Update* They are reborn and hired experienced solar installers. New great people. I highly recommend Elan solar. Very talented team from sales rep to installers. Lincoln Williams is very nice and honest sales rep. He is not at all pushy like other sales rep. I must tell this company gave best Quote in Salt Lake City. Now let me tell you this Company has outstanding service. But They are very busy. My work was pushed 3 days straight but I did not mind it. All I want is Quality. Installers did amazing job. Their finishing is very nice. No mess left behind. They were was so nice and cleared all my doubts . From this we can tell they care about their customers. Their work is so perfect that City inspector was impressed how my Enphase Inverter were installed in less space with proper CODE outside next to the main service panel. They use REC Brand Panels which are Assembled and best quality panels. Also all Solar panels and parts comes with a warranty that is by default. if incase any panels or Inventor goes bad they will fix it for you with no cost. That is very nice. Usually I don't write review in DETAIL but this Company did really good job with Solar PV installation system. Specially when it comes with brand new House. Thank you Elan solar. Nope nope nope
Just don’t. I had to ask them to come take it all off my roof and terminate the contract to get a response. A month later they finally got the job done. We are waiting on RMP now, but we started on Aug 11 and it’s February 13! Nothing like ghosting and gaslighting to make you regret doing business with any door to door sales. Lesson learned.

Over the course of installation, their own installers failed to show twice for the inspection. About 1 month later, they finally showed up on the third attempt, but did not provide all documentation necessary which caused the inspection to fail. During this time (from install until now), I was only ever able to reach anyone at all after 3 days of nearly constantly calling. I was promised a follow up several times, but only received one once. Had I known they were this difficult to work with after dealing with their sales rep, I never would have moved forward with them and would have been happy to spend more money with anyone else. My advice is to avoid this company like the plague. Anywhere else will likely be easier to work with, and they weren't competitive enough with pricing to be even remotely worth the headache.

WORST !!!! Waste of money .. RUN AWAY
Very BAD !!! I do not recommend this company. I requested for installation in Sep 2022 and they dragged to get approvals from Rocky Mountain power. I had to call and remind them to get the approvals done. Next they turned on the meter with lot of problems. Not even one single it has worked till date. Now I am reporting problems, they sent a technician to fix the meter still didn’t resolve. “There is issue with your Meter measurements” notification is coming everyday and we are paying hefty amount of electricity bill. RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. WORST SERVICE !!!!!!

10 months after sign up, no working solar, no reimbursements.
Elan can't seem to keep their sales people or customer service reps, and now we know why. We cancelled our sign up with a different solar company, the Elan rep told us they would reimburse us the cancellation fee from their paycheck, and that never happened because Elan never paid out the entire commission to their sales reps--they only paid our rep 50% of the commission he should have made. Most of the sales team left. We have been passed around to customer service rep after customer service rep, each promising to "do something" about the $500 referral bonus we are owed, the $1215 cancellation fee the rep promised to reimburse us, and the $828 they owe us for the months we have been paying for solar that does not work. We have yet to have someone from *any* department follow through on their promise to call back when they say they will, and at this point I am shocked that a rep even came out last week to tell us that our converter needs to be replaced (who knows when that will happen). I am meeting with the COO next week, though I imagine this will be someone who was not with Elan when we signed up and our complaints will fall on deaf ears of people who are unwilling to own up to their dishonest and poor quality business practices.

My Power Bill took a BIG Hit and I love it
***** was a great to work with. He really kept the install moving. When **** contacted me after to see how I liked my install, I recommended they buy him a ski pass because I was so happy with his work. The only thing I would have done different was to move panels so they were not partially over my back porch. I did not realize it until the first snow melted off that it might be a challenge.

DO NOT use this company.
Panels were installed in January. It is September and I have yet to see any more progress. I ordered a battery and have been told it would be installed in February, late April, June, and September. I have called them many times and have gone to their Orem office and still no customer service.

Nobody Knows What's Going On
DO NOT USE THEM! Nobody at their corporate office knows what's going on. The sales reps get you to sign the contract and then disappear. It took months just to get their "engineer" to review and provide an estimated cost. Had techs come out multiple times because they were horrible at communicating what they needed. They will not honor any of the sales reps promises. Wish I had paid more attention to the signs before I signed the contract!

Skips appointment, forgets about you, never follows through
Elan Solar is a terrible service. They lead you on for months and then tell you that they will send out an expert. Then the expert never shows up, and they lead you on for several more months. You have to make all the calls and the emails and they still do not follow through. At least 2 of our Solar Panels are still broken and they haven't even activated our account.

NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!!!
I paid for my system last June...it started working in October...stopped working in December....and I have called/emailed every week since...we are now in March with out working panels and NO response from Elan. I am paying my full electric bill even though I have a solar system on the house. There is no support, no follow through and no customer service!
