The main point of disatisfaction with all my responses revolve around the contractor getting delivery of materials from supplier. I was told in advance that there would be a supply problem for the main components, and he agreed that he would start the install process in two parts so that I could feel more comfortable that the deposit wasn`t stolen, and when the parts do come in, they could get installed faster. This worked well. But it was still hard to see nothing getting done for 4 months waiting for the last parts. I will say, Jake Wigg has always gotten back to me within 24 hours of a call. This I feel is exceptional considering stories I have heard from others regarding contractors. Also I like the idea that I had a licensed electrician doing the entire job. I feel it was my morale responsabiliity to do this, particullarly considering my location is a reasonably good fit for PV. Now with NJ srec program, it is looking like it will be a good financial decision too. (assuming I stay in the house, I have no repairs to the system for the next 10 years, and I can get the same srec price in the future, as I got this past year.
