These guys really are hi tech and explain things very well. All is working as they said and they will tell you if your site is viable for panels or not.

Stay Clear of this company

We have been attempting to get our system operational since June 1, it's now Aug 30 and still waiting. I have had to do the leg work to get the permission to operate submitted. The installer has sent 2 bounced checks to our township and still is outstanding as of Aug 30. The communication is typically one sided, we reach out and getting a response is 50/50. We were told since the system was not operational, yet they would reimburse us, but we have not yet received that reimbursement yet since Aug 4. This company has been nothing but frustrating since the system was installed. Seems like a bunch of lip service and no delivery!!!!!

Update

I was contacted by two of their managers, and they offered to pay 2 months of the solar for the inconvenience. I appreciate the gesture, and my solar is finally up and running properly.

We love our solar!!

My husband and I decided to go solar over a year ago. Every person we worked with was knowledgeable and helpful. They returned our phone calls quickly with every question we had. Our electric bills are around $10.00 a month (we do have monthly payment of the solar panels since we financed them). Would we do it again. Yes. It has been an excellent experience that will pay off in the long run!

Horrible experience

Here we go: 1.The original project manager assigned to me never reached out, and a new one had to be assigned after I reached out(Tim Barut) salesman was Harold Shields. 2. Installer didn't show up to do the site evaluation and I never received an update. I had to call to reschedule. 3. Installer took weeks to show up to do the installation after the panels were sitting for weeks in my garage. Had to reschedule two times and there was only one person installing the panels making the install process take weeks, only to be failed when doing the final inspection, and another reschedule was needed. 4.I was told I would not see the first bill on my solar loan until 2 months after installation. It's only been a few weeks since the installer passed the final inspection, and I'm getting my first solar bill along with a utility bill because my system is as of this moment still waiting for permission to operate. 5. I have tried reaching out to Tim and Harold over the past few days and I have not received a call back, it's the end of the day and I'm now writing this review. TLDR: Terrible communication, taking so long I now have a solar bill and a utility bill due in the same month. Highly discourage going with GHS.

Solar panels

We love are system, Mara Warlker is very helpful, she answered all of are questions. We save so much $ here in AZ. We didn't pay for electricity for 6 months. It saves us $ during the summer months in AZ. they are so wonderful. Helpful and friendly and great customer service.

My Solar

Last year i purchased solar panels from Green Home Systems. This group of people are fantastic to work with. Mara Walker, was so patience and kind to answer all my questions . Nick L ( project manager) could not have been more patience with me. He answered all my questions (twice) sometimes. Green Solar Home Systems are FANTASTIC, I looked into other companies that sold solar power they came out the best. I wish i could have done this sooner. My power bill went from 135.00 per month to around 17.00 to 30.00 . So if you are looking for solar give them a call.

Happy customer

The men who came to install were on time and very polite and courteous of my working from home. They let me know the steps along the way, even though it did take almost a week for install. The system works fantastic! It cut my winter bill in HALF and since April I have had a credit bill! So I'm making money each month. Couldn't be happier!

Great

Great customer service and knowledgeable staff

I chose this company because they were willing to allow me to own the solar panels. My company contact person was always available to keep me updated and answer questions. The contractors they sent were kind and efficient. Every time I receive an electric bill, which is most often $10.09 a month, it makes me happy to know that I am contributing so little to PECO, who furnish most of their electricity from dirty coal-fired plants.

I would have them do work for me again

We have a good experience from sales to installation. The company fielded all of our questions and addressed concerns as the project progressed.

Service went smoothly from install to upstart. Just wish the panels were a bit cheaper but they are worth it.

Install was good, they took care of everything. After the installation, everything worked well and the expected generated energy was very close. I would recommend using them to install your own panels.

Green Home Systems handled the installation of our home solar system. They did a great job of coordinating the entire process from dealing with the electric company to the nearly impossible task of getting all of the permits and inspections taken care of. We have had our system up and running for three years and are very happy with it…especially our electric bills, or should I say the lack of them!

The process was very easy, the installation crew was amazing. The only complaint I can think of is the follow up after the install is lacking.

These guys were great helping me determine the best system for my home. The installers were local and did a great job. The system is fantastic. I have no complaints and have recommended them to family and friends.

Excellent experience

Excellent experience from start to finish, from financial assistance to install to system function, questions, etc.! Itai has been great with after sales/install support!

Everything went good system has been up for a year and a half no problems everyone did what they said they would . Very happy sofar.

GOOD EXPERIENCE ALL AROUND

We had 3 other quotes and this was our last one. My salesperson, Itai was more knowledgeable than all of those combined. He took the time to explain the differences between the equipment, warranty, and future implications of picking certain types of equipment. He was able to give us a better interest rate than the other companies, and better equipment. He wasn't pushy, answered our questions and we now consider him our friend. The installers are nice, our ground mounted system is up and running. 5 Stars.
