Had solar panels install on my roof based on their service guarantee. Any damage to the roof would be repaired and a 25yr leak guarantee. Well, we are in the process of selling our home and a roof inspector informed us of multiple broken tiles and exposed areas of the roof where the broken pieces had fallen away. I reached out to Energy Concepts and spoke to Briana & Andrew to express my frustration that this was damaged and not repaired. Home Buyer has now requested that another company repair as they do not feel comfortable that Energy Concepts Fresno will properly repair the damage from this exposure. When I sent the info for the repairs, I can't get a reply from the company. I call and email but being avoided. So as long as you have ZERO issues, they will take your call. Have an issue, get GHOSTED. Thanks Energy Concepts Fresno. Jason Pugh, Jim Pugh, Briana Salas, and Andrew. I guess I just get to deal with this on my own.

We chose Energy Concepts because the sales person seemed the most honest of all the sales persons we met. We were correct, Energy Concepts (EC) gave us a schedule and began weekly updates as soon as the contract was signed. Their work was always ahead of schedule, professional and quality work. The Fresno City inspector that did the final inspection indicated that EC had done good work and his job would be easy if other companies did work as good as EC. Before making my choice to go with Matt at Energy Concepts I did a lot of research which lead me to deciding between 2 companies. At first I opted for another company based on cost but soon found out that while Energy Concepts was upfront and honest not all other companies are. That companies price quickly surpassed what Energy Concepts quoted me so I opted out and called Matt. Save yourself the time and aggravation, go with Energy Concepts from the start. Matt is honest, attentive and extremely knowledgeable. They are competitively priced(not all solar panels are equal, if you are looking for the best bang for your buck these are you guys) and fair. As far as the install goes and general aesthetics, it’s perfect. I was promised it would be clean, it couldn’t be better. No visible conduit, no look of work done at all, just glorious money saving panels on my roof that look like they were simply placed there. The install crew was prompt, clean and respectful of my home and family. All in all I couldn’t recommend Matt and Energy Concepts more, thank you!

Outstanding installation, workmanship, functionality

When I first met with Jason I knew I was in good hands. His team was so helpful and knowledgeable of the whole process of purchasing a solar system. Energy Concepts is a first class operation and I would recommend to call them first when searching for a solar contractor. Energy Concepts knowledge of solar systems history and future is second to none.

Though we didn't install with Energy Concepts due to our time constraints, I was thoroughly impressed in Jason's knowledge and professionalism, as well as their prices. I will definitely recommend Energy Concepts.

I couldn't be more happy with the entire process. Jason is a straight shooter and sells a great product at an even better price. Alex kept in touch with me as schedules changed that were caused by rain. Once the weather cleared up, the crew came and knocked out the installation in the time frame provided. They even went the extra mile to paint the conduit to match my house. The installation looked so good they took pictures with drone and they came out great. Energy concepts came to me from my cousin who has a different panel and his company never responded to his service call. Out of desperation he called Energy Concepts whose service manager, Jim also one of the owners got out ASAP and replaced his inverter and serviced his panels, remember these were not Energy Concepts panels! My cousin was so impressed with the attention he received he gave me the number and I dealt with Jason the sales manager, also and owner, I received nothing but the highest integrity and honesty with every step!

We began to investigate the benefit of solar during the summer of 2016. After meeting with several Central Valley solar installers we chose to work will Energy Concepts because they presented themselves as the most knowledgable and professional. They also beat the bids of the other companies by a significant amount. Communications with Energy Concepts sales, design and install professionals was outstanding. I was kept up to date with the entire process from signing my contract to PG&E metering. The install was very clean and unhurried. They left my roof and yard in great condition. The install required them to wire through my attic which left my roof looking great and my attic undisturbed. Best of all, this spring my 29 SunPower panels are regularly producing 50+kWh's per day! (I know this because to the cool SunPower app that keeps me up to date with my production hourly). Oh, and the tax credit is legit! Thanks Energy Concepts!

I recently had a solar system put on my roof by Energy Concepts and they met and exceeded all of my expectations. The sales team was extremely knowledgeable without being pushy. They answered all of my questions and laid out a plan that would meet all of my energy goals. Once I made my decision to go with Energy Concepts the install was completed within 7 business days and even a week ahead of what we had originally discussed. Not to mention the system was installed and fully functional in one day. I was pleasantly surprised with the expedient install. The system looks great. Everything lines up perfectly, the conduit is not noticeable and all of the wiring going into the inverter and subsequently, the main panel is very clean and minimal. I would recommend this company to any of my friends and family. They are overall a great company to work with and installed one of the best looking systems in town.

Very professional and smooth overall process from start to finish. Sales process was hassle free- we felt no pressure to go with them or choose a specific option. Felt like we were actually being listened to. Keep in contact as the process of ordering panels, permitting, etc. can take time. Was very helpful and professional as a week before construction/permitting; I had another competing company stop by and provide me decent questions I should be asking any company I go with. Jason Pugh answered all my questions promptly and honestly, many emails were in the evening after normal hours. Follow up after everything was installed to ensure the system is running smoothly.

Had my in solar installed by these guys almost a year ago, I had absolutely no problems and when I did call in regards to what I perceived as a problem they were very prompt in addressing my concerns, matter of fact I just called them the other day almost one year after the installation because of an issue and they were very prompt in responding ,so far so good

In my situation I was hesitant with solar because I needed a new roof. Energy Concepts was able to roof my house, get my insulation up to code and then add the solar system. With all that getting done I still am coming out ahead of my PG&E bill. Also they set the solar up to where you can monitor it from your laptop or even download the app and monitor it from your phone which I like a lot. Very happy with my service from this Local company.

Energy Concepts installed our system about 1 1/2 years ago. We are very pleased with the value and operation of the system. Our PG&E bill last year totaled about $60 for the entire year. So far this year, the costs are only the newly imposed minimum monthly charges, which is less than $10 per month. We currently have a negative -$200 toward the year end true up. The Energy Concepts team is very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. We would highly recommend them for your solar installation!

I looked at 5 or 6 solar companies and Energy Concepts were the most knowledgeable and professional. The price was low too. Jason (my solar rep) had a no pressure attitude and he felt more like a friend helping me decide rather than a salesman. Really no pressure! Just good information. The install took two days and the crew lead by Justin was professional and very accommodating (really cool guy). The whole process was much faster than I expected. I never write reviews but the outstanding quality of this outfit compelled me. You will feel glad you chose these guys!
