Everything went smoothly from the sale to the installation. Grant and Leslie were Very professional and explained everything really well. It went fast every good so far can’t wait to see the results.

Lumio is a SCAM

They installed $65000 system for me that doesn't work. Called them for months and no help was provided to me at all.

Do not use this company

Solar Energy Today installed my solar system in 2019. Everything tip-top, no complaints, and the system worked fine. But when I needed to migrate the monitoring system from 3G to 5G (mandatory) in 2022, they had merged/become Lumio, and my experience was ghastly, awful, every negative word you can think of. Their customer support reps were understanding and knowledgeable, but when they handed off to someone actually coming to the house, everything fell into a black hole of nothingness. No communication call backs, no follow-through. Bottom Line: NO MONITORING SYSTEM. Then a few months ago the inverter on the system needed to be replaced. Same experience. Black hole of nothingness. Bottom Line: NO SOLAR SYSTEM. After weeks of no call-backs, I transferred the warranty and maintenance of the solar system (yes, you can do this) to South Sound Solar. They were fabulous, wonderful, and got both the solar system and the monitoring system back up and running. Bottom Line: They cleaned up Lumio's mess.

I am very happy with my experience with my solar project team and installation team. They were all professional and performed their services well. I would recommend that the sales team do a better job of explaining and being present with the customer through the process. Also verifying what rebates are applicable before having the customer go through the process to find out at the end that it is not applicable. The process for solar also was delayed (several months) because the carport was originally tied to my solar loan. It was determined that the builder of the carport would not be paid until after the project was completed. I had to remove the carport and pay for it myself. I recommend that once the solar system is up and operational, have someone from the company come out and explain the system and app to help ease the customer's concerns/questions.

Update: Lumio scheduled installation within a few weeks, and the crew worked quickly and efficiently during the installation. The pictures show how steep our roof is - and it rained most of the day. We are still waiting for approval from PSE. Original Post: So far we have only met the door to door crew and the sales person. I will update as we move further into this process. We are excited to get solar panels on our house and have been impressed with the customer service we have received so far from Anthony.

Great group to work with. They were very transparent through the process, their installers showed up early and provided quality work. The permitting process was tough and they managed the timeline and kept the install date, which was very important. This is a second home so we had a trip planned to manage the install and they delivered all they promised.

From the door-to-door sales guy to the surveyor to the lumio home expert to the installation crew… Lumio is amazing!! Each have made the process of switching to solar so simple. They genuinely want to make sure you feel comfortable with the process and see the benefit behind it. Highly recommend!! Shout out to the install crew… when they were unpacking our solar panels to put them up, they discovered one of the panels had been shattered due to manufacturer packaging… one of them hoped in their truck and drove to get another panel so that they could still complete the job today. If that isn’t top notch customer service… I don’t know what is! Thank you guys!
