DONOT USE SOLAR MOMEMTUM
Please do not use Solar Momentum. I had solar installed two years ago with another vendor, yet my phone number was somehow listed as a lead with Solar Momentum. I have repeatedly told them to remove my number, but they have continued to call and harass me for the last two years. Completely unacceptable and extremely poor customer service.

The absolute worst
I've been a customer for 7 years and in addition to paying for my panels I've been having high bills from my utilities. They said I would cover 100% of my power but that's definitely not the case. I recently added panels to try and cover my bill and paid for them to also install critter guard. What they installed was not critter guard and it's definitely not worth what I paid for it, and it looks like the person installing it has never installed it before. I asked for them to fix it and at least make it look like it's supposed to, and they said I would have to pay for the service call. To fix something I already paid for. This is the absolute worst customer service I have ever received from a company. I love the idea of of solar, but get it literally anywhere else. These people are crooks.

Very slow process and bad customer support
Absolutely do not recommend. The process has been incredibly slow, and I've been getting constant runarounds. My appointment has been rescheduled multiple times, pushing it back by three weeks. Each time I called, customer service would promise that a technician was coming "tomorrow," but they never showed up. When I finally asked for a reason, the representative said, "I just let you know we are rescheduling, I don't know what happened to the technician." This lack of communication and accountability is completely unacceptable. I would strongly advise against using this company if you value your time and expect reliable service.

Merciless Company
I have installed solar panels with Momentum in March 2024 In July 2025 my system is having issues And no one from the company has come to fix the issue yet Now I have to pay to PSEG for the power that I am using inspite of having solar panels on my roof Tbere is no ETA for this issue to be resolved I am their mercy I have no other option than wait for them

Do not recommend.
From June through August 2025 — the most critical months for building solar “energy banking” credits to offset winter bills — my system from Momentum Solar produced virtually no energy. This was not due to weather or anything I did — the system simply wasn’t functioning. Because of this downtime, I was forced to purchase all of my electricity from Eversource at full grid rates, which cost me significantly more than expected and wiped out the summer credits Momentum Solar highlighted as a key benefit when I signed on. When I reported the issue, the company denied responsibility and refused to provide any compensation for the lost production or the additional costs I incurred. Their lack of accountability, slow response, and unwillingness to make the situation right have left me regretting my investment. Solar is a major commitment, and customers should be able to rely on their provider to stand behind their product and promises. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Momentum Solar.

Leaking roof
I have had a leak around my chimney for years. I mentioned this to the momentum sales person as I also purchased my roof through momentum. I was assured that the chimney and flashing would be addressed. The leak around the chimney persists after the new roof and now I'm told the roof is separate from the chimney and now I need to pay to remove and reinstall the panels to fix the leak.

Terrible Customer Service and POOR QUALITY ROOF
0 Stars!!! I purchased a roof and solar panels from Momentum and I am so disappointed with the quality of the roof. They sell you that you are getting a top of the line roof when in actuality they completely overprice and have no expertise in this area! Also, no one from the roofing department will respond to my concerns. My roof is sagging under the panels and there are wavy shingles all over. I am so upset that I trusted this company.

Horrible company
These people actually pretend to help get solar but if your property doesn't have complete in sun whole house from satellite imagery. They will call you from a Connecticut number at 9:00 pm to cancel their idea for your home. Again if your roof is not completely exposed to the sun full sun. Do not answer the 800 number that calls you. They do not call from local companies and waste your time and wake up the family.

Stay away from this company
I've been with this company for over a year. They marked up a good deal got me on with them. Now im being screwed. They are only sending 250- 350kw to my electric bill. Still have high electric bill and now $200+ solor bill. They do not answer there phone when you call. But dont pay your bill they ring phone off the wall to get there money. When I asked them that I'm producing 1300+ kw and only 350 max is going towards my electric They always say the same thing "you were on real time" then why am I paying for solor and electric. They are all bullshit company they lied about $8600 rebate for my taxes. Told me my bil will never go above $124 for solor. They guys that were sent to my house were very rude to my dogs. Lied about "government free panel" program. Don't waste your time and money

They call over and over again
This company is relentless! Just today I received 6 calls from them. Each time I blocked the number, they would call back on another one. As a business owner myself, I find it rude and tacky hounding people. If I didn’t answer the second time, then it’s obvious I don’t want the business. I wish the do not call list still worked and these companies didn’t harass by using different numbers.
