Do not use IES solar
Received the full Solar Panel rooftop system in 2018. Two weeks ago, we had a roof leak and low behold; it was only under the panels, where the bolts and flashings were improperly installed. I was told by IES that their workmanship is only 5 yrs, and I should've known the workmanship was deficient sooner. Two roofers and one insurance claim later, I am out of pocket roughly $9,000 to pay for the solar panel fix, as defective workmanship is not covered by homeowners or additional endorsements. The leak could have begun much sooner, but in Texas, the rains rarely come often or as strong as recently. We found the leak only after it made its way through the attic into our second-floor bedrooms. In addition, the only way we knew the work was deficient was due to a prolonged leak, exacerbated by a rainstorm. I would avoid IES if you are planning to go solar. They do not stand by their work, and their compromise was that I pay them to fix the work they performed.

Horrible customer service
IES installed my system in March 2023, and informed Sunlight that the system was good to go, even though Centerpoint had not approved and it needed fixing. IES did not come out to fix the system until 4 months later, in July, but did not inform Sunlight about the system not being approved, and I kept getting charged by Sunlight in the meantime. IES promised to reimburse me 3 months of payments I made while system was not active, but later backtracked on their promise. Bryan Garcia and Brandon Rickett have given me the runaround for months and ignored my calls, texts, voicemails, and emails. The price is cheap, but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired, and they will completely block you out once the system is installed and they get their money. Beware!
