IQ Power

IQ Power Team did a great job, however, their communication between departments needs a little work. They were way too early for appointments or had no idea they had an appointment when we contacted them. The communication dealing with the financing company, Mosaic, also went sideways. We received a great deal from the beginning and we believe we will be happy in the long run. If it weren't for Priscilla who worked with us directly throughout the whole process we would have been very upset. She is their lifesaver in our opinion. We would recommend IQ Power to anyone needing Solar Power for their home.

One Year Since Install

We have now had our IQ Power Solar System installed for one year and we will give a thumbs up for the install. The panels look great everything appears to be working as it should but our electrical bills have shown that it was a bad investment overall. We had 31 panels installed thinking our electric bill would drop to under $100.00. It did for about 4 months but you don't realize how much the sun does not shine in the sunshine state until you get solar panels. Over the summer our bill shot back up and made us realize that the money we paid wasn't worth it. IQ power did not do a energy audit on our home during the initial visit to evaluate our needs but the issue really isn't IQ Power. That big yellow ball in the sky hides behind clouds a lot more than you think and the system you spent 10's of thousands of dollars on underperforms because of it. I would recommend putting money into really good windows and the best energy efficient AC unit you can get. Speaking from a solar customer point of view money would be better spent on downsizing the amount of solar panels to just enough to cover your AC equipment energy consumption or at least minimizing it. Switch to gas if you can. This review is by no means a diss on IQ power. They provided awesome equipment but the Florida weather makes it comparable to buying a Ferrari but only being able to drive it 25 miler per hour. Please put a lot of thought into this purchase before signing that contract. Maybe talk to some existing Solar panel owners in person and don't just rely on reviews you read online. On line reviews can be easily manipulated.

My Expeirence

The pre-installation and installation process went smoothly. The people during this process were great to work with. The only issue I had was with the attic insulation. They did not show the first scheduled time. I didn't get a call from them. I had to call the office to find out they were not coming. The second time they called and had to reschedule.

New installation

Every person involved with IQ personnel who I met during the design and installation of my solar system, was professional, respectful and talented. My questions throughout the installation process were numerous but were always answered promptly and politely and accurately. The power was turned on a few days ago and I am now looking forward to reaping the benefits of solar energy.

Great Service and Price

The consultation resulted in a higher grade panel at a reasonable price. Installation and verification through JEA was flawless. First month review indicates I am producing half the consumed electricity at this point with continuous afternoon rain and high summer heat. Will monitor production to determine if production recommendation are accurate.

Solar panel instalation

I was happy to have IQ install solar panels on my roof. Before the work was done they sent one of their employee to to check what my needs would be because i had a unique situation seeing that in 2007 i had hot water solar on my roof and the collector froze because the temperature went done to 27 degrees. they end up using my existing hot water tank with the new dumping technology and saving me money big time.

Timely response.

The process went smoothly from sales (Kyle ) to installation, My system was installed in 1 day (24 panels solar) . there was an Minor over site on the install. which cost I Q time to correct the issue. It only delayed the final inspection by 48 hours. The project was completed in less then 30 days. Now I am generating solar Power to of set my usage. IQ power is an excellent company to work with, they correct the issues in a timely manner. I am Glad I picked IQ Power to do MY project..

Hot water heater

This system is good for a family of 4 or 5 but for 2 it's not worth it.

I recommend the customer educate themselves prior to any sales event, to include what their needs are and financial options. Read all notes as to the signed contract and hold the installer to their signed word. insist on getting what you paid for by contract. As a home owner its your responsibility to know the codes and laws regarding the installation DONT be under or over sold. I am very pleased with the installation crew. Customer communication became very easy, once I requested that only, One person be the point of contact for my installation. MS Kaylin did a fantastic job in that regards. IQ will assuredly be a leader in clay county Florida in the very near future. We were the first.

I Q Power Installation at my Home

Very nice professional job , done quickly and looks good , Only problem I had with the install crew , was a seeming disregard of where on the roof they walked , stepping in valley's is a easy way to cause a leak , I had to ask twice that they try not to do that!
