We chose this company because they offered a detailed breakdown instead of vague promises about “huge savings.” The workers arrived exactly when scheduled and worked steadily through the day. A family member accidentally blocked part of the driveway, and they handled the inconvenience very politely.

I waited almost six months before writing this because I wanted to see if the system actually performed well long term. So far, no complaints at all. Even during extremely hot days, the panels keep producing steady power. The installers were friendly, efficient, and didn’t leave any trash behind.

Made our solar dreams a reality!

We had always hoped to have a PV system on our home. EFS Energy made that happen! They used drone technology to map our roof and quoted a system appropriate for our electrical needs. The EFS solar panel install crew was very efficient and the Strieb Electric sub contractor crew did a professional job connecting to our current infrastructure. The Ameren and Federal tax credits came through without a hitch. Would highly recommend EFS!

New solar customers here! Interviewed several solar installation companies and went with EFS Solar in St Louis. We liked the idea of going with a local company, and EFS fit that requirement, answering all our questions and concerns. Justin Evans and Janet Hazel were our primary contacts into the solar world, and they took the time to educate us on the benefits, limitations, and overall costs of having a solar power system installed on our home. Justin and Janet stayed with us throughout the engineering, construction and commissioning phases ensuring all paperwork, permits, and scheduling was done timely and accurately, coordinating the many facets of having a system installed and setting realistic expectations for completion. The overall process took several months due to all the moving parts, but the EFS Team was in constant contact with us via email, phone, or video calls. The construction team was very professional and knowledgeable and did their part well. The electricians did a phenomenal job installing the peripheral equipment and wiring required. The overall install easily passed local building and fire code inspections. Lastly, Enrique arrived on-site to do a final commissioning inspection and to ensure our operational questions were answered prior to turning the system on. Overall great experience and we highly recommend EFS Solar!

It has been 3 years since our solar system installation by EFS Energy and I just wanted to share our experience with the installation and with the subsequent electric production. The process went very well from bid to final install. The crew was professional, efficient and the quality of work was excellent. Our production since install has been pretty darn close to projections and I am really pleased and happy we made the investment. It's obviously a longer-term payback but I'm OK with that. And the feeling of environmental contribution and general peace of mind I get every time I I look at the panels in immeasurable. I highly recommend EFS Energy for any solar project you are considering.

Provided assistance that other solar companies would not...

What I liked about my experience with EFS was they were willing to take on and resolve a problem with my system (that was installed years ago by a company that was no longer in business). Too many of the solar companies I contacted were all too willing to sell me a NEW system, very few were willing to help resolve the problems in a system created by “someone else”. The EFS on-staff engineering team was exceptional in troubleshooting the root of the system problem I had encountered and worked to achieve a resolution to the problem. So, if you encounter a problem with your solar system, you might want to contact the people at EFS to fix the problem.

EFS recently installed a 150 kWh system on our building and we could not have asked for a better result. We began with just a basic knowledge of solar but they did a fantastic job guiding us through the entire project. Everyone we dealt with was knowledgeable and very professional. Thank you for doing such a great job! It was a pleasure working with you all.

EFS gave us a realistic assessment of both the cost and benefits of solar for our home. (Lots of trees). They were very professional and courteous during the installation and dealing with permits, and a myriad of inspectors. They always answered our concerns in a timely manner, and even though our project was delayed by said permits, they kept us in the loop. Their knowledge and passion was obvious and their suggestions were extremely valuable.

We can't say enough about how exceptional our experience was with EFS Energy! I'm a retired Boeing engineer and I researched and followed this process very closely. The first meeting with Kenny impressed us due to his technical knowledge of the system as well as the business aspects. Rick maintained the same level of professionalism during the installation process. The electricians that they used did a remarkable job during the installation and you have to look closely to find the internal wiring in our home. Finally, we met the owner and his attention to detail was more than we expected and he clearly wanted to have satisfied customers and he takes great pride in his company and his work. We would highly recommend this company to anyone!

We have had a negative electric bill for the past couple of months. Now that the heat has reached normal St Louis temps, I assume our bill will break 0, but will still be half the price it was.
