupled with horror stories online had us really dragging our feet, even though outrageous power bills were decimating our budget. Finally we talked to Vander at Power NW. It was a breath of fresh air. No gimmicky sales tactics like calling their supervisor to "approve" some rate that was actually still over market, no bad talking other solar companies, and he was the first person to actually look at our roof/crawl space/power box for initial viability. The best part is that Vander offered the largest solar offset of our power use by far. Once installation got started with Erik and team, it was fast and painless. The team was here for 2 days. Everyone I interacted with was super nice and helpful. There were no hitches in getting inspections or anything like that. Now that it has been installed and running for a couple weeks, we are actually producing more than they had estimated. It's always a great idea to underpromise and overdeliver. We couldn't be happier with the promise and would recommend this company to everyone!

These guys have got it down, from start to finish. They walk you through the entire process. There is an app that allows you to follow the progress. Very communicative, from Beginning to end. Everyone was polite and worked hard. Really enjoyed working with Power Northwest! A huge shout out to the team...Erik, Jonny, Ted, Han, Jose, Patrick and Alayna! All very professional and friendly.

Power Northwest did a great presentation of the solar product, made a competitive offer and did a great job installing the product. We were very pleased with all aspects of the process.

One of our solar panels was damaged when a tree fell on our house during the January windstorm. Michael and Tedd showed up on time to replace the panel. They were courteous and friendly. Michael noticed several holes in the roof of our deck. There was even a branch impaled in the roof. (The roof inspector who had come the month before said there was no damage from the storm.) Michael went out of his way to remove the branch, fill in the holes and mark the spots for our roof repair person. We appreciate this extra service that was not part of his job. The newly installed solar panel is working great. Power Northwest does a great job communicating with the client. We are very pleased with their work.

It all started with Dan Trqacy coming out to my house and sitting at the picnic table outside -- his laptop open showing me what all is involved with adding a solar system to my home. I wanted to decrease my electric bill because rates were increasing every year. But I knew little about solar. Power Northwest explained everything in simple language and I was on board. One myth he busted for me for that my house gets too much shade. He showed me how the sun travels over my house and where the solar panels would go. Power Northwest is local. They are easy to work with. They explain things simply. The workmanship and installation of the solar panels on my roof and the power box was professional. It was easy peasey -- and my bills are so much lower. And it's good for the environment.

Hi: We had Power Northwest install solar panels on our house last year and powerwalls this year. They are fantastic to work with. They know their products, answer questions fully and completely and their project management is excellent. If they are not sure of something, they research it and get back to you. They show up when expected and call if running late (this did not happen often). All of their personnel are courteous and polite, very aware they are doing things to your home and want to minimize the inconvenience. And, everything works as it should...has been a really great experience and we are now able to store power that we generate from our panels!! If you are thinking about moving into solar and are in the area, I would highly recommend you call Power Northwest for a meeting!

NW Power is one of the best contractors I have ever worked with, from the first contact, to the install and final payment. We were not interested in a loan and they were one of two companies that did not push that aspect of the project. We liked the design, every person we interacted with was knowledgeable, the installers we very efficient and careful with my landscaping. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

The crew did a fabulous job installing the solar panels on my steep townhouse roof in hot weather. Every PNW touch point with me and my HOA conveyed the positive ambassadorship of their company culture. As a retired Organization Development consultant, that’s something to be very proud of as a company and confident in as a customer.

Power Northwest installed a Tesla Powerwall 2 to supplement my existing Tesla 24 panel solar panels. I recently experienced an estimated 4 hour PGE power outage. The Powerwall 2 performed beautifully, picking up the house load without the lights blinking or the computers going down. I was informed of the outage by my Tesla App. The solar panels kept my Powerwall 2 at 100 percent charge even with my heat pump AC and oxygen concentrator.

I'm very happy with the Tesla Roof Power Northwest installed! They made the process simple and easy. Ethan kept me up to date during every step of the process and worked hard to complete the project promptly despite supply delays from the manufacturer. All the crews were friendly and easy to work with. They were very knowledgeable and took the time to answer any questions I had. I just can't say enough good about this company! I'll use them again if I get the chance to install another roof!

Through all this, having one person to talk to was important and very helpful. No handoffs. The whole process took more time than I expected. The solar took about 2 months longer than expected. The battery took about 2 months LESS than expected. So, on balance, very good.

We received Power Northwest and two other names from PGE's website. We spoke and received quotes from all three of the companies. Power Northwest's bid was competitive and the proposal they sent was well presented and showed they had spent time reviewing our home. We chose Power Northwest after a Zoom call and have been happy with our decision. We had some time challenges with Portland's approval process that they were able to navigate. Our system works well and we highly recommend them.

Power Northwest was great to work with. From the beginning with the online initial meeting, they answered my million questions without missing a beat and were very knowledgeable to help me make a decision between several other offers. I like that they are a local company based here in Portland. Whenever there was an issue they were quick to get it resolved and we're pretty communicative throughout the process and got the job done much faster than I was expecting.

I agree with previous reviewers. This company went above and beyond every step of the way. Mike was a wealth of knowledge and answered my hundreds of questions. The level of knowledge he had regarding solar far exceeded anyone else I spoke to from other companies. He was never pushy or tried to talk me into anything, just simply provided easy to understand information that allowed my to make an educated decision. While Power Northwest was not the absolute lowest quote, they were by far the best value of the 5 companies I looked at. A detailed examination of our roof was performed. The install team stealthily put up our panels and left no sign that they were even there. Communication was outstanding every step of the way. Also appreciate that they use USA made panels. I would give Power Northwest my highest recommendation without reservation. Don't give it a second thought.

Extremely helpful and quick to respond to any sort of questions or problems. There was initially an issue where the solar panels we discussed and reviewed were no longer being manufactured and the Power Northwest team worked hard to find a suitable replacement on short notice. I'm happy with how everything went and would gladly recommend them to anyone looking to get solar panels.

Power Northwest is a good group to work with. Some of the groups, (like county etc) are in no hurry to do their parts. I think I had to wait 3 weeks for the county to approve the plan and then the county had to come out an examine to work took they a week to come out and inspect. once the county did their part, Power Northwest had the system up and running in one day. Now the system is up and running.

Very impressed with the entire team of Power Northwest in handling our rooftop solar installation this past summer. From sales to project management to installation, they were all very professional and conscientious. Having worked for 2 different solar companies and as a former solarized homeowner back when we lived in Colorado,, I'm familiar with the industry as well as its challenges, and Power Northwest is a top notch company. Their professionalism has been demonstrated in their physical work as well as their communications with us as the homeowners. We look forward to installing the battery storage system in the near future!

We decided to add solar to our home in northeast Portland. Paul and Anna were quick to respond and very helpful with putting a plan in place. Solar panels arrived on schedule. Garrett and his team were fast and thorough. Our electric bill is now just the "basic charge". We're very pleased and highly recommend the team from Power Northwest.

Power NW’s team worked so hard on our project. It was complicated and took coordination with an outside electrician, Tesla, and PGE during the pandemic. It is up and running and ready for this ice storm. They did a great job for us!

I'm not one to typically leave reviews. But this company deserves a little shout out. Power Northwest is simply the best!  They were very knowledgeable, easy to work with (answering my million and one questions), and competitively priced.  I did a ton of research and they truly offered the best system at a very fair price.  They also made the entire process easy from start to finish.   After working with them I got the feeling that they had my best interests in mind.  Without even asking, Power Northwest designed an array that would be efficient and aesthetically pleasing. As much as I love the idea of solar, I was a little worried that the panels would stick out like a sore thumb. I couldn't have been more wrong.  They explained some of the features that make them unique and it was stuff I would not have even thought of.  For example, they ran all of the wiring so that it was hidden as opposed to running it across the roof.  They explained that this was more difficult and took more time, but that it was important to them that the finished product looked great.  They also offer a 10 year Production Guarantee which means that when they estimated the return on my system if it ever falls short of what they say it'll produce, they will pay us back for any shortages on production.  It made me feel safe, knowing that they truly stand behind their designs. Absolutely a pleasure to work with.  Could not be happier. Now I don't feel as guilty having 10,000 Christmas lights strung up around my house :-)  I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Garrett and team were organized, thorough, and provided great communication all the way through. Each one of my questions regarding hardware/installation were answered before writing a check. I never felt like I was being 'up-sold' or talked into a system that wasn't appropriate for our needs. They took care of all the paperwork, permits, and rebates - very little effort on my part. Really impressed with the install: it looks very clean and they had it done within a day. They even setup the monitoring software for me. Highly recommend

I worked with Eddy Rodriguez and Garrett Hartwell from PowerNW. I was immediately impressed that both Eddie and Garrett were incredibly knowledgeable about the end to end process and there was no pressure whatsoever about making a decision. They took the time to explain the process, materials, timelines to expect, costs, and rebates available and were always available via both email and phone for follow up questions as I became comfortable with their company. I took 6 weeks to get quotes from 4 different companies, and ultimately, I chose PowerNW because of the personal attention I felt Garrett would provide to ensure a great experience. Price - they were very competitive and made sure I understood the impacts of both the Oregon Energy Trust rebate and the Federal Tax Credit. Communication - this was a key deal maker. They were always available to answer questions. They called ahead to confirm appointments and arrival times during installation and inspections. Installation experience - Called ahead to confirm arrival. Team arrived on time. And were super efficient to get the work done. Covid-19 - Team showed up masked and gloved. The 1 person in the attic was respectful of no-shoes stance. I was 100% comfortable with their approach for Covid safety and respect of my home and family. Workmanship - Explained ahead of time what they would be doing on the roof, garage, and attic. Team showed up on time. No mess. Super efficient. Overall satisfaction - They were great, and I would recommend them to anyone considering installing solar to their home or business.
