Harvest Power installed my solar panels as a first time home buyer. Harvest Power was very professional upon installing the panels. Kevin was my consultant, he was very polite and professional and was always there to answer any questions or concerns I had. I definitely would recommend Harvest Power to family and friends that has an interest upon installing solar panels for their home..

OMG! John C was great! The whole experience was great actually!

I had 2 other companies come and deliver their sales pitch.. and then I politely threw them out of my house! John Campbell, from Harvest Power, was the next.. he could answer all of our questions, he didn't push his products or his service at all.. he's a very charismatic man and you just feel so comfortable talking and listening to him. He continued to keep me updated with each step of the way.. permits, PSEG coming, and finally, my install. John even came over during the install to make sure we were satisfied!! All the men doing the install were friendly and knowledgeable too.. it felt more like a family than a company!! My savings started DURING the install!! I'm so happy now and I just wish we had done this much sooner.. thanks Harvest and especially John Campbell!!!

Jeff is awesome and we felt confident about the whole process! He explains everything you need to know and we knew it was what we needed to do with no doubts or second guessing anything. Installation went well. The men did a great job! Everything went smoothly with no problems. In one week, we reversed our meter reading to the last reading with PSEGLI and that was with some rainy days. Now we are banking energy! It’s a great feeling when we see our meter going backwards. Love it! Definitely no regrets! Only that we didn’t do it sooner!

Great job all around

I looked into solar but needed a new roof since we had 3 layers of shingles. Jeff was great had answered all our questions and had alot of knowledge of the industry. He kept me up to date on a tight deadline going into year end of 2019 so we could lock in the max tax credits. I have spoken about possibly leasing to other companies but it only made sense financially in the long run to purchase panels. Day of the install was rescheduled due to heavy rain so we moved it ro minimize risk of leaks. Before finalizing the panel placement we were concerned having a ranch house installing panels on front of our new roof. After seeing the job completed it looked great and asthetically was very sleek. I have neigbors who got ugly junction boxes and metal cables running on their roof from installed by other solar companies. But I really like the panels on my roof. I am very glad we chose Harvest Power they really did a fantastic job from the start to finish.

I have been looking into going solar for a few years and met with a lot of companies. After meeting with Jeff he took the time to explain everything to me and was very patient informative. The day the system was installed the workers were very professional and neat. My solar system has been up and running for the last 5 months and we cant be happier. Found them by online search to do solar on roof of my house. Selected out of 3 companies, each provided quote and was communicated. Worked with Jeff. He explained multiple options suitable to my situation allowing me to decide which one to go with. Kept me informed with process updates as well personally checked installation. Installation team was highly professional and very neat. All paper work by now is in, as well complete cycle bill from PSEG with credit kWatts. Trees around house don't have to be touched - for me it was quite important. Thank you guys for excellent work!

60kW rooftop - excellent install, professionalism, service

I acquired a 60kW rooftop system from Harvest (Carlo and Tom) in MA. I can't speak highly enough of the quality of their install; professionalism with the customer and with me as the owner; and their ability to work through utility delays in a timely manner. The project is producing energy and meeting all estimated production expectations. Would recommend working with them in NY, MA, or elsewhere.

If you’re reading this you are either interested or skeptical in solar energy. Or both. I was in the same boat as you. But let me assure you that if you call Harvest Power and talk to Jeff Homire, sales team manager, you will fully understand how Solar will work for your home, how it’s beneficial financially and Jeff will set your mind at ease. There is no pressure involved. He has tons of experience so he knows what he’s talking about. Call him (631-553-1319) or email him (jhomire@harvestpower.net) if you are still on the fence. My biggest take away in dealing with Jeff is that he is NOT going to try to sell you on his system. He wants to answer every possible question you may have so YOU can make the right decision. I still don’t understand why everyone doesn’t have solar. There was no out-of-pocket at all. Plus, I save money every month! My Solar was installed seamlessly in less than one day. The crew was professional and clean. Jon McKibbin, electrician, was outstanding!! Jon explained EVERYTHING that was going to happen. Even after a week of installation I had a question and Jeff Homire answered my text immediately and called me back within 10 minutes. There are a few different Solar companies out there. Do yourself a favor and go with Harvest Power. I can’t tell you how happy I am with the entire process from start to finish.

Best Solar Company to partner with on Long Island!

Lets Face it, there's a TON of Solar Companies on Long Island trying to SELL you Panels. Harvest Power is NOT like that AT ALL. They want to PARTNER with you! From the Moment I met their Team Lead Jeff Homire to the final handshake after the install was complete, I felt comfortable and in control. Jeff understood my needs and worked with me to understand the process from the initial site survey, review of the paperwork, options for financing, how much energy I would produce, the install and finally the closeout process. He was responsive and knowledgeable with every question I had asked. Install: The Install was AWESOME 4 gentlemen were on the job the entire day. (I dont even think they took a lunch!) The electrician Mike was awesome. He showed me the entire setup and worked to keep everything moving along. Speaking of the install. CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN... I requested, if it was possible to "hide" the conduit from the Array to the Electric behind the house rather then having PVC pipes all over the front of the house. He said no problem, and was able to run it without it being obvious! Any mess the crew made, it was not there when they left. That speaks VOLUMES when working with contractors. There's nothing worse then having to clean up behind a contractor's crew (screws, water bottles, etc) If it wasn't for the fact I was outside when they were done I wouldn't of known they were even there. The Panels: The Look of the panels installed is really slick. I've seen Solar installs that in all honestly, look UGLY. I know that sounds crazy it's a bunch of metal and silicon and plastic, but these panels look AWESOME. All BLACK panels make a big difference on a roof. They blend into the roof and you dont even notice they are there. Performance: While I cant make a "official" decision on if the investment was worth it, the first few days so far show I did not make a mistake by choosing this path. I wish I had made it earlier... Followup: While I dont expect to have to follow up or have any issues, I know for a fact that if I do Jeff and the rest of Harvest Power will do what needs to be done to make whatever issue I got right. I would recommend Harvest to anyone who's ever thinking of Solar!

Worked with Roger throughout the whole process. He was really helpful and great person to work with. Researched all the different companies in New York and Harvest Power is definitely the best company. Everyone is so nice from the install crew, to everyone that works in the office.

I was considering to go the way of solar but I needed to complete a few more upgrades on my house. I got a few other quotes in the past but was not comfortable with their process. Spoke with Will and he explained it all and showed me how much money I could save, after all, it's about the dollars. I've had other contractors do work on my house and was not satisfied with there work and attitude, needless to say, I threw them out. You people were true professionals, I'll recommend HARVEST POWER to everyone, please don't change, and keep upyour A game.

$aving Money Already

Jeff came highly recommended from a friend and did not disappoint. He sat with us and walked us through the process--he did all the paperwork with PSE&G and the CO's. It was so easy. We're already producing more power than we need and plan to save even more money on our oil bills as we add electric heating. Wish we did this sooner!

Phenomenal

They actually found us. We had seen a truck with their name on it quite a while ago & was wondering where they were from. A young man came knocking on our door & just asked if we would set up an appointment with the sales rep to hear what he had to say. We agreed as we were thinking of going solar anyway. Josh Rogers showed within the week & went thru every aspect of what the job would entail. He was absolutely professional & answered all of our questions. Talking to him was like hanging out with a friend. The team that came to replace our roof, was very courteous & quick. They tore off the old roof & put the new one on within a couple of hours. There was no evidence (other than looking at a nice new roof) that they had been here. At the end of the week, the 2nd crew came & installed the panels. Again, very courteous, professional & clean. They had no problem answering any questions. I can't say it enough, how friendly, knowledgable & professional they are.

Excellent Customer Service

I chose Harvest Power because of their superior customer service. I had already elected to go with another company and at the last minute scheduled an appointment with Harvest Power. I was so impressed with their knowledge, and willingness to work with my personal situation we ended up making a deal right then and there. I had a great subsequent experience with the inspection, permits, and installers. Everyone was courteous and knowledgeable - very professional and business like. After a month and a half I finally set up my monitoring and was pleasantly surprised that I already have energy stored up! I am absolutely thrilled!
