Overview of HPM Solar
HPM Solar is not your typical solar company. We are a customer-focused, integrity-driven solar Installation company based in Claremont, California. HPM Solar, established in 2010, provides high quality solar consulting, solar management, and solar installation throughout Southern California. HPM Solar's mission is to guide clients towards a renewable energy future that maximizes energy savings, mitigates carbon pollution, and bolsters energy independence. We offer a first year production guarantee and 100% satisfaction with every installation. History Established in 2010. About the Team Dan Moncayo, Solar Consultant/Manager, helped to establish Home Performance Matters back in 2010 with co-founder Andrew Durben. Together they established an award-winning energy efficiency construction business based in Claremont, CA. The goal then (which continues today) was to help homeowners lower utility bills and improve comfort through smart energy upgrades such as wall insulation, duct replacement, attic insulation, efficient heating and cooling, efficient dual pane windows with Low(e) coating, and solar panels. Home Performance Matters helped customers to receive over $2 Million dollars in Energy Upgrade California rebates. HPM Solar is a completely independent offshoot of the original Home Performance Matters company with 100% focus on helping both residential and commercial customers analyze and develop custom solar panel installation solutions. Business Owner Dan Moncayo earned a degree from U.C. Berkeley in Development Studies, holds an MBA from the Leeds school of Business at the University of Colorado at Boulder, and has attained a BPI (Building Performance Institute) Analyst certification and C-46 Solar Contractors' License. Dan is passionate about helping customers save money while encouraging stewardship of natural resources by harnessing the renewable power of the sun. When Dan is not analyzing utility bills, he enjoys spending time hiking, camping, and mountain biking with family and friends in the outdoors.

Excellent solar company
Excellent solar company! Mark Medina and Josh Lomeli where are fantastic to work with. Josh has been out to the house several times after installation which happened in December of last year. He takes time out of his day to make sure that my husband and I understand how to best use our system. We had a solar system installed in December with two back up batteries. HPM it’s a small company with a great deal of integrity. There was no hard cell pitch or pressure. We purchased what we wished and they were happy to install it and help us to get the most out of it. They are fantastic company and I especially am grateful to Josh Lomeli for all of his extra helpAnd making use of our system. He has gone above and beyond the call of duty. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to install solar.
