Reliable
I wanted to upgrade my system which had 10 panels. I went to Energy Sage and got three offers. I went to the Tesla website and ran scenarios. Bill was the original installer seven years ago and he was able offer me a small upgrade for a reasonable price. It took a while because the new panels needed to match up. The original job was well done and this looks good for now. The parts and labor are warrantied so it's good. If Bill is still around here in 15 years, I might call him again.

Very satisfied, great service, nice people
We have had our solar system for about 10.5 years and the inverter was not working well any more. I had ordered a new inverter on a Black Friday special and Pacific Pro Solar was recommended to me. I called Bill at Pacific Pro solar. He right away arranged for Oscar to come out within just a few days to install the new unit. I am very satisfied with the quick service, good price and very nice people at Pacific Pro Solar.

Fast, Fair, and Skilled
I live in a landmarked 1939 mini estate. I was very pleased in using Bill and his great team for several reasons: We wanted an esthetically pleasing roof. It meant that as much as possible (and due to the configuration of my house), we wanted a design that didn't ruin the visual of my house. We worked with Bill and came up with a design that basically hides any sign of solar panels. While there were some sacrifices to the efficiency, Bill "got it" and did a great job. He also handled the LADWP paperwork and rebates as well as the permitting. I've recommended him to several other homeowners. He just came back to add another 6 panels (45 total!) he set up the web ap to monitor everything as well. Lastly: DO NOT LEASE A SOLAR SYSTEM! If a guy shows up with a swanky white truck and a clipboard...RUN. You will be paying for his salary and everyone elses back at the office (Appointment setters, phone salespeople etc) Instead: BUY the equipment yourself with a loan or low interest credit card and hire an installer. I received quotes for 60-95K and wound up getting my system done for under 35K. Ask Bill for my number if you want more testimonial. Namaste!

Outstanding Service, Product, Timeliness of Install, Price
I spent months checking out more than ten solar providers. Everyone tells you something different. Not Bill Nuttall at Pacific Pro Solar. I am so pleased that I chose them to do my solar install. Very knowledgeable about the products available. His installer did a fabulous job. Would absolutely recommend Pacific Pro Solar. Don't waste your time shopping around. I did it for you! Thanks again Bill.

Very Pleased With Our New Solar System
After going through a lot of different solar providers for proposals, we chose Pacific Pro Solar. The President, Bill Nuttall, was straightforward, honest, and extremely helpful with our solar proposal. All commitments for our contract, installation date, inspections, etc. were met on time. Additionally, the installer, Oscar, was amazing. He showed up on time, was very friendly, informative, and efficient. He continually gave us updates on the project and what to expect next. All of us deal with different contractors when we have home projects. Bill and Pacific Pro Solar ranks as one of the most reliable contractors we have experienced and we highly recommend Pacific Pro Solar to anyone considering a solar system for their home or business.

Excellent equipment and service
After speaking with several solar installers I chose Pacific Pro Solar based on price, equipment offered, and online reviews by others. They installed a 4.4 kw system with 14 panels. I was very pleased with the process and I recommend Pacific Pro to anyone wanting a solid installation for a good price.

I Had A Great Experience With Pacific Pro Solar
I had a great experience with Pacific Pro Solar Group. They just completed the installation of a 14-panel system using LG panels with a SolarEdge central inverter. It's now up and producing all my electricity needs. Bill Nuttal, the owner, dealt with me directly. He gave me a competitive price and helped answer my questions about the best system for my house and energy usage. Once I made the decision to accept his proposal, his contract was a one-page document which was very straight forward and understandable. Installation was simple and uncomplicated, and was finished in 3 working days. Oscar, the project foreman, visited my house for an inspection prior to ordering materials to make sure the layout was correct. They worked in a two person crew. The first day of installation was electrical, the second day was racking and the third day was assembly of the roof panels. The crew cleaned up after themselves each day so you could barely tell they were here. The last step was the City inspection and Oscar was was well prepared. The inspection went flawlessly and later that day I stared receiving emails from San Diego Gas & Electric letting me know that I was approved. Two days later I was making my own energy and selling power back to the utility. If you want to be happy with a new solar system, call Bill Nuttal at Pacific Pro Solar Group, Inc., at (951) 689-0737 or via e-mail at billnuttall@pacificprosolar.com.

Highly Recommend
This company was referred to me by a major solar supplier. They had received favorable feedback from their customers. After comparing their prices to many other installers, I couldn't be more delighted with the deal I received. I was glad to have used Pacific Pro Solar. They were extremely professional, caring and diligent and affordable. 7600 watt of solar installed and completed within a week. My first bill was under $14 because I need to stop laundry and running my pool pump at night! I also received a follow up call from the owner asking how everything was running and set me up whereby I can monitor my system from my smart phone. Overall a very positive experience and I would certainly recommend this company to anyone interested in solar.

Like Companies that existed 50 years ago, but no more
Ability, Honesty, Trust, Dependability, Follow-through, Professional, Attention to Detail, Service after Sales. These are all qualities I experienced in my dealings with Pacific Pro Solar. They listened, asked questions, ensured that their product matched my power needs, handled all details associated with my panel installation i.e. permits, delivery, installation, inspection, final power company authorization, etc. You don't run into this kind of company much anymore, unfortunately. Their customer service goes beyond what is expected in today's world. It's the kind of service I saw growing up in the 1950's, but seldom see today. Great job in every way! Jason, Bill, Joey, Oscar, and crew did a super job from stgart to finish. It was pleasure working with you guys. Thanks, Dale Brown

A great experience
Pacific Pro Solar is amazing, on time, on estimate and on top of it. Five Stars plus. From the Estimator to the installers, perfect. This was by far the best contractor I have ever dealt with. Easy transaction for me as well as those I have referred. Do yourself a favor don't use anyone else.

These guys are the best!
We have a small (1600 s.f.) house that is 6 years old and well insulated, which is to say, we don't use a lot of electricity (5,000 Kwh/year approx.) Most solar companies weren't even interested in talking to us, but we wanted a solar system primarily because we feel it is important environmentally. I called Bill and he said, "Of course" and installed 12 panels on our roof (and gave us choices of different styles) and has worked with SCE getting us all hooked up. The installation was painless, the installers even painted the exterior box and conduit to match the house. The installer also had to wait about 5 hours for the inspector to show up -- no complaints from him either. You can't go wrong with this company -- knowledgable, honest, and the price is right.

From skeptic to true believer in solar
Well I was a total skeptic in solar power when my husband approached me about purchasing solar panels for our house. I agreed to sit and listen but I demanded we talk to at least 6 companies. I also researched everything myself and realized if we did go with solar we had to own it since we will own this house for at least 6-7 more years. I grilled every company that wanted to sell or lease us solar. The fact that I am a CPA I wanted hard data to prove how much we would save and what we would would great back for solar incentive. There was only one company that o couldn't trip up. Bill from Pacific Pro Solar was able to answer all my questions, walk me through exactly how much we would save and technically why we would save it. He suggested the type of panels that would be best for us and how many we could install. Based on the number of panels and where we should install them we could optimize solar power intake. From skeptic to believer. The panels were installed in one day (all 23 of them). We were hooked up and ready to see savings. The first full month we had the solar panels installed we had dropped our bill more than $450.00 from the our bill same time last year and $470.00 from the previous month. I was a true believer. We have gone from an electric bill as high as $800 in the summer months and $400 during winter months to owing $9 to $45 (during the winter when we get less sun). I even called our electric company to confirm there always that some kind of mistake and even they said they couldn't believe the solar power was able to drop our bills this low. I am a true believer in Pacific Pro Solar. They are the only company that has the best panels that capture the most solar energy possible. The other companies can capture solar over a 6-7 year period that then pays itself off. We will have paid for the panels with our energy savings within 3-4 years at this rate. If I could rate Pacific Pro Solar ten stars I would. Highly recommended by us. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Great system at a fantastic price!
I had solar panels installed on my primary home and then shortly thereafter moved to a new house. Solar is a fantastic way to help the environment and at the right price can be a sound investment for your home, so there was no question as to whether or not I was going to install solar on the new home. My new house, however, is twice as big as my old one and needed a system about twice the size. Concerned about costs, I started looking into installing the panels myself. After deciding which panels I wanted and just before pulling the trigger on purchasing the DIY system I started looking for an electrician to do the final part of the installation - the service panel connection. I contacted several electricians through Yelp and every single one of them said they will not do the final connection on a DIY solar installation. My wife is on a local mom's group on Facebook and asked for help there. Within just a couple days I had a conversation with Bill from Pacific Pro Solar and we talked at length about my needs. He was enthusiastic to help me and said he could help with any portion I needed done, from the most minimal amount of work to a full turnkey installation. We went back and forth for some time and Bill helped me explore a number of options before we settled on a full service installation. From our first conversation Bill was very relaxed and professional, I never had any question as to his ability to manage this operation. The two guys who did the majority of the labor were polite and easy to deal with. I didn't interact with them much because they were mostly on the roof, but when I did talk to them it was quite pleasant. We missed one day of work because of rain and the next day the guys were right back at it. Everything from the initial contact, to the design of the system, financing, installation and interconnection went swimmingly. Oh, and the price was good, too. This system is twice the size of my previous install and I only paid about 40% more than the previous system. To say that I highly recommend Pacific Pro Solar would be an understatement. I strongly urge anyone who has ever thought about solar to contact these guys. You will be pleased with the results!

Great Company
This is my second time using Bill with Pacific Pro Solar; He was that good. I highly recommend this company because of their professional installation and honest sale. I wasn't up-sold, asked to do a lease (which is never the right choice), or pressured into any particular product. He presented all my options and let me choose. He beat every other company I got quotes from. BY A LOT.... I will continue to recommend Pacific Pro Solar to all my friends and coworkers. I can't say enough about how happy I am with his customer service and professionalism. A+

Happy Customer
When I got solar, it took a while. Fortunately the owner of Pacific Pro Solar named Bill took care of everything. First was applying for the solar rebate through the city. Then he dealt with the planning/building permits department for the city and the utilities department; which is also owned by the city. He kept me updated every step in the process. Once everything was done, it looked good. I am glad Bill turned me on to the Sun Module Plus SW 280 Mono Black Solar World solar panels. They look a lot better on the roof then the aluminum colored ones. Also, Bill showed me were the solar panels would be located on the roof to make sure I was ok with their location. Since Bill was also a licensed electrician for many years, I had him upgrade my electrical panel from 100W to 200W. This allows me to run 240 in the garage for a charging station and in the laundry room if I ever decide to switch the dryer to electric. Below are the steps I took when I selected Pacific Pro Solar to install my solar: 1. I got three bids. All home improvement shows and financial personalities always say to get at least three bids. Pacific Pro Solar was in the middle of the three bids. 2. I own the solar, I did not lease. Leases can be from 10 to 30 years depending on amount spent on the solar. I did not lease because if in the future I decide to sell the home, I do not have to get the new owners approved for the same leasing program and the leasing agreements were confusing. I am a person if I do not understand something I stay away. 3. Google or go to the California Contractors State Licensing board to make sure the person who is doing the work is licensed, bonded and has workman’s compensation. Bill at Pacific Pro Solar contractor’s license number is 951776. There were no complaints and everything was current. 4. If you are a techie or like technology, make sure you get some kind of program to monitor how much electricity is produced every day. I got the Enphase Enlighten Manager. There is no monthly fee and I also downloaded the app to my phone. Enlighten Manager has a graph that shows how much solar is generated every 15 minutes, shows the placement of your solar panels, and also shows how long certain items can run (fridge, Eiffel Tower, etc) on the amount the electricity generate by the solar. Enlighten Manager also emails Bill if there is a solar panel problem.

16-Panel Array with Microinverters - Top Notch Job
Bill at Pacific Pro is a pretty unique guy. In an industry overrun by people pushing leased rooftop solar like used cars, Bill stands out as a straight-shooter. He confirmed my assumption that it made a lot more sense to buy our system rather than lease, and helped me decide what sort of system to install. I'd done a lot of research before calling various solar panel installers, and Pacific Pro was the only one I found who would actually engage in a thoughtful discussion about what would be best for our home and electrical needs. Looking back through old emails, I first contacted Pacific Pro Solar in late February 2015. By mid-March, we'd decided on an appropriate system, and by early April, all of the paperwork was in process and work began on the install. Bill and his guys got the panels up and connected in short order. I think the actual install of racking and 16 panels, microinverters, and wiring took less than two days. After that, they upgraded my old "bulldog" push-button 100 amp panel to a new 200 amp panel and connected everything. The system was ready to produce on April 21, and we got our net metering agreement finalized a couple of weeks later. It all went a lot faster than I had thought it would. 8 months later, everything is just working. So far we've put almost 5 megawatt-hours back into the grid. We've had no trouble at all. All in all, a great experience. I would not hesitate to recommend Pacific Pro. Oh, and the price quoted for the job was a good deal less than anyone else. A real win-win!

Review of Pacific Pro Solar
Working with Bill was an absolute pleasure. He worked tirelessly to get the Edison Rebate, the permits from the city and the final inspection. Both my husband and I were very pleased.

HAPPY WITH BILL AT PAC PRO
Bill did a good job on our solar system install. He was on time and took care of all paperwork, SCE filings, etc. Referred him to my next door neighbor who will be having Bill install their system soon. Another friend is in the process of talking with Bill as well. Easy/no pressure sales approach and excellent follow up. My first electric bill after solar installed was $1.40....which was for SCE billing fees. I would recommend at least giving Bill the opportunity to earn your business if solar is in your plans. Also love the Enlighten computer program which allows me to view my systems performance on my laptop. Good stuff!!.

Hiring a local, family owned, contractor was important to me. Dealing with Bill was a pleasure. I always felt he was giving me good info and a fair price. Nice, neat installation...works great. Love the Enphase inverters!

Bill at Pacific Pro Solar was a great contractor. I refer him to all my friends because he was professional, efficient, and most of all, honest. I was happy with the price because it made it practical to do the solar and the worksmanship was excellent. I would recommend Pacific Pro Solar. He made it easy on me and is probably going to have to wait to be paid by Edison...which always takes longer than expected.

Bill with Pacific Pro Solar Group, Inc. played a huge role in designing the system for our home. He explained how the installation was going to be coordinated with the roofing contractor and the timeline they planned on following. The installers took a little longer than expected to install the system because they paid so much attention to the details that really make our system look great. They also designed and installed the system so that it can be expanded in the future when we decide to add more panels. The monitoring unit they installed is connected to the internet so we can view the system performance at any time, from any place which is nice for peace of mind and so we can show it off to our friends and family. We plan on expanding the system in the future and will definitely use Pacific Pro Solar Group, Inc. to install that system as well. They did a great job. Pacific Pro Solar Group, Inc. handled all of the permitting, inspections, rebate paperwork, etc. They filled it out, and turned it in. All we had to do was read and sign the documents. They also offered to receive the rebate so that the contract would only be for the net amount, but we declined.
