Mass Renewables

A+ Process

Working with Mass Renewables was wonderful. From the first meeting with Mike, to the seamless installation of our system, they were onto of everything and communication was second too none. They explained every part of the process and were flexible in finding the right fit for our home. I can't say enough good things. Thank you Mass Renewables!

These guys are the best!!

After getting multiple quotes from other installers and visits I decided to go with Mass renewables because they offered best prices, no pressure sales tactics, local family owned company. Mike was very helpful and patient since I was looking at different layouts and solar panels since I was buying the system. Once the contract was signed they took care of everything. Jeff and the team did a great job with the install and also installed a level two charger to plugin my Volt EV. From signing the contract to turning on the system was about two months. My coworker went with another installer before I started looking and he's still waiting. Highly recommend them!!!

This is the Team to go with for Solar install

Mike, Deb, Jeff and the crew where great! Mike is great to work with and knows the products. No sales pitch ever just facts and knowledge to answer all my many questions especially when pitted against 3 Competitors Mass Renewables clearly comes out on top with Product, timeliness and cost. Mike and team are also quick in responding to any questions. Less than 6 weeks install for 33 panels and 2 weeks for National Grid to approve.

Great experience

We were very pleased with the installation from start to finish. Everything was well explained and happened very quickly. Excellent customer service from Mike and Jeff made it a great experience. Great product that was up and running with no problems.

Excellent job. Very good experience.

Mike, Jeff and team did an excellent solar installation. The workmanship and professionalism of the team was as good as it gets. The electrical work was superb. I voiced my concern to the electrician that I didn't want to see any of the electrical routed on the front roof of the house. He listened to me and spent considerable extra effort to route the electrical avoiding the front roof and following close to the exterior chimney so that it is very nondescript. The panels look and run great. We've had our system turned on for a little over a month and are very pleased with the performance. We highly recommend Mass Renewables.

System just turned 1, very satisfied

We've had our system for a year, and Mike Kelley nailed the specs. Our output is exactly as Mike sized the system. We've had no maintenance issues at all, the system just runs. Mike has been very responsive with follow up questions - such as snow removal guidance, and I highly recommend Mass Renewables.

Dan and Sue from Bellingham Ma.

We were very pleased with Mike Kelley of Mass Renewables. The installation was completed much quicker than we thought it would be done and we love looking on line every day to see how much energy we are generating. We have recommended Mike to many of our friends. Dan and Sue

Happy Customer

My husband and I did quite a bit of research as we were going solar. Mike answered many questions and took the time to explain everything to me. The quote was competitive with others and supporting a local business was an added benefit. Installation was very quick in fact faster than initially expected. Everything about the job was professionally done. I have no regrets at having chosen Mass Renewables for our quality solar installation. I'm looking forward to many years of solar generated power!

Excellent Solar Contractor

After getting five quotes for my solar project I chose Mass Renewables, the experience from start to finish was seamless. When Mike came to assess the solar project I could tell I just wasn't talking to a salesman but someone who is very knowledgeable in the solar industry. Jeff and his crew did a terrific job with the installation, very clean and professional looking. Excellent job by a professional company.

Mr

Mike and his team from Mass Renewables performed a highly professional installation with Mike providing a competitive quote as well as providing a through explanation of the different options for different system panels and size. Once the agreement was signed, the work was performed on schedule with all involved providing efficient and clean installation. The system is functioning as mike predicted and we are highly satisfied. Recently Mike noticed that one of the panels had some damage due to this winter ice, and acted to quickly replace the panel. We highly recommend Mike and his team and are happy to provide reference for his work.

Excellent Install

Mike and Jeff did a great job all work done on time and they took care of everything.

Great company to work with

We highly recommend Mass Renewables for solar installations. Mike Kelley is great to work with, explained everything and answered all our questions with no high pressure sales tactics. The Mass Renewable installation team works in a professional, timely, efficient manner, and left the work-site in a pristine condition. They are all personable and easy to work with. Our system performance has been great so far. The SREC process took longer than expected though that is done with a different company. Overall we highly recommend Mike and Mass Renewables!

Great experience

Mike and Jeff did an excellent job on our residential system. They provided a competitive quote, met all deadlines, were extremely responsive and helpful throughout the process, and handled the permit and inspection processes effectively. I would not hesitate to recommend Mass Renewables to anyone considering residential solar.

Alan Freedman

After having my solar panels since September, I am very pleased with Mass Renewables. After a very harsh winter, I was notified by Mass Renewables that I had a small problem with four of my panels. They immediately sent their electrician to my home to check out the problem. Right after that, they sent representatives from the LG Company, the manufacturer of my solar panels, to assess the damage and to order replacement panels. I have never dealt with any company that sold me something and then completely followed up with necessary repairs before I even knew I had a problem. I'd recommend Mass Renewables to anybody and everybody.

Excellent project planning and execution

Mass Renewables installed my solar system last month. I was happy to go with them instead of big box companies. Mike, Jeff and whole crew are teriffic. They planned the whole project always discussed with me and set expectations on the timeline because of rebates etc govt agency involvement. There team is excellent, professional came on the day they planned and get most of things done without last-minute rush. Keep it up guys... excellent work.

Quality Local PV System Installer

Mass Renewables installed a 14.85kw system for me that went operational about one year ago. Mike and the Mass Renewables team are absolutely fantastic at installing a customized system. In addition to unparalleled attention and access to team members, Mike took the time to design a system that my family and I will be happy with for years to come. Their technical expertise as well as their highly professional quality workmanship really wowed me. This is a fairly large residential system that required 3 5kw inverters and spans two roofs with 53 280w LG panels. Mike had a team of electricians who did a magnificent job. After a year, the system has produced 19mw. Mike has been very responsive to any questions I have had since the installation. We are very happy with the system and look forward to many years of enjoyment. From beginning to end, my project took 5 months. Longer than I expected, but the delays were due to home inspections and the utility company. Throughout the process, Mass Renewables worked tirelessly on my behalf. For those who are considering installing a residential PV system, I would high recommend Mass Renewables. One note I would stress is that the regulatory process is cumbersome and arduous. Between MassACA, MassCEC, SREC broker, utility company, energy audit, town inspectors, reporting to the production tracking system (PTS) and tax returns, I spent a considerable amount of personal time on this project. For me, it was quite the learning process.

honest professional

Mike is who I consider as a old school contractor. From start with explanation of system require to schedule of completion, are presented in simple and easy understanding terms, every steps are done with no pressure and professionalism. The installation completed as plan with no issue.

Mike is with you at each step right from Product marketing, System Design, Installation, troubleshooting & Maintenance. With Mass Renewables one can rest assured you have the best and are taken care of. I'd recommend them a million times over.

Very Professional

Competitive pricing using products made in the USA, combined with a professional crew and on time delivery made my installation a good experience.

Honest Turnkey Installtion

Mass Renewables provided a competitive quote on a turn-key installation. A local company in which the principals are directly involved, they offer a quick and honest response to all inquiries. The installation crews were efficient, courteous and comfortable to work with. System performance has met all of our expectations.

Superb Job

After researching the world of residential solar PV systems I decided to own the system as opposed to the various leasing options. I obtained 3 quotes and Mike from Mass Renewables was by far the most responsive to my questions. He designed an 8.4 Kwh system based on 30 panels that he strategically layed out on my back roof. He coordinated the project very nicely and was timely in the installation. The only hold ups were National Grid in getting the Net meter installed and the town electrical inspector. The system looks great and operates as expected. I would highly recommend Mike and the Mass Renewables team.

Great people to work with

Very happy customer. Very responsive, great team of people to discuss questions which helped me move ahead with big investment. Neat work !

Can't say enough great things about Mass Renewables!

After talking to seven different solar companies, I landed on Mike and crew at Mass Renewables. They are a great, professional, hard working team - that put up my solar system on some of the coldest days I can remember. I am the proud owner of 9.6KW, 300-w LG panel based system - and in the month of operation - couldn't be happier. I researched MR on BBB, watching their This Old House vid, calling references, and checking licenses. Everythingeveryone spoke very highly of the team. Mike is easy to work with and was happy to include me in the system design decisions. We started out with a simple layout on my main roof, but after thinking about everything, decided to go BIG. I asked Mike to lay out an array over my garage and a second on the main roof. We worked through a mix of inverter and monitoring options - landing on two different brands - doing so is a little out of the ordinary - but allowed me to obtain the full Mass-rebate AND have a solar powered 1500w emergency outlet. In addition, we decided on going with a more sophisticated monitoring system than is typical (so I can data-dive and mine to my heart's content) and Mike has been flexible. The electrician did a clean, beatiful install of the equipment in the garage. I kept going back and forth of where to lay out the equipment (basement utility room versus garage) and they were very flexible. The electrician wore booties and cleaned up after themselves! I highly recommend Mass Renewables.

Happy customer

Doing business with Mike Kelley of Mass Renewables was a pleasurable experience. His quote was reasonable, he did the work on time, the system works exactly as advertised, and -- unexpectedly -- the panels on my roof are beautiful. His electricians also did first class work, inside and out.

Great install

I used Mass Renewables to install a 3rd party solar system. They have been great to communicate with, fast responses and they will get you the info you are looking for. Jeff and his team were great to have on site. Very nice to interact with and great install. Kept the work site very clean. Coordinated all permits and aspects of the install.
