I had a great experience with these folks. They were professional and personable at the same time. They did not push a hard sell, promptly responded to all my communications and all around were fantastic dealing with the city officials and SCE. I have had the panels installed and running for over a year and everything is still running well.

My husband and I both heard about the terrible experiences going solar. But with our SCE bill hitting over $400 in the summer we figured the risk was worth the reward. We weren't sure who to ask with our questions so we contacted a few companies that had great reviews. After comparing all the various solar companies we opted for Forme Solar due to their warranty and experience with solar repair. Well, it was the best thing we ever did. Going solar has cut our utility bill to a fraction of what it once was and we have a pool and two AC units. The customer service and installation was fast and responsive. I am very pleased with our solar system and would get it installed again with Forme Solar.

We have a $500 electricity bill and was looking to various ways to reduce our costs. We tried everything but our bills just keeps rising so we decided that solar finally made sense. We had Forme Solar come out to do a home energy audit and figure out how much it would cost to go solar and how much we could save on our electricity bills. My neighbor referred me to Forme Solar and I'm glad that she did. At first when I was shopping I was bombarded by solar companies trying to send me a quote or come to my home. Working with Forme was straight forward and they sent me a quote the same day. They came and installed solar panels on my home and it went off without a hitch. They arrived in the morning and finished before lunchtime. The panels and system looks great! Better than I could have imagined. Forme Solar has been great for coordinating all the tasks along the way, including pushing our HOA for their approval, to handling all the paperwork, and scheduling everything necessary to make sure it was completed. Donnee, their solar technician helped make sure that I downloaded the solar monitoring app to see that my solar energy system was working properly. I can now track how much electricity my solar panels are producing. Everything went very smooth and I would highly recommend them based on the installation. The city reviewed the installation in a week, and we pass the first time.

The finished job was professional, from the conduit to installing 28 solar panels on the roof. I couldn't believe that they could have gotten all that work done in just 5 hours. They were very clean and never had to step inside my house. Cleaned up everything, including sweeping out my garage. I am giving them a 5 star review so far.

Was impressed with the professionalism and the quality of this company. Forme Solar installed our system a few months ago but I was suddenly having an issue. Found out a recent power surge blew a fuse. They came by the next day to check on the system and fix the connection. No charge! Was nice to know that I could call them when something went wrong.

Picked them because they made it easy. Love my solar energy system. Forme Solar did a solid job installing solar panels on my roof. Next step is to add solar batteries. Considering the Tesla POWERWALL.

I wasn't totally sold on the idea of solar power for our home when my husband and I first discussed it. The Forme Solar Electric representatives we're helpful in articulating the benefits and most importantly the costs. Throughout the process they were patient and professional, keeping us updated with any changes. Our installation was delayed until we fixed the roof shingles. They were able to help us with that, which made dealing with the process easier. Now that our solar system is up and running we love seeing the saving. Happy with the system and the customer service we received from Forme.

Just got my first electric bill and it was less than $30! We are so excited because we never really cared about our electricity costs before. But right now it feels like every dollar really counts. The timing for the system couldn’t have been better, and just thankful that it is currently on and working.

I live in a super old home with lots of issues and so I was debating if I should go solar. I heard that it would present a lot of challenges due to the layout and the condition of our roof. Forme Solar was the only one willing to tackle the challenge at a cost that made sense for us. They got our solar panels installed ahead of schedule and looks amazing compared to the others systems that I've seen. Process: Everything went smoothly even after the contract was signed. They helped us with our permits, the city inspection and submitting my tax refund. I was constantly kept updated as to when I needed to be home, and the documents I needed to review. Glad we ended up going solar, and was satisfied with how the solar installation project turned out.

The Forme Solar staff (Leanne, Mark, Donnee and Nick) considered our electricity needs and educated us about our solar energy options of the solar installation. After reviewing 5 estimates of potential solar options based on our energy consumption, we made a financially and environmentally prudent decision and installed 13 solar panels and a Solaredge inverter. Forme Solar Electric accommodated our schedule for installation, helped us with the solar rebate program, the associated costs of ownership, and handled all of the city permits. They were courteous and we passed inspection the first time. Donnee and Nick were cheerful, prompt and communicated efficiently and effectively with clear with instructions and explanations.

After my neighbor installed his solar system and starting raving about it, I thought that I would look into it. After a bit of research, consultations after consultations, and a few quotes I ended up going with Forme Solar Electric. They offered a great price, better than my neighbors! Once we decided to go with Forme, the process went fairly quickly. I will say it was a bit of a longer process than I thought. There were a few complications that we had to overcome. Dealing with the HOA really extended out the timeframe. My neighbor finished his solar installation in 4 months after he got permission from the HOA, mine only took 4 weeks. It feels nice that I was able to reap the benefits of solar much faster. I'm thrilled with how my system is performing and love checking out the production numbers daily. We ended up going with forme solar after meeting with 6 other companies. It took a while to finally decide on a solar installer and why Forme Solar was the best option since it almost felt like comparing apples to oranges. After the 5th proposal, I realized that no two solar system proposals were alike. The placement, cost, and size varied a lot, so I figured that I would have to standardize the system and cost. I used an 8.72kwh system as my baseline and figured a range of $24k - $31k for the same sized system. When I factored in financing the system, which ranged from 3% - 9%, I was able to narrow down my choices to Forme Solar. With their cost and financing, they provided terms that the others couldn’t beat. They recommended all 335 all black panels from Q Cells. Then panels turned out really nicely, they look great.

After receiving and comparing 5 proposals from different solar companies we picked Orme Solar. We compared everything from price, recommended system size, licenses, location, install experience, and reputation. My hesitation with Orme Solar was that the recommended system size was on the larger side and their experience. But after speaking with Nick, and seeing their work I could see how their experience speaks for itself. Thinking back, we are glad that we went with the larger size since we know that our usage is only going to go up in the future. I’m even starting to regret not getting a bigger size! We highly recommend Orme Solar from how they originally designed the system to the quality of how they installed our solar panel system. They did great work for us. Installation was completed in one day! LOVE my new solar system! Nick at Orme Solar made sure that the job went smoothly, and that the system looked good! He went above and beyond the call of duty, providing white glove quality service. So very pleased - no money out of pocket - just my monthly predictable electric bill which is 32% less than my current SCE bill! I find that to be a win/win. I used to work in construction, so I can be very fussy when it comes to hiring contractors. I know the difference between a decent job and a great one. From start to finish, I was impressed with Orme Solar from the way they communicated to how they executed. They did a comprehensive review of my roof and found some problems that I hadn't discovered. They then provided a professional estimate and proposal with multiple options around quality and price. Just a reroof, or reroof plus solar. I decided to bundle in solar with the roofing because I could bundle together the tax credit, and they offered roofing materials that were made to work well together - rather than piece together a solution only using the cheapest materials. I knew that I was getting quality with how they spoke about how to bundle together the roofing with solar, the aesthetics and the cost difference. Once we settled on the right type of materials for our roof and solar, they scheduled the job quickly. On the scheduled day, they arrived on time and completed the entire roofing work and solar installation in one day. They also improved the ventilation, properly vented the bathroom fans, replaced any rotten deck and fascia boards, and sealed and caulked well. At cleanup they picked up every spec of debris. They went over the entire yard...twice, picking up stray nails, trash, and scrap materials. You couldn't even tell that they had been there. I wouldn't call anyone else for solar installation or reroof. They did a great job at a reasonable price.

The Orme solar team was absolutely fantastic. They got all 37 of our solar panels on our roof in a day! Talked to a coworker who also went solar, and how they've ran into delays because their installers kept pushing back the install and missed inspection. Didn't think that the solar installer would matter that much, but glad we found Orme! Especially with the expiring tax credit, we are glad that everything went as planned. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Searched for a solar installer in Los Angeles that could do a commercial project. Went on Yelp and called a few places, and found Orme Solar. When it rained in Los Angeles, they made sure to tarp the areas that were being worked on. WIth the recent rain, was able to see their quality of work and loved the fact that we had NO LEAKS! They were one of the few installers who could not only install commercial but also specialized in solar and roof repair. It is great to get that peace-of-mind that our installation and future maintenance would be taken care of.

Going solar took longer than expected but Orme Solar was great with their follow up.

Wanted to go solar and we were able to get our solar panels installed promptly. Joaquin was professional and thorough. No mess, no hassles. Showed up on time as promised.

Fortunately, we installed solar panels and a battery last month, so we were not affected by the recent outage. I am not very good at English and I am very happy that Orme introduced me to Korea and installed a very good system at a reasonable price. The solar process had it's problems, but Orme did a great job communicating the updates to my installation. We are now enjoying the benefits of solar, and it's cool to see the numbers going up when my system is generating me $$$$.

Love the savings, hate the hype. Researched what it meant to go solar and spoke with various solar companies. I learned two things. 1. Solar companies really range in terms of their knowledge and 2. The promise of solar is overhyped. The full benefits of going solar can't be achieved without a battery option....isn't the idea of solar to automatically charge my home when my power goes out? Quotes including a solar battery just didn’t make enough sense. When we finally decided to go solar, we picked Orme due to the combination of knowledge and competitive price. I’m seeing an immediate reduction on my electricity costs. Which is great since I’ll need every penny I can get my hands on to add on a battery backup. Would use Orme again when we decide to make that addition.

Hired Orme Solar for our solar installation, as their proposal did a great job of matching our needs. The difference maker for us was how knowledgable and thorough they were with explaining all of the costs associated with going solar. We hate surprises, and so it really helped to see everything so well mapped out.

I am a total shopper when it comes to large purchases and I am so glad I did with solar for my home. I received 5 bids, about a million phone calls, and 4 out of 5 might as well have been the same company. Same pitch, same approach, wildly different price points. They all tried to sell me based on the number of panels I could get for my money and all of them claimed to have the best equipment. Only one company, ORME Solar, started first by explaining to me why I needed more than 100% offset and why equipment didn't matter until I first had a system design that delivered what I needed. Once I knew what my production target was, the goal was to reach that number at the lowest cost. Once I saw what I could do with their base panel at 305 watts, it was up to me to decide if I wanted a more recognizable brand like LG. Leanne, my sales rep, showed me the spec sheets for all the major brands and helped me realize that aside from the name, there was very little difference in performance, unless 1-3% over 25 years matters to you. Super informative and super competitive. These guys are true pros.

I've been interested in adding solar to my home for awhile now, but no one I talked to really wanted to share that much information with me about the requirements and the reason why people choose to buy vs lease. The folks at Orme Solar were super patient with me and made sure I knew what I was getting into before I signed anything. They didn't bother me with a ton of phone calls and I ended up getting a great deal on a purchase since I could really use the 30% tax credit. Cool company. My tax situation is complex but Leanne worked with my CPA to find the best option for me to go solar. Even my accountant was impressed. They were great to work with and thorough.
