Very Happy With My Solar System

I evaluated quotes from three PV companies before I placed an order for a 24-panel PV system with Energy Monster. Here are the three reasons: The publicly traded company that I favored first wanted me to sign away my consumer rights, (1) with no such provisions in Energy Monster's contract, (2) a good price and (3) Dan G., the very knowledgeable and dedicated sales manager / project manager / system engineer as the main contact, I felt safe placing my order with Energy Monster. During installation a few obstacles had to be overcome, all of which were related to the town's permitting process and required licenses. All that got resolved without incident eventually. The installation crew – Chris B. (Master Electrician) and Brandon T. – did an outstanding job installing the solar system. It passed all inspections with flying colors. There were no start-up problems. In summary: Energy Monster's pricing was good, they selected first tier 1 solar panels and inverters, work dedication, workmanship, project management and technical expertise were outstanding. I like that no electric cables are visible. Energy Monster used a roof penetrating feedthrough, which is located underneath the panels. It was tested thoroughly during the torrential rainstorms in the months following the installation. Not a single drop of water was leaking through. Since August 1, 2018 my PV system produces energy. During the 5 months till the end of the year I harvested 2,936 kWh. I live in Milford, NH. I have 24 LG 320Watt NeON2 panels with Enphase micro inverters. I am very happy with the solar system.

best money invest on my new house

I just bought a new house and did tons of work in the house. Out of all the money I spent on the house, installation of solar pane with Dan and Chris team was the best money spent and best house upgrade experience. They handled all the work very professionally with promptness. Always on schedule and informing me of the next step even before I ask. I would recommend Dan and Chris to anyone who is looking to install solar panel for their house.

Dan, Chris and the team has been great!

I installed a 9kw solar panel this summer in my Franklin, MA home. Dan was great in streamlining the installation and was there whenever I needed information from regarding the Solar loan. Chris, the lead engineer who did the installation is also a great person who will take the time to explain everything to you if asked. My production has been close to what was estimated, even with the extremely rainy season we've just had. All in all, I'd recommend Energy Monster to my friends.They are a great local company who will give you the attention deserved; Single handedly beats the 'big guys'.

Overall Amazing Experience

Energy monster installed my solar system on my roof. I spoke with a guy named Brandon who did my site visit, walked me through the process and explained everything I needed to know. I talked to dan back and fourth till we agreed on plans that I approved of. I genuinely liked that my opinion was heard and they did what they thought was best but I had final say. The electrician, Lyle came over a few weeks later with his crew and got the job done quick and it looks amazing. They ran pipe through my attic and vacuumed afterwards. No trace they had ever been there and didn’t inconvenience us at all. I would highly recommend this company if you are interested in installing solar panels. I had no issues or problems. They didn’t try to sell me anything extra, (which other companies tried to do). I told them what I wanted and they made it happen. Very happy with the way this project came out. Energy monsters solar team is amazing!

Choosing Energy Monster for my solar project has had to be the easiest choice I've ever made hands down! Dan was awesome and knowledgeable. Not only did they have the best quote but they also were very professional and easy to work with throughout the whole process. Now let me tell you when they came to install and they told me they were finished I didn't believe them, I had to run outside and see for myself. Energy Monster's Project Manager, Design Engineer, Sells rep and field technicians were all very knowledgeable, took their to come up with the most efficient and affordable method to save energy at my property. The team did not measure any efforts in every detail of my project. Additionally, the Project Manager accepted that their bid for the project was not the only one; he was able to counter-offer all other bidders, offering a better price. Finally, I was confident that Energy Monster was the right contractor for this project, considering their determination, and warmth passed along. I would recommend and will definitely hire their services again once needed.

Hardworking, Modern Technology, All-around Excellence

Tired of getting gouged by ever-inflating electricity and propane prices, we decided to go solar and chose EnergyMonster as our partner. I won't ding EM on a star for this but we were a bit disheartened when the installation didn't begin until months after the contract was signed so we missed out on a summer's worth of solar production. In every other regard, however, EnergyMonster didn't disappoint. The engineer on our project was very insightful, tech savvy, and up-to-date on all things solar. He was also involved in the sales process which was valuable to both myself and EM. Typical Solar companies lack in this regard as they just send out pitch-men with a script. Dan G. is at top of the top of his class and was able to address each and every concern. A team of just two, very hardworking, individuals performed the 38-panel installation in a little over a week. They were very kind, courteous, and worked around our schedule. The electrical work was phenomena: extremely clean, organized, and tightly-knit. Overall, the EnergyMonster team is comprised of down-to-earth people which is very refreshing these days. Additionally, EM provides the latest and greatest technology which others do not (despite what they may pitch to you). I would highly recommend over competing companies such as Tesla/Solar City (the Wal-Mart of Solar) as these guys truly know their stuff and remain passionate.

Easy, Fast, Very Responsive 7.68K 24 LG Panels

Dan (Systems Engineer) and Lyle (Installer) were professional, easy to work with and responded to every question within minutes. System was installed quickly and without any hiccups. All arrangements with NGrid and my town were handled directly by Energy Monster. The application and installation process was described and completed transparently. The panels look terrific on my roof! I would recommend that if you are shopping around for solar you give Energy Monster a call and put your mind at ease.

Good install

Dan was very helpful, guided us through the whole process. Things went a little slow due to the high demand for people trying to get in before the end of the SREC program, but we were always kept up to date. No complaints.

Energy Monster Install

We had Energy Monster install 124 panels on my new shop. The process was easy and on schedule. I was in touch with Dan the entire time and he walked me through all of the paperwork that needed to be completed, showed me the designs as they were completed and kept me informed the entire time. We had an excellent experience with Energy Monster with our recent residential solar installation from start to finish. The process was made simple from initial conversation with Orlando, followed by detailed step-by-step technical guidance from Dan and smooth installation by Chris. They took care of all pre-project tasks like approvals & inspections and handled all post-project tasks like integration with electrical distributor & production monitoring system. Happy We Chose Energy Monster Solar

Earlier this year we approached Energy Monster's for a solar system quote for our property located in Worcester. We considered a couple options including a lease type program offered by another company. If you plan to own your home for a while, the own vs. lease/rent is a hands down winner financially speaking. I suggest running the numbers and/or possibly speaking with your accountant before finalizing the decision. We found the sales engineer Dan to be friendly, patient and knowledgeable as he guided us through the sales process. Dan advised us on USA made panels that matched our roof color and suggested the addition of some snow guards to prevent snow from dumping off our steep roof line into the walkway underneath. Not sure how the guards work as we haven't seen snow yet but I appreciate the preventative suggestion. Eric lead the installation- from beginning to end the process took about 4.5 months. There were some delays during the installation- our town's electrical inspector was very particular and challenging to coordinate schedules with. So far, the panel configuration has produced the solar power as promised. We are able to monitor production through an app on our phone and we've seen our electricity bills disappear. Hope that continues into the winter months :). If you are interested in solar, I recommend you speak with Energy Monster and gather the information you need to make a decision thats good for your planet and your wallet.

We recently had Energy Monster install solar panels on our house in Needham. Everything went well and our electric meter is happily running backwards. I started out knowing little about solar power. I got quotes from several suppliers and went through various design iterations. Dan answered my questions and concerns promptly and we settled on a practical and cost-effective solution. When Chris came out for the site survey he added to my confidence that I had made the right choice. He and Brandon did a very professional, efficient and clean installation. Finally, Dan came to the house for the “commissioning” and to show me the cool software that lets me monitor my system’s performance from anywhere in the world. He flew the company drone to take “sun’s-eye” views of the finished product. With Energy Monster I made the right choice financially, technically and practically. I highly recommend them to anyone considering a solar power system.

I had Energy Monster do my energy audit, insulation work and install 34 LG panels on two roofs, the installers did a great job on all services performed. Would do business again, highly recommended!

Excellent service

The process was very simple and great from start to finish. The pricing was transparent and energy monster provided us 20 years of workmanship warranty. Dan is a great guy to work with. The electrician Chris was also very nice in completing the install on time. We finally made a good decision to go with energy monster after months of checking with other guys.

Good Choice

The team that did the ground installation was professional. They left the worksite clean everyday and they were also personable. I could have used a written outline of all the things I'd have to do meaning the portals to sign up for and when. Those weren't hard to do at all, it's just that I didn't know I had to do them or when to do them. But it all worked out and we've had $0 electric bills for months.

Excellent Service

I spent more time, I think, than most people researching different panels, installers, and layouts for my project. Realizing that I'd be looking at these panels for 20+ years, I didn't want to go with yesterday's technology but I also didn't want to overpay for tomorrow's. Dan was very patient and helpful, answering all my questions and working within my budget to get 16 365W LG panels instead of 21 275W panels that other installers were pushing and for more money. Looking back, I'm very happy I chose Energy Monster over the several other options I had considered. Needing to complete the project by the end of the year, Dan and Chris worked overtime with me to make sure the installation and all the paperwork got filed on time. Anyone planning to use National Grid's solar tariff program in RI (it's worth it!) should make sure they get started early to have a buffer with the various beauraucratic obstacles that can arise along the way. In the end, I'm quite happy with my installation -- it looks clean and has been working without a hitch. The only issue is that my production for the first 3 months is below what I was expecting because of all the bad weather -- I'm expecting things will overproduce in the summer. However, people thinking about installing panels might want to treat their winter estimates a bit more conservatively.

Excellent experience from original estimate through completion 12/1/16. Work crew were very diligent to run cables,etc. in our preferred sites. Dan G. remained available to help get system up and running and returned one year later for further refreshing. System has run flawlessly since the start, yielding the predicted energy and generating the predicted SRECS (production credits).Price was as quoted.
