I had a 15.48 kW PV system sold and installed by Insight Energy Systems. The process was smooth from the initial contact all the way through the installation. The no-pressure sales is a dramatic improvement over the cold-calls and door-to-door sales methods of other solar installers in my area. My system is exactly what was proposed in the quote and the price was the same as-quoted. I gladly recommend Insight Energy Systems to anyone considering a PV system.

We have resisted solar companies for literally 25+ years. The approach from the sales people always felt so slimy, like I was at a time share tour haha. Well on a recommendation from a friend we reached out to the owner of Insight Solar, Eric, because as my friend said, "out location was literally the best possible spot for solar" After a no sales pitch, no pressure 1st meeting with Eric we finally took the plunge. And from the installers to the back office crew I couldn't be happier we did. We are online in a few days and we are totally satisfied and happy to recommend Insight Solar. A qualiity solar company with that small, family business feel!

I couldn't be happier with my solar panel system from Insight! Adam Zucker was awesome to work with from start to finish. He is extremely knowledgeable and was always available to answer questions and make solid recommendations. The construction crew was terrific. The whole system was installed in a half day and everything looks beautiful. I'm now two months in and my electric bills have virtually disappeared. I'm really happy to support a local company and definitely recommend Insight Solar!

We began the search for a second set of solar panels because our first set, from Vivint originally but now Sunrun, weren’t producing enough to cover much of our electric bill if any. Very disappointing. Sunrun came out and that experience was also disappointing so I began to search for a local company and came across Insight Solar. Eric helped us with every step of the process and it was effortless. The installers were great and I was informed of everything that was happening by them and also by the people in the office. Stephanie and Kate were great with keeping me informed of the last steps and Stephanie walked me step by step how to turn on the panels. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is interested in solar.

I turned to Insight Solar when a friend expressed enthusiasm for her new installation. The challenge to “think globally and act locally” had been with me for years but it took a personal recommendation to make me act. I found John Boiano’s as friendly and helpful as she had indicated. The basic plan was quickly agreed on last September; most of the delay has been getting permissions for each stage of the process. The drone survey of the roof was entertaining and the entire installation of 14 panels despite the light snow, took only one day (Q-Cell 405 black panels: 14 x 405= 5.67 kW; 20.06 efficiency). It involved no mess or complications and the team was very friendly. Getting sorted out with Eversource and PowerClerk proved to be stressful but that had nothing to do with Insight Solar.

We hunted and spoke with many solar installers. Insight Solar had the best reviews and were local. They worked with us to size it to our future needs. And they were very patient taking round after round of questions. Their relationship with a local bank made getting the loan very easy. The installation happened quickly and I am very,very happy with how the finishing was handled. Every visible part of the system is thoughtfully put in place.

SOLAR PANEL REVIEW: Our home solar panels were recently installed by Insight Solar. Our contact, Brad The Solar Guy, kept us well informed and answered all our questions every step of the way. Brad the Solar guy and team did a great job and I have no hesitation in recommending them. We had a couple of hiccups but they were taken care of promptly after one call. The selling point for me was the separate insurance policy. My son bought a house with solar and the installer had gone out of business and with it his warranty. With the separate warranty I am covered no matter what happens.

I worked with Adam Zucker who was very open, honest, and helpful throughout the process. The Insight Solar team was able to install the system in just a few days and were very helpful and courteous. Unfortunately due to delays from Eversource, the system took a long time to activate and there were additional costs to make Eversource compatible to allow solar production at my property. I would definitely recommend Adam and the team at Insight Solar, but would suggest that you prepare for Eversource to drag their feet.

The sales team was excellent. Knowledgeable and professional. The office team was also excellent. Very informative and empathetic to my needs and complaints.

The installation of my system was a bumpy process. The installation crew was professional and did a nice clean job. They get 5 stars. I have issues with the quoting process and support. They get 3 stars. When my system was turned on, I found out the panels installed were not what I was quoted. While they were good, I believe them to be a notch below what I was quoted. They did compensate me for the issue. They helped me install the SolarEdge App which gives you the ability to monitor the system. This is how I found out about the panels. I am a numbers person so began to use the app to educate myself about the system's performance. In doing so came across issues and questions about the App, the SolarEdge inverter itself and the integration with Eversource. I found their response to these technical issues could be better. I thought the issues would be common to any customer's install and the answers would be readily available. Apparently, they aren't, as I have found I've had to contact Eversource and SolarEdge myself. I've been disappointed in their process for educating the customer and support on the SolarEdge products.

Decided to go with Insight Solar because they were very informative and personal. Brad the Solar guy came out and spent over 2 hours with us. Every other company zoom called. He answered all our questions and concerns. Brad took us through the step by step process of solar installation. Brad made us feel at ease with the process. Brad answered all texts and calls promptly. Also Leah kept us up to date on what was going on. Warranty was best in area. Installation crews were kind and courteous. Will definitely recommend Insight Solar to anyone looking to install solar. All around a great experience! Thanks again!

Insight Solar installed our 10k system in December 2022 and kept us in the loop with everything. If I had a question, I called , emailed or text and they got right back to me. They made it easy and handle all aspects of the project. They exceeded our expectations with attention to detail for aesthetics from the street and running of conduit in the basement.

Working with Insight Solar was very easy. Though the utility company (National Grid) seemed to install a few hurdles, Insight managed those issues on our behalf. They pointed us toward good financing and their financial/energy production analysis seems to be as promised. Government and utility PV incentives were handles by Insight, saving the frustration of those applications. The system was installed quickly, with minimal disruption.

Adam Z from Insight Solar was patient and thorough with his explanations about installing solar, and helping me with the complexities of the science and finance. He was very willing to explain things more than once. While it as taken time to actually get started up, the people from insight (Leah and Adam) kept me updated on all aspects of the project. From making the initial decisions, writing the contract,panel installation, inspections, and turning on---It's been a smooth process. In the past, I had been told several times that solar was not viable at my house. But in fact with the upgrades in solar technology I hope to generate most of the electricityt I use from solar (or close to it). m super happy to be using solar now.

We were always intrigued by the idea of solar, but were wary of the price and the headaches with installation and getting permits. Insight Solar made it all super easy and convenient. Adam, Christina, Leah and the Insight team handled everything from the initial consultation to the permits to the financing to scheduling our installation. Our biggest concern was that we needed a new roof before getting the install done. Insight even handled scheduling that part of the process for us. It was also more affordable than we expected (even with the new roof rolled in). Best of all, we're expecting to save around $1200/year (even with our loan) and be able to 100% offset our electric output with our new solar system. Our only regret about solar — we wish we had this done 10 years ago.

Great company. I was initially worried because I thought solar panels might ruin my house's aesthetic. But Adam, my sales rep, listened to my concerns and assured me that Insight's team would preserve the look of the house. And they did. Moreover, no one along the way gave me any resistance or made me feel like I was being unreasonable -- even when I was. And the result is that the house looks terrific-- even to my hyper-critical friends.

After a long research of different solar companies I met with Patrick Murphy and he was one of the best informed and knowledgeable person he had a very good approach to the whole idea of switching to solar and I glad I did

I chose insight because our sales rep Brad Carmody explained everything in detail, he spent a couple of hours with us and went over every minute thing there was dove in depth with every question we had and didn’t BS us about anything. Even after the deal was done Brad answered my calls and requests for updates and information I had forgotten. The installation crew was very professional everyone of them had a great attitude and was very personable. After install Mark had to come back to check on the WiFi portion of the system and would not leave until the system reader was operating properly, and I will add it was a pleasure dealing with him. As far as the office personnel goes I was met with nothing but respect and a friendly voice on the other end every time I called. My questions were always answered and if they weren’t a call back was given with the answers on the same day. It was quite possibly the smoothest transaction I have ever been a part off when dealing with contractors, sales people, financial institutions, and especially customer service. I am very happy with everyone from Brad(sales), Leah,(customer service as well as another woman in the office who’s name slips my mind but she was just as great as Leah), mark and others(install crew) the gentleman who inspected the roof, and the bank folks were all A+ top notch professionals. Highly recommended and I can’t say enough good about my experience. We were even hooked up and system running ahead of schedule. Thank you to all involved.

Eric and Leah were also very helpful throughout the process. The install happened as they said it would, within the timeframe and cost estimated. I wanted to learn as much as I could to determine if going solar was a good option for me. I spoke with 3 different companies to compare information, Insight being one of them. I chose Insight for a few important reasons. Of course price was important, although I think they were all pretty comparable, but Insight’s was the best option for me. Although, one company was outrages in their offer with including the price of a new roof. Insights offer with a roof included was better, but I had my own roof guy in my family so I didn’t need that option. Another BIG reason was Petrus, my sales rep. He was super informative and patient with me trying to understand everything...always! And he wasn’t pressuring a sales pitch on me like one of the other companies I spoke with. He explained everything in terms that were understandable and the what the whole process would be like. Petrus, from Insight was confident with the plan for my panels and gave me the information I needed to make an educated decision. I felt confident that I was doing the right thing! I’m very happy with Insight Solar and if everyone is like Petrus, you’ll have a good experience in your solar journey with Insight!
