I had a great experience with the folks at New Farm Solar. The interactions with them were friendly, down to earth, and professional. Patrick gave me several options for an upgrade on my off-grid system, and I opted for replacing my AGM battery bank with two EG4 Lithium Iron Batteries. I think these days there are quite a few installers out there, but I doubt many of them have the depth of experience and technical knowledge of New Farm Solar. (In fact, some years ago I was told by a different installer that it was impossible to add lithium ion batteries to our system because they were incompatible with our inverter.) I would highly recommend New Farm Solar. If you do business with them, you can rest assured you are getting the best solar installation service available in Northwest Arkansas.

Worked with Andrew, Anthony, and Patrick to have a system designed and installed at my house in Fayetteville. New Farm Solar made the process easy by sending me an electronic solar plan, showing my house, the proposed panels, shade issues, etc. and information about the panels and cost, and then getting the system approved and installed. One of the best companies we have worked with in 40 years. Professional, efficient and effective installation of quality equipment. Service was first class, staff patiently repeating difficult concepts of the system and project. Office staff super helpful. Expensive system but worth the money.

Only problem is need for Wi-Fi to connect to Internet. We are working on getting the cellular option. Going forward. They have been very pleasant to work with and very honest dealing with me. Nice people also.

I live fully off grid, so when my inverter developed a serious, battery draining issue, I had to move myself and my food out. I'd really hoped that I would be able to go back home soon. New Farm was able to assess the problem, order a new inverter and get it installed in just over 4 days. Really great service, thank you all!

I bought equipment online with the hopes of building a DIY solar system (not recommended). After purchasing all the equipment, I quickly realized I was in over my head. New Farm Solar came to the rescue and, using the components that I had already purchased, built us a custom solar setup that provides the flexibility and all the functionality we needed. It was an unconventional and complicated grid-tied build providing grid and backup power to several buildings on the property. It was only because of New Farm Solar's extensive experience with many different designs and equipment manufactures that made it possible. Without their expertise, we would have ended up with nothing more than a very expensive brick sitting in the shed. Also, the office staff is top notch, there was zero sales pressure before signing, their contract process was straight forward and transparent, and all our questions and concerns were promptly addressed before, during and even after the build was completed. Did a great job for us! We bought used panels online (Sunpower 435w panels) and they are the only firm that would design (or wanted to design) a system to make it work. And it sure does work! Thank you NFS! Cant wait to buy and EV and drive for free!

We've been New Farm customers for several years. This project was to remove/replace 20+ year old panels (125w ea) with some Aptos (370w ea) bifacial panels, add a charge controller to handle the increased insolation, stack our already in place inverters to handle the increase, and upgrade the communication hub among all that. Andrew and crew were done in less than a day and a half. They were efficient, friendly, informative, and professional. Could not ask for more.

Living out of state, I did many online searches and heard many sales pitches for solar installation on my home in AR. During my conversations with the folks at New Farm Solar I never felt pressured or guided into purchasing anything. My thoughts, questions, and concerns were heard and discussed, and a plan was made with those considerations in mind. Patrick and his team took the time to explain the ins and outs of the system, took care of working with the existing power company, and explained the Federal tax credit. The installation went great and the New Farm Solar team was very professional from the start. Since the original install in July of 2022, I have had great communication with the team at New Farm Solar and have purchased more panels that they have installed.

They answered all our (numerous) questions and designed our system to fit our requirements. They managed all the interactions with our utility company to get the net metering agreement in place. We had quotes (and sales pitches) from several installers. New Farm was, by far, the best experience. New Farm Solar installed our panels in July of 2019. Patrick Villines and his team are knowledgeable about the solar energy world and very responsive to questions about the kind of system they install (as well as to questions about the variety of systems available in general). The forty-six panel install took only three days, and they cleaned up all the packaging. We had a negative electric bill until February of 2020, when our banked kilowatts had been used up, but expect for our usage and electricity generation from our solar panels to balance out in 2020, based on the system we had installed. Based on recommendations from several friends and acquaintances, I hired New Farm Solar to install a roof-mount 9.5 kW system on my rural business in August, 2017 with REC TP290 modules and SMA SB 7.700 inverter. The New Farm Solar owner was prompt and professional in responding to my inquiries and provided all necessary information to enable me to complete a complex REAP grant application in a timely manner and installed the system with minimum disruption of my business. I just received my first bill since installation (for month of September) and the results exceeded my expectations. My grid usage for a 33 day billing cycle was 957 kWh, compared to 2,142 kWh during August and 2,509 kWh for September, 2016. PVWatts predicted September usage at 1,175 kWh and my system produced 1,306 kWh. My payment dropped from $221.53 in August to $27.65 for September. Needless to say I am very pleased not only with the service provided by New Farm Solar but with the performance of my system and I look forward to a rapid ROI. Thanks, New Farm Solar!
