Net Zero Solar

Best Solar System Company in Arizona

After extensive research on a home solar system we settled with Net Zero Solar. Just want to say what a great experience this was from start to finish working with Chad and the Net Zero Solar team. These are solar system professionals who are dedicated to their chosen profession and I could not be happier with the stellar services they provided.

Great job from start to finish!

My wife and I first became interested in residential solar in 2013 we applied to SSVEC under the SunWatts program. We were accepted in December of that year. After receiving proposals and estimates from four solar contractors, we made the decision to go with Net Zero Solar. We have been very pleased with that decision. Chad and the team at Net Zero gave us by far the best overall proposal, explained all our options and answered all our questions in a manner that gave us confidence that they would do the best job completing this project. The performance of the entire team exceeded all our expectations. In March, 2014, Net Zero Solar installed 24 LG electronics LG290N1C solar modules, each coupled with an Enphase energy M250 microinverter. They completed the installation on time and in budget, having taken care of all permits, inspections and coordination with SSVEC. This 6.96 kW system has performed flawlessly since going online March 28, 2014 and has produced over 3.3 MegaWatt hours of clean energy to date. We have recommended Net Zero Solar to many friends and acquaintances and will continue to do so! They did a fantastic job from start to finish!

Super Company

Chad and his company professionally installed my 8kw solar system back in 2012. The Cochise County building inspector commented he was happy to see Net Zero Solar (NZS) doing the install since NZS was one of two companies he had not had any issues with of the five companies doing installs at that time. My electrical contractor friend commented that the materials used right down to the pull rope inside the conduit were top quality. NZS checks up on me periodically inspecting mechanical, electrical, and data systems to be sure the system is functioning well and for preventative maintenance. Kudos to NZS :) I highly recommend them.

Net Zero Solar in Sierra Vista

This is simply the best solar company for installation of a solar system. The engineering and installation was the best ever performed by any contractor at our house, and we can honestly recommend them (and have) to many of our friends.

Henry Design Build

Net Zero Solar has completed multiple solar installations for our company and our clients alike. Zero Complaints!!! These guys are top notch. The best in their industry.

Net Zero Solar = Money in Your Pocket

When it comes to tapping into solar energy, the Net Zero Solar team are THE subject matter experts. They sized a system perfect for our planned usage (to include a solar Water Heater) and almost five years later, we couldn't be happier with the results. We highly recommend Net Zero Solar!!

After seven years, Net Zero Solar still rates 5 stars.

Net Zero has been outstanding from initial contact to regular monitoring for the almost seven years we have had their system. I had asked Chad for a system that provided all my electrical needs. It was so accurate that at the annual net balancing the electrical company (SSVEC) owes us about $35. They are friendly and knowledgeable without being pushy. I recommend them without reservations; they are an excellent outfit to work with.

Simply the best in AZ!

I was their first customer in Cochise County, AZ which incorporated Enphase micro-inverters in early 2009. Using NREL's application to estimate system sizing (which did not provide for micro-inverters at that time), NZS and I sized a system which we thought would provide for 65-70 percent of annual kWh needs. Incorporating two 16-panel arrays with an overall average azimuth of 180 degrees, my system delivered more than 95 percent of my annual kWh needs. Two points about NZS: first the company's team members including their president, all solar certified to the hilt, were on my roof working; second, when the SE array of 16 linear panels was less than 6 inches off vertical, end to end, NZS loosened and perfectly aligned that array. Visually, I could not notice the change. - but, NZS did which demonstrated their commitment to quality installations. I couldn't be happier with their work and commitment to excel!!

Outstanding Company

We have had our solar system operating for about 6 months now and couldn't be happier. The entire Net Solar team has been wonderful to work with. We called them after another solar company caused damage to our home attempting to put in roof top solar system resulting in an aborted installation and a decision to go with a ground mount system. Chad and his team at Net Solar were willing to take over the project, coordinating with the previous company regarding permits and such. The entire team was professional, work was accomplished within expected timelines and they did a beautiful job keeping disruption to a minimum. We hit a snag with permit/zoning and Chad referred us to a specialist who helped us deal with the issue successfully. We hit another snag with our computer/internet provider when trying to connect the system. Louis spent hours helping fix the problem although it turned out to be due to an internet provider problem and had nothing to do with the Solar connection Our panels are working well and we are producing the power we expected. Net Zero has been great about monitoring the system performance. We have gone offline a few times which they caught right away. They have returned to be sure everything is functioning well. I would highly recommend Net Zero - great company-great people.

Excellent Company

From start to finish, Chad and his people were great. They know their stuff, everyone is very helpful and professional.

Net Zero Solar review

I would highly recommend Net Zero Solar when you have decided it's time to go solar. They are very professional, but approachable with any of your questions. Their work crew were great, arrived on time, no fooling around and the work they did was excellent. I am so happy I finally went solar! Net Zero made it a great experience! Can't beat saving $ on electricity! CAN'T BEAT NET ZERO SOLAR!

New Solar Panels

I have waited years to get solar panels and I love them. Net Solar has been great. They have been professional and answered all of my questions. They have been patient (we were building a new building on which the solar panels would go). They are having trouble with the wi-fi signal but they keep trying. I strongly recommend Net Zero Solar

Great prices and great service

My 5 kW system was installed by Net Zero a couple months ago. Chad and his team did a great job, from the initial proposal, to the adjusted proposal (accounting for neighbors' concerns regarding panel visibility), to the installation. The quote was by far the lowest of the three companies I got proposals from, but the service was still top-notch. For example, TEP was quite slow in approving the system but Net Zero was on top of it, constantly checking in with TEP for updates. Bottom line: the team at Net Zero know what they're doing.

Steve Usry

Chad and the team at NET Zero are among the very best people I have ever worked with. The did what they said they would do, on or ahead of schedule and within cost. The level professionalism they showed me is rarely seen in the area I live. They made me feel as if my business was important to them throughout the process and they made things incredibly easy. I would enthusiastically recommend them to anyone looking for a solar system. Thanks!!

Residential Solar PV Install

We selected Net Zero Solar to install a residential Solar PV array on our property. we requested quotes from 6 vendors, received 5 quotes and selected Net Zero based on installation design/equipment, price, customer service and installation window. Chad Waits was our initial contact with Net Zero. Very knowledgeable about Solar PV and the Tucson solar market. All our dealings with Net Zero were straightforward, professional and prompt. Everyone we dealt with at Net Zero was professional and courteous from Chad & Trace in the office to Mike and installation crew. The installation was accomplished in 2-1/2 days with a minimum of fuss. The install guys took the time to answer all our questions and walk us thru the operation of the system including the Enphase monitoring. We're very happy with Net Zero Solar and have recommended them to others.

Great product and service

Net Zero is a good, local solar company. We are very happy to have hired them to generate our electricity for us instead of continuing to give so much of our money to a Canadian conglomerate monopoly (Tucson Electric / Fortis Corp)! Net Zero company President Chad is very friendly, professional, and accessible. Of the 3 companies we asked for quotes, Net Zero was the only one willing to work with us to consider our efficiency upgrades and estimate our future energy use. The other two companies tried to sell us systems that were way larger, and more expensive, than we actually needed, but Net Zero helped us get into something that meets our needs and that we can afford. I actually get excited when I see their truck around town putting up another system! Also, I made a couple recommendations to friends, and Net Zero found out I had mentioned their company, and since both of these friends went solar with Net Zero, they sent me a $200 check for each referral!

Good experience!

We are very happy with our PM installation by Net Zero. The work was done quickly and professionally. There was a problem when the system was turned on initially, but Net Zero took care of the problem right away and without any kind of hassle.

Highly Recommended

Net Zero installed a 7kW PV system on the roof of my new home. All was done efficiently, on time, on budget, and the installation is visually attractive.

Highly Recommended

Had a 6.16kW PV system installed by Net Zero Solar in Dec 2014 and have been very satisfied with it. All my questions were answered. The install itself was very well done and every attention to detail was paid. I would highly recommend Net Zero Solar!

Passing Along Great Info to Friends.

They did a great job on my system! They're keeping up with the latest and best ways to get the most from your system. Not pushy, but very good. I send their contact information to friends interested in solar power.
