Harvest Power LLC

Great Experience

We interviewed four solar companies before making the decision to go with Harvest. As soon as Jeff sat down with us, we could tell he was not just another solar salesperson going through a pitch. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional. Any questions we had were answered immediately via phone call, text or email. Jeff was on point with every estimate: how much we needed to produce, the permit process, the installation and functionality of the system. The installers arrived promptly and everything went up without a hitch. In a week the system is already exceeding my expectations. We cannot be happier with our decision to go solar and most importantly choosing to work with the fantastic team at Harvest Power.

Amazing company

Answered all my questions... spoke to me honestly about what my options were. Very professional and quick with the process!!!! Highly recommend!

Great Experience!

From start to finish Harvest Power was very professional and customer oriented. Valerie was especially helpful in walking us through the entire process step by step. She was very hands on and available to answer our questions at any time. We would highly recommend Harvest Power to our neighbors and friends.

Strong Recommendation on Harvest Power

I invited 6 solar companies (3 regional/national companies and 3 local to Long Island) to provide quotes for my residential solar system. The prices were all competitive (this was for an owner purchased system, not leased and no power purchase agreement) but Harvest Power rose above the others due to a relatively pain free sales process and high up front support (they brought in their install team leader and Master Electrician to answer all my questions, and as an Engineer I had a lot of questions). I have now been running for over 6 months and the solar production has exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend Harvest Power and will also share what I have learned in my research (and what helped steer me to Harvest): 1) Read the fine print and if you don’t understand what you are seeing, run it by a lawyer! Some of the solar companies I spoke with had particularly onerous terms and conditions (T&Cs). Harvest had very reasonable, homeowner friendly terms (as of this writing). I got the feeling that they support their installs and don’t need to hide behind legal terms that would get them off the hook later if there is a problem. 2) As you read through the reviews on this website and others, look out for the fakes. When a local company is showing 3 times the number of reviews of a national company that does substantially more installs, most of the reviews are 4 to 5 stars, and many of the reviews are clustered around specific points in time, beware. Maybe they have an exceptionally high percentage of happy customers motivated to write reviews, or maybe they have a very aggressive Marketing organization.

Solar panel installation

Alicia and the Crew at Harvest power were very helpful and informative. Any questions we had were quickly answered. I would recommend Harvest Power.

Harvest Power installation was great!

We had solar panels installed by Harvest Power. What a wonderful job they did. From start to finish the job went smoothly and quickly. Alicia DiStefano was our sales rep. She was on target at all times. Any questions we had, which were few, you were able to get I touch with her quickly and she answered them just as fast. Our electric bill is non existing. Very happy with a job well done.

Pat

Excellent company! Lenney Peters answered Every question we had. Patient, polite & professional! Installation was worry free & we love our panels!

I wish I could do it again!

I have had my array now for a year and half and it is operating wonderfully (installed June 2015! The process from start to finish was smooth, simple and under a "no pressure" scenario. Jeff is a great salesman and always available for quick questions and even will stop by for a one-on-one visit. I also love the SolarEdge monitoring. Many friends have signed up since with them based on my experience. If I ever move to a new house calling Harvest Power will be one of the first phone calls to get the new house set up right away. There is literally no reason to not get solar! As a side note I want to mention how clean, quick, and quiet the installation was. I was home with my 10 month old at the time in our ranch house and she was able to sleep right through it.

Excellent!

Harvest Power handled our solar panel process with the upmost professionalism. The company was prompt with all paperwork, deadlines, engineering and installation. Staff was friendly, knowledgable and helpful. Highly recommend Harvest Power.

Consumer Installation

My husband and I had Harvest Power Solar install panels on our house two and a half years ago. Jeffrey Homire was our contact with the company. He was terrific. Not only was he punctual and personable he was very informative. We did not know much about solar. Jeffrey took us through all of the steps and the pros and cons to purchasing or leasing. On the day of installation, the crew were efficient, on time and really great to work with. I have recommended them to any one that will listen to me.

Great company!!

This has been the single greatest investment I've made in my home. Jeff and his team were professional and the installation went smooth. The panels have exceeded their anticipated performance. I would highly recommend Harvest Power if you are thinking about going solar. You will not be disappointed !! Nothing beats a $13 electric bill in July !!

Bruce

I was very satisfied with the installation. We're saving a bundle over the long term in energy costs. Everything the sales rep (Jeff Homire) went over with us from the pricing to the installation date was on target. I'd definitely recommend this company to anyone considering switching over to solar energy.

Totally satisfied, and would recommend to anyone going solar.

I was, and still am, so very pleased with my choice to 'go with' Harvest Power. The sales staff was knowledgeable, and not the slightest bit 'pushy'. I really appreciated that, as this was a large investment for me and my family. Lenny Peters and his crew took the time to answer my questions, however small and silly they may have been. They educated me about solar panels, specifications, and usage in the process, and I am completely satisfied and confident I made the right choice with Harvest Power. Would def recommend them to anyone who is looking to go solar. Many companies offer similar products for similar prices (actually HP was a bit lower), but it was the personal touch, and comfort factor, that was ONLY present at Harvest. That was my deciding factor.

Great company

The sales man Lenney was far more knowledgeable than the other companies. He was on time, professional and took the time to help us though out the process. The process was quick and easy. Install took less than a day. They were clean and efficient. Go solar, use Harvest Power and ask for Lenney. You will be in good hands.

Excellent Service

Harvest Power was helpful, professional, knowledgable, and overall the right choice for our home.

Harvest Power - Lenney Peters

Mr. Peters was extremely informative and the whole process was so easy. Thanks to Mr. Peters and Harvest Power for helping us be more green. I highly recommend switching to solar.

Lenney answered all of our questions and made the entire process seamless. We were very impressed with his attention to detail and his dedication to making us happy. Our system was up and working quickly after installation and we have been saving money ever since! If you are looking to bring solar power to your home, Harvest Power is the one to use!

Best Solar company around!

The crew at Harvest Power were very knowledgeable and professional. From the first consultation to the install, they went through every step of the process with us and explained all aspects of the job in detail. Lenney made sure we were kept up to date with the progress of the job and thoroughly answered any questions we had. Any messages we left were promptly returned, any appointments we made with either the sales team or the engineer were always on schedule. This company is run by dedicated hard-working people who genuinely care about the customer! I would highly recommend Harvest Power if you are looking to go to solar power in your home. We are extremely happy with both the company and the product!!

Excellent

We couldn't be happier with Harvest Power! Loving our panels and the money we are saving every month! Feom the initial consultation to the installation, the process was smooth and handled very professionally.

Excellent Service!

We are very happy with Lenney and the Harvest Solar team. Lenny always answers all our questions promptly. The contract signing was effortless and the team came on time and was very professional. The follow up service is phenomenal. We highly recommend Harvest!

Great job, highly recommend

Very reliable service. Our family is very happy with our choice to go with Harvest Power. Everything went as scheduled and our panels are working well.

Harvest Power Surpassed My Expectations

I had 3 company's bid on my solar project for my residence in Brookhaven Hamlet. I chose Harvest because the sales consultant was more knowledgeable and conservative in my projected solar output ( we actually are surpassing projections). We purchased our system and did not want to lease. Our project was signed in 11/2014 and installed in 1/2015. I just had our taxes done and the Federal and State rebates were slightly more than Harvest projected ( 3k more). I will be getting a tax refund and be able to completely pay off the temporary "Green Sky" loan that Harvest set up ( as we were initially told by our sales consultant). In short, Harvest is the choice and if I were considering an installation on a second home I wouldn't give it a second thought. Also - installation was started and completed in 5 hours - Harvest actually had to shove snow off my roof. Clean installation - electrical inspector complimented me on the quality workmanship.
