Nova West Solar Company was able to reduce our annual true up bills by adding additional solar panels without affecting our current terms with PGE. We are pleased with the work completed and trust that we are in goods hands with Nova West Solar. I would highly recommend this company.

Absolutely fantastic customer service from start to finish. We didn't have to do a thing and our panels look AMAZING!!! Showed up on time, communication was great throughout. I can't say enough great things about them. We would definitely recommend them.

Cannot recommend this company. Poor communication, poor repairs of water lines they broke . They gave PG&E wrong meter number , they were supposed to aggregate both our meters but never did . Unanswered phone calls and emails. Use a different company!

We began our solar search about a year ago. We were looking to relocate to a smaller home that already had solar. We found a home however it didn’t have solar, so our solar search began. We spoke with family, friends & neighbors with solar. Someone suggested Nova West. Best call we ever made!! Now we did receive less expensive quotes from other companies however it was the people, as well as the product that Nova West offers that made all the difference. Andrew, Gary and the Whole team are always professional, , knowledgeable and Never rushed or pressured us to buy. They were very patient with us, even when we had a family delay. They had given us a couple quotes with different options and after comparing all The quotes We received Nova West was the most cost effective(great value) and the warranty Package second to none. I did a fair amount of research and interviewed multiple solar contractors prior to choosing Nova West to install Panasonic panels. Having just completed installation in July we haven’t had a lot of opportunity to measure results yet, but the August PGE electricity bill looked great so the equipment seems to be delivering. The Nova West installation, engineering, and internal staff did a wonderful job as well completing all the work very professionally and timely. The one area where I felt a lot of frustration was that communications were sorely lacking. This is a big investment and with a lot of moving parts to the process. This could have been a much more comfortable experience as a customer with a little more guidance and setting of expectations. Even after completion of the install there were a couple of weeks when we weren’t sure what was going on. Maybe I’m just old fashioned but I still appreciate a “thank you” from the salesperson when the job is complete. That said, I feel comfortable that we made a good choice overall in going with a quality product and company.

We had our solar system installed in May of 2016!!!!Our power bills have gone form 100s of dollars a month to at the most 40 dollars or less in the all except winter months( due to gas for our heater)!! The service is great and their interest in our satisfaction is outstanding!!!! I really recommend Nova West for solar!!!!!!!

The most important thing I can say in this review is: if you want an amazing system from someone who knows what he’s talking about and does exactly what he says, GIVE BALKAR AT NOVAWEST A CALL !! Like most people investing a large sum of money into a solar system I did copious amounts of research on panels and companies and then invited 9 companies out to get quotes. I wanted the best quality panels from a reliable company at a fair installation price. I also wanted a warranty that showed me the company backed their panel’s production for 25 years. There were cheeper options but reliability, system specs, warranty etc only left two companies that stood out: NovaWest and “the other one” (they don’t deserve a mention). And I initially chose “the other one” because their gimmicks got me. After being lied to and ignored for 4 months by the other guys I went back to Balkar at NovaWest, reviewed options and signed a contract. Within 45 days my system was on my roof and turned on making me money before summer even started. Balkar was very exact in his review of my roof and system production capacity. He did exactly what he stated. My June-August electric bill running my AC 24/7 in Clovis with a pool, $18.48! But because NovaWest put the system up in 45 days I was making money in March so I still have true-up credits. Thanks to NOVAWEST.

Nova West Solar is a great company that installed 38 panels on my home. They have really great prices and a professional team that does excellent work from start to finish. They even cleaned up after the job and took care of issues with PG&E (not their fault), that slowed the job down. Hire this company now you will not be disappointed ! Less

Nova West has been a very professional company to work with. We choose this company because they thoroughly explained the whole process with us and answered all of our many questions. With each step of the process of installing them, they explained what they were doing. The employees were always very courteous and always called back promptly if we had more questions or concerns. We have literally saved hundreds of dollars each month since getting solar put in. It has been one of the best home improvements we have done since moving in. It will definitely pay for itself in the long run.

To begin this review let me say that overall Nova West has performed near flawlessly. For discussion purposes the service will be broken into three discrete phases, pre-sale/sale, installation, and post installation support. Pre-sale/sale: During this phase, we looked at several different vendors and got both telephone as well as email responses to certain questions. I were completely ignorant regarding Solar, so we were potentially easy marks for the unscrupulous salesman. I first got a recommendation for NovaWest Solar from Angie's list. I contacted their Representative, Mark Luft, and after several phone conversations I asked him to come to the house where he spent adequate time to explain Solar in general and Nova West Solar specifically. He actually came to the house twice as the first time my wife wasn't home. Mark was great, absolutely no pressure...none! After explaining the system, all the associated costs, and establishing an agreed to schedule, and collecting a down payment of $1000.00, Marks job was done. I might add everything he said and all representations were right-on. Absolutely no surprises, equipment changes, or cost over runs or differences were experienced. The Installation: The installation was completed in three days. They actually started on the day that was scheduled and completed two days early. The installers were courteous, neat, and careful with our tile roof. Members of the install team included the overview of a licensed roofing contractor and a qualified electrician. After installation the house and yard were cleared of all resultant packing materials and you wouldn't even know that they were here. After several weeks, the City of Fresno Building Inspector arrived at our home and the installation was passed without issue. Post Installation Support: This was an area that started out a little shaky but ended quite well. In all fairness the post installation can't really begin, or at least begin in earnest until PG&E switches the service on by integrating the solar into their meter. This was apparently done remotely by PG &E as we didn't even know the service was switched until several days after it happened. If there is room for improvement then it would be communication in this area. However I really believe this out of the hands of the Solar Provider and strictly a PG&E function. That aside the post installation support includes helping the home owner initiate access to the monitoring Web Site supplied by the equipment manufacture Solar Edge (in our case). We had a few hiccups with that set up but after a few false starts Andrew Roldan came to our house and got us up and running. His professional attitude and service orientation confirmed my original belief that NovaWest Solar was an excellent choice as a provider for this service. I strongly recommend NovaWest as a solar service installer, and on going service provider to those in Fresno area.

I have had many people hear that we put in solar and ask me about it. I highly recommend this company and putting solar in. We have had solar for almost two years now and have saved hundreds of dollars per month. We were able to refinance our home and purchase the system by adding into the loan amount. If used correctly the system will pay for itself in 6yrs. The staff could not have been more professional. They answered all of our questions and walked us through how best to use our system. They did all the hard work with PG&E for us. They also looked at a years worth of our power bills to make sure it was worth our while by putting in a system.

Nova West was very nice to do business with. They showed up on time, installed our system in three days, and cleaned very well each day. We looked at three other solar contractors but Nova West was the best priced and installed German equipment. I highly recommend Nova West Solar in your are looking at purchasing a solar system for your home.

I was so impressed with the amount of knowledge these guys had about solar and installing it! I had done my homework and had a list of questions to ask when I was looking to install solar for my home. Other companies gave me the run around if they didn't know an answer OR whoever was the spokesman would ignore answering my question and redirect to another topic. If I'm going to spend ONE penny, you had better know what you're doing! The people at Nova West did, and were very patient to go over all the details with me. And trust me, I wanted tons of details. I was also walked through the best system that would suit our home and our family. When the time came to install the panels, they were fast, clean, polite, and did a great job! I'm so glad I took my time, did my research, and found them. Now I don't have to worry about an electric bill and I love it!

I have had Nova West Solar system little bit over a year. My primarily goal was to pay off the system it self as fast as I can. Usually if you buy the solar system you will pay for it for fifteen or twenty years. Nova west solar offer me a plan for a ten years which I was very happy about it. Needles to say that you safe hundreds of dollars on your electric bill. I will more specific... My electric bill was always during the summer over $500...now it's only $20...... amazing right !!!!!! The installation itself took only two days. It was very quick with no any problems but what is amaze me more.... when I have any question about solar system I can always rich the owner of the company and he always help me. I am very happy that I choose this company. I highly recommend this company to anyone who is thinking to purchase solar system.

My panels were installed right on schedule. Never any issues. When I was concerned with a humming sound, they promptly came and checked it out. They are professional, personal and I highly recommend Nova West. I especially like the fact that I will own them in 10 years...not a 20 year lease to never own like so many other companies.

Nova West Solar is a local company with a big-business mentality. They understand everything about solar. They have a roofing contractor and a qualified electrician. The installers were courteous and neat. After completion the yard was cleared of all packing materials and you wouldn't even know they were there. I strongly recommend Nova West as a solar service installer.

My system looks great on the house and is putting out more electricity than documented. The best part of Nova West Solar is how they handled things when things did not go as expected. The management made sure things were fixed quickly and I was happy with the outcome. The entire crew really cares about your home and the work they do. Nova West was clean and timely on their installation and after the first year of usage, their numbers and recommendation for the size of my system was spot on! This company took care of me & my needs. They got the job done, and done right. There is absolutely no other company I would recommend. The market is populated with so many competitors, most of these company's want to screw people over at the end of the day. They installed my solar in over 30 days, The manager was very cooperative & super nice, let's not forget I get free Energy for no cost!

Had a 6.3 kW system installed on our home. All permits, rebate paperwork and installation were handled on time and very professionally. Installation is very clean, with attention to detail, very impressed by the quality of work. Crew cleaned up after themselves and were very polite and informative. Interconnected to PG&E after 21/2 weeks from city approval which was very impressing, other companies claimed process would take much longer. Definitely recommended, very good company to deal with.

Outstanding is an understatement! My experience with Nova West Solar has been fantastic. The Solar installation was fast, the worksite was completely cleaned up when they left ant the installation looks great. The staff was always friendly and professional. The after the job customer service is just as great. I had some technical issues that were resolved quickly with excellent follow up. I can't say enough about this company. They are awesome!!

We could NOT be happier with the service we received. Our system is amazing. We heard about Nova West from two friends that each had a system installed in the last few years and they were both very pleased. We stopped by the Nova West booth at the spring Home and Garden show and made an appointment for a consultation. We had done our research and knew what type of system we wanted. Ian Rock (rockstar!) was our sales rep; he was very patient and answered all of our questions. We signed a contract the following week and had our system installed and running by the end of March. The construction crew was fantastic. They left no trace of their presence at the end of the day. Everything was perfectly clean and there was no damage to any of our plants or the garden in any way. After installation we did have a problem with one of the components (no fault of theirs, part was defective from the manufacturer) and they responded immediately. They replaced the malfunctioning part and our system has been producing clean energy ever since. We cannot say enough good things about this company. They undersold and over-delivered their product!

For us, the customer service offered by Nova West Solar is unmatched, they go above and beyond! Ian Rock of Sales is very professional, very well informed, a great listener, patient, respectful and personable. Ian was frank with us with regards to their services vis-a-vis that of their competitors. He never bad mouth their competitors but highlighted the strengths and weakness of Nova West Solar. Ian was not pushy. He was very patient, much as picky, critical and analytical as we are, and always responded to our numerous questions anytime. He gave us personal space and time to make our decision. Andrew Roland of Administration is also very professional, personable, respectful and always answered all our inquiries. The Installation crew- T.J, Jason, Ceaser, Pollo and Frank are also fantastic. They are very professional, very respectful, knowledgeable and accommodated all our requests. The installation was very smooth and great! no trashing of plants, lawn, no breaking down of flower pots, concrete or damage to anything. One can hardly tell a project of such magnitude was being undertaken at our house. The house was clean during and after the installation, compared to other projects we have had done in the past where the house looked like a war zone or to be less dramatic, a tornado or a hurricane ran through.

I seldom give reviews but Nova West Solar deserves to have praises and accolades. What a great company with people who really knows what they are doing! Great customer service! During the Solar installation, I requested them to make sure the cables are mostly out of sight, they took some time to study the layout of the house and exactly that is what they did. No problems whatsoever. Great job! I don't hesitate telling my friends about how superbly they are doing their job and their business.

Best Solar Company in town! They were super friendly, The GM and staff are a pleasure to work with! Got solar bids from different company's they had the best prices and no 200 page contacts! The owners are very friendly, I honestly didn't think it would be this easy!

We have had our solar system since August and had immediate benefits from our system. I waited a while to see what my PGE bill would be and as promised by the company It has been practically nonexistent. Everything about the company was a great experience from Tony the sales rep to TJ who measures your roof to Jose and his team that installs it. We did have a couple of follow up questions that Andrew in the office answered for us. There was no mess from anyone installing the panels and they were very efficient. The whole process was very easy and everything was done according to the time frame established. I would recommend this company to anyone considering solar and I already recommended them to family members who now also have solar installed by them. I admit I was extremely hesitant about the whole process based on finances but I now feel that our family made a great decision for our future.
