Amazing integrated service

We bought a new house and our first goal was to add solar and back up. Found No. Pacific from a Google search. From the very first call, they handled everything: system design, permits, installation, PGE activation, inspections. We moved in and Colton and Max installed our 20 panels and 2 Powerwalls the following week. Inspections were ordered, PGE notified, and everything wrapped up without one single hitch, delay, problem, or unexpected cost. All the employees were knowledgable, kind, respectful and a pleasure to have around. Could not recommend them and more highly.

I don't normally write reviews, but NPP deserves one for their good work. From the very start they were professional, courteous, knowledgeable and communicative. Cassius, Dan M. and the rest of the crew did what they said they would do, and did it when they said they would do it. The work appears to be done well and without issues. I hire contractors routinely in my professional life and would highly recommend NPP for homeowners seeking to add a solar and battery back-up system to their home.

Northern Pacific is a first-rate company with a highly professional and well-trained team of senior staff and technicians. Cassius, one of the owners, who guided us through the preliminary stages of two solar installations, is warm, responsive, and impressively knowledgeable about every aspect of solar and battery technology. Installation of our second array with batteries was guided and supervised by Dan Moran, who not only did a superb job getting the system in before Federal tax subsidies ended on December 31, but has continued to be a resource for this extremely un-tech-savvy family. He is always willing to help and walk the extra mile in assisting us in navigating the complexities of the system. This invaluable hands-on approach to customer service makes Northern Pacific way ahead in the game in this industry. Wherever we go we talk up the company! An easy 5 star rating!

We contacted NPP after deciding to get a solar system and batteries for our home. Our project manager, Dan Moran, was so easy to work with. He helped us better understand our options, and gave us confidence that NPP was committed to give us a great solution. NPP installed 14 panels and 2 Tesla batteries for us, and we loved that fact that they routed the conduit inside the attic so that the installation looked very clean. Post install, Dan has always been available to answer any questions that we had, and we would definitely recommend him as someone you can trust to look after you.

Overall Great Experience

I chose Northern Pacific Power for our solar installation after receiving a total of five bids from other providers, including Tesla. The service throughout the entire process was excellent. Graham, Devin, and the entire team provided very realistic timelines and expectations, all which were met. We are very happy that we chose NPP!

Solar Installation

Stellar Service – Highly Recommended for Solar & Maintenance We originally used Northern Pacific Power Systems to install solar panels and a battery back-up several years ago and have loved our system ever since. The company provides stellar service from beginning to end - initial consultations, installation, ongoing support, and in our case recently, removal and reinstallation. A special call out to Caitlyn, in the office, who went out of her way to work with my roofing crew and schedule her team right before they started the roofing project and right after they finished. She even coordinated conversations with the roofing supervisor and solar specialists to make sure everyone was on the same page. Caitlyn was understanding and helped me with getting permit adjustments resolved quickly. James and Francisco, the on-site crew, did a fantastic job removing the solar panels for our roofer and reinstalling them. They were respectful, knowledgeable and very accommodating. They helped me figure out a safe place to store the panels during construction and made sure everything was up and running after reinstallation. James and Francisco were careful of the new roof and even worked closely with my roofer to ensure that both the solar and roof warranty were maintained. I was so impressed with their work ethic, and highly recommend Northern Pacific Power Systems.

Everyone at NPP was a pleasure to work with. Dan Moran any his crew made the process seamless, and enjoyable as well. They accommodated all my requests and questions and Dan made himself readily available for follow up service needs. Also great to know they continue to monitor the system after installation. Of my 4 neighbors who have solar, 3 of them had moderate to major issues. Also the 30% off price for 2026 gave me the opportunity to upgrade to a second battery.

Fantastic from start to finish

Northern Pacific Power did a fantastic job installing our new solar system. From the first contact to the final inspection Devin S, was always available for calls and meetings, making the process seamless. the team of Jake H, Jake O, Max, Adrian ,and Christian did a fantastic job as well. Outstanding experience!

We cannot say enough good things about our experience with Northern Pacific Power Systems (NPPS)! Like most homeowners we tried to do our due diligence when we embarked on this project, and we ended up meeting with three companies. Two of those were standouts, but what ultimately tipped the scale for us was our initial meeting with Tory, our energy advisor with NPPS. He was detailed and thorough and presented not only a system that met all of our energy requirements but it was also aesthetically the most appropriate for our home! I had literally asked the prior two companies to put all of our panels on our back roof and was told that it was NOT possible as we would sacrifice too much production. Well, enter Tory who opens up his design proposal and had designed exactly what I wanted and had all the science and math to back it up! We were sold and our interaction from there forward was spectacular- the process is complicated and takes a few months but their team has it mapped out to the tiniest details from day one. Every once in awhile we’d think, “oh when does x or y happen?” And we could open up the very first email they sent and find the timeline and explantation. And if we needed information, they answered the phone and are just the nicest, most helpful people, including Adaggio and Caitlin. Our installation was coordinated by Devin, who made it simply seamless. His crew of installers, led by their electrician Colton as well as Zachary and Juan, were so efficient and skilled, we barely even knew they were here! Overall, it was a super busy time for NPPS and we felt like we were their only clients in the world. That’s tough to do even in the best of times and our system is incredible-we are very happy customers!

Great Solar Company!

Northern Pacific Power Systems completed our solar system this past February. From start to finish, this company is a class act! We have a very challenging 2-story home with a 12/12 pitch metal roof. We’d contacted a couple other solar companies, but when they heard steep metal roof, they didn’t even come out to look. But Northern Pacific Power Systems was up for the task. They did a great job and we are thrilled with our system. Great crew, both on the job site and in the office. Their goal was to make sure we were happy and they succeeded! We highly recommend them for your solar installation!

Solar/battery installation by Northern Pacific

We highly recommend Northern Pacific Power Systems for solar panels and backup batteries. Sales process was more of a technical session than "sales-y". Excellent project management and communication. Efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly workers who did excellent work. Assistance with obtaining NEM 2.0 and SGIP rebate was a bonus. Using DocuSign for paperwork was much appreciated. Milestone billing was great and every invoice came with a total updated project statement. Installation was faster than we expected - 4 months total from first sales visit during a very busy time for solar companies.

Exceptional Service

We were pleased from the first contact to the most recent when we were called to see how it all was working. Everything was explained and questions answered so we were comfortable moving forward. We purchased solar panels plus batteries because we qualified for the SGIP rebate from PG&E plus the federal tax credit so they made a huge difference in the cost to us. Once installed, we had good explanations and help figuring it all out. Plus all the people with whom we dealt were delightful people!

Fabulous company to work with

I am totally thrilled with NPPS from the very beginning to the completion of the installation of both the panels and the wall battery. Cassius and all the installers have been professional and courteous, explaining the process all along the way. My PG&E bill is now absolutely amazingly insignificant since I have not had to pay for any electricity. I highly recommend Northern Pacific Power to anyone who wants to protect our environment and decrease their carbon emissions.

Straight up company

The company was professional and efficient. Design was done by satellite and zoom meetings during the pandemic, with a single onsite visit prior to the final design being submitted to the city for approval. System we purchased was a 3.4 kW output with a 10 panel array on a roof mount with a 47 degree pitch, and their bid was competitive with others (just over 15K). Many companies would not install on a roof with this slope. The install was done in 1 1/2 days with a 4 person crew, and the routing of the electrical lines was discreet and painted to match existing house colors where necessary. Overall experience with the project was excellent. Just be aware that once the building permit is approved the charges come quickly and you will need to have your banking in order.

Great Solar system Company

Great solar system installed for our irrigation pumps and accessory buildings. Cassius handled our initial inquiry with a virtual evaluation that was accurate and thorough. We had wanted to qualify for the battery rebate, but missed the cutoff and the state pretty much closed it down anyway. The installation occurred a couple months later and was seamless. Alex walked us through the system, all the inspections, and dealing with PGE. And at completion Cassius again walked us through how the system works and how we can monitor it. Professional and competent all the way through.

Professional company throughout

Friends recommended Northern Pacific Power to us and we couldn’t be happier with our rooftop solar installation. The bid process with Cassius, the design element run by Alex and the installation by Chad and Jorge—the entire process was simple and professional. The orinal design had six panels on our highest producing roof and thirteen on the larger but less efficient roof. The designers found room for one more panel on the best roof. Better yet, the installers were able to put nine panels on the southern facing roof with ten on the eastern roof. Our product just kept improving. Conscientious and Thoroughly Professional

My wife and I had made a plan to rely less on the LP gas central heating for our home and shift more to the electric heating system we originally used but which long ago had become too expensive to operate. Working with Alan, Cassius, Adagio and Shelby at Northern, we added significantly to our existing number of solar panels to complete a system that handles both our heating and lighting needs and charges our electric car. In just a quick glance at the online monitoring of our new solar system I can tell already that we're going to be able to charge a second car when our current hybrid needs replacement. Great experience from start to finish! The presentation and plan was professional, thorough, and easy to understand, which made decisions on design, type of panel, and number of panels easy to make. The install was completed in a day and a half, and the follow up to get it setup with PG&E was seamless. I love my sleek panels!
