Solar Panels

If I could give them zero stars, I would. By far the worst customer service I have ever encountered. They never answer the phone. My records never got updated. When you finally get some one the phone they give you different answers and never follow up. Very incompetent staff. Do not buy from them.

Left several messages with customer service, no response

Our panels were installed 2018 and our Duke energy bill has increased from $75 to $300+/ month. I've called several times and left messages to no avail. What do we have to do to get a response and service for our panels? HELP!

Monitoring System installed by Maximo

We bought the system for the solar panels around 5-6 years ago in which currently we have a problem with the monitoring system with the company Maximo Solar. They have not answered our calls and when we ask for help in writing, they will not give it to us. No solutions were given and they tell us to call directly to the product maker while in contract they are the ones to help with this sort of problem. We cannot call any other companies because they will invalidate our warranty which means our hands are essentially tied.

2nd Solar Battery

We have been working with Maximo Solar Industries since November 2017. Their team has done a great job putting up the panels, Tesla Batteries, and wiring. They really know what their doing. Customer service, they do their best on communication. Amy Schramek

Service after installation none existent

Installation was done in a timely and professional way. Only good thing.... After installation was completed and i had my system working after about 4 months the system had an error. Called for service and they scheduled a tech to come to my house (or so they said) almost 3 months after the call i still haven't seen a tech come by. Also asked to talk to a engineer because some of my panels are set in an area that they don't produce much since day one and there is options on my roof to relocate them but they cant do it until the engineer does the study and approves it. Just like the service i have not gotten a call from neither one. After they get there money you are on your own. Because of the problems with the location of the panels now i have an electric bill and the loan for the system. But as long as they do the installation and the company gets paid you are no longer there concern. I would not recommend them to my worst enemy to get an installation from them. Stay away and get solar from another company and not from them.

La persona que atiende las llamadas telefonicas no tiene conocimiento tecnico y es ineficiente el sistema de soporte, Si es importante para usted el apoyo tecnico local, considere otra compania. Don't waste your money, there are better options.

My system was installed 3 years ago but I still get spam about leaving reviews so here we go; I have a 10kwh system with a Tesla Powerwall 2. While the panels have been great in lowering our power bill, the $10,000 Powerwall has never worked in backing up or powering our home. Sales: I worked with Elizabeth, who was sweet, honest and made herself available at any moment should we have any questions. While we were looking at financing options we were contacted frequently to see if we wanted to move forward. There was no pressure along the process. I never once felt mislead by Elizabeth and she seemed willing to bend over backwards for our project. Installation: The install team get five stars. They were all amazingly nice, efficient and helpful along the way. They finished within a few days and cleaned up after they left. I work from home and all during the install I could even barely tell they were working. They are truly the backbone of the company, props for working in the FL heat the way they did. I was told that we were their first Powerwall 2 install in Florida, this should have been my first warning. Service: Here's where the rating drops as once Maximo got our $40,000+ for the install we were no longer important to them. It began with the power-meter. I signed all the required paperwork within 24 hours, but after waiting for weeks I got impatient and called the power company myself only to find out our paperwork for the new meter was never submitted. The response I got was lazy and rather unapologetic. I have 3 very delicate saltwater fish tanks that we specifically got the Powerwall backup system for, especially for the hurricane season. However, the Powerwall has never powered our home, even after the promises that it would charge during the day, and power our house at night. We even lost power for a week during Hurricane Irma, almost killing thousands of dollars worth of coral and fish in our saltwater tanks. After countless calls with Tesla they have told me that Maximo won’t respond to their emails and because it was installed by a third-party, Tesla cannot send a technician out. It's been over 1 months since I was promised a "Neuro kit" to make the battery work but we have already made two payments on a system we were promised would be installed and functional 45 days after we signed the contract. I would highly suggest you look elsewhere. The company has apparently tried to make themselves look like they care by copy and pasting the same sad reply to all of their bad reviews on Google. This should be a good indication of how much effort they actually put into their customer service.

Happy w/ results

We chose Maximo due to their flexible backup storage offerings (i.e. Tesla Powerwalls). The company has been pretty responsive to any issues that have come up and also worked with us exhaustively to setup a Solar package that worked for my family along with two Tesla Powerwalls. We highly recommend the company. As an added bonus, the installers did an amazing job making our panels look very even and they chose panels that did not look cheap on our rooftop. This might seem like a minor deal, but when you have to look at these panels every day, you don't want your panels looking oddly placed and/or cheap while your neighbors have a nice installation.

Product is ok. Service is terrible

After a year with a Maximo solar system, I am totally disappointed with the service offered. To contact customer or technical service is practically impossible. There are some good customer and technical service reps. Seems that after the sale is done, they practically don’t care if your satisfaction. Service is so bad that even employees agree on how bad it is. I have made the mistake of recommending Máximo to other sales potentials and I will never do it again. Even on the sales side, they hide information from you only to find out after the purchase is done and realize that you’re getting a lot less than you bargained for. The automated answering system is the worst Very disappointing,

Very irresponsible, poor quality system and overall bad sistem.

I really regret buying a solar system from maximo solar in Aguadilla. The system was installed on 12 February 2020, and it only worked for 2 weeks, since then awaiting for a Trace 6k inverter. So a $8500 solar system and 6 months later without a system thanks to maximo solar industries in Aguadilla. So, those of you, who wants a solar system, I strongly advise to research well and do not get involved by their deceiving advertising and their poor equipment warranty.

Good system bad services

Very good solar system, bad customer services. After 6 months I have a water leak, on a brand new house (2019) the way the company is taking care of this is really bad, they send 2 technician to "fix" the problem they found 3 holes and they glue them, Im okay with that because theres no more leak but I still have damage on my living room celling. You call them they dont respond and they dont call you back. Like I said, i like the solar system it work, Duke energy give me a $350 credit and that was only for the first6 months, the equipment works but the customer services it just wow.

Llevo 1 a�o con una lucha tremenda con esta compa��a y a estas alturas no han resuelto mi problema. Estoy arrepentendida totalmente de haberlos escogido para suplir energia a mi hogar ya que no cuento con un contador de energia el�ctrica. Hay que estar llamando y rogando para los servicios y para colmo a la hora de cobrar $150 por las visitas por problemas causados por ellos mismos, la excusa es "usted vive lejos y hay gastos". Est�n m�s enfocados en vender que en resolver los problemas de los clientes existentes y eso no es justo. Tiene que haber un balance y cumplir con todo. Un desastre... Google Translate: I have been with a tremendous struggle with this company for 1 year and at this point they have not solved my problem. I am totally sorry to have chosen them to supply energy to my home since I do not have an electric energy meter. Terrific job installing solar panels for us.

Maximo Solar had to install panels on top of the third story of our townhouse with very limited access over forty feet up - a difficult job. They did terrific work. The installers were neat, fast, professional and efficient. When some complications arose with some of the equipment, it was handled creatively and quickly. We were especially impressed by their attention to detail and cleanliness.

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM - AVOID.

This business is a major scam. AVOID THEM. Takes your money and if there's anything wrong with your system they will ignore your calls and emails (even if you're still under warranty), and they will blame you for the system they sold you not working. They lost their accreditation with the Orlando BBB, they have 4 complaints about them with the Attorney General, and 6 with the BBB and they've only been in Florida 2 years. This doesn't include any complaints with the DPBR.

Excellent and Highly efficient company

This is a trustworthy company. They performed an excellent installation and the service is great and professional. The personnel performed a high quality installation and the equipment is very reliable. I am saving more than $350 dollars monthly with the solar system installed on my house. Superb Installation

Maximo installed a 24 panel Solaredge (with Tesla Powerwall) photovoltaic system at our home. The quality of the installation was World Class. I’m talking about both the actual labor and the quality of te materials used. It surpassed my expectations by a wide margin. Everything was documented via pictures for audit purposes. Aftermarket support has been superb as well. The on-site support leader and team have been incredibly responsive every time our system has encountered a problem. They do have a challenge to ramp up on knowledgeable resources as demand for photovoltaic systems increases in Puerto Rico. The sales process was probably the only not so pleasant experience. We felt pressured to close the sale.

Worth company ever do never call them they are an scam

Esta es la peor compañía que pueda existir no hagan negocios con ellos no toman responsabilidad de nada de lo que hacen y nunca cumplen lo q prometen desde el principio es una mentira todo tienes q estar lidiando como con 3 personas de las cuales ninguna resuelve nada, los paneles no producen lo q se gasta de energía y ellos prometieron que lo iban a hacer los instaladores cada vez que se romper algo se aparecen como a las 2 semanas en vez de resolver los problemas de el pago de la corriente ahora es peor pues tengo que pagar la corriente más alta y además pagar otra cuenta la de los paneles. Esto es una pesadilla por favor no hagan negocios con ellos son pesimos

Customer Service

Acerca del Servicio, es muy bueno, con respecto al "Customer Service" tengo que decir que es todo lo contrario, al que calificaría de "mentiroso" Primero: para vender el producto dicen que el paquete incluye bombillos LED de obsequio los cuales nunca llegaron, reclame varias veces a lo que se disculpaban y me decían que me los iban a enviar....todavia estoy esperando...y no es por los bombillos porque si los necesito voy los compro y listo, pero porque prometen algo si después no cumplen. Segundo: Me llamaron por telefono prometiendome una gift card de $50 dolares en amazon si llenaba una encuesta acerca de ellos, lo hice y saben que??, la gift card nunca me la dieron...o sea, son unos mentirosos, llamé y reclame pero nada. No pretendo hablar msl de nadie pero esto es cierto. A las personas que deseen contar con Máximo Solar asegurense que les den lo que prometen. Conmigo no lo hicieron.

Instalacion Paneles Solares

Durante todo el proceso me mantuvieron informada y me ayudaron a obtener el permiso de HOA en mi comunidad que fue el mas trabajo que dio y mas información solicito. Llegaron puntuales el día de la instalación, todo lo dejaron limpio y contestaron todas mis preguntas con cortesía. Muy contenta con el equipo de instalación que enviaron. Ahora falta la inspección del condado para que me reemplacen el contador y poder comenzar a generar la energía de mi hogar.

Horrible company

Where the installation went wrong was they only sent 2 guys and when they sent them I was not home so i could not give them the access they needed. and then when they scheduled it to where i could be there. I took a Paid vacation day to be there and when they arrived again they only had 2 people there and they had no idea of what they had to do on the inside of the house so I wasted a vacation day to be there, so then the next day they came and told me they did not need to be in the house and they started the installation on the outside a Month later they said everything was done and when i got home EVERYTHING was uneven and they drilled into my gutter to have a ground wire run thru they used tar to keep the wire stick to the roof and zip tied it to the gutter running down the side of my house. and when i saw that I took pictures of everything and sent it to Maximo which he then called me and had them resend them out and had a manager come out and when they came out I was not home and they said oh everything looked fine, but when I got home I noticed that NOTHING had been done, I called Maximo back and they said that everything was fine and did not need to fix anything. I told them That i did Not want those installers to come back to my house but I wanted someone else to come out so the Head of the contracting company came out to my house and when he arrived he was Shocked at the poor workmanship that was displayed and he had to take EVERYTHING down and when he got the panels down he noticed the wire that was used was the WRONG wire causing him to have to take all the panels down and go back to the ware house to get it and that took a week so our panels where just laying on the ground for a week. then he came back and reinstalled the panels with the right wire and he "fixed" the gutter by just patching it so i still have a hole in my seemless gutters that are now not so seam less and by then i was done fighting with the guy to get the gutter fixed. I sent a message with a picture to Maximo with a picture of how they "fixed it" but they never said anything back to the picture message. So after about 2 months of installation which should have took 2 days it was finally done.

Simple Solar sold the system to us, our 1st mistake. Panels had to be reinstalled twice. Failed inspections 3 times.
