Extremely professional in all aspects; all in one shop

Hello neighbors, If Current Home Solar had nicknames for their clients like I do my neighbors I would have known me as the critter guard client. I’m here to write a 5 star review for Current Home Solar, their staff, and the quality panels they provide. If you want to save yourself the time and hours of research I spent getting it right they are your go to. My journey started with Jacob who shared his excellent knowledge and answered all my questions then returned without hesitation to speak with my husband and I to answer all his questions and put his skeptical mind at ease. My nickname began here with Jacob, as he phoned the office to find out the cost for me. Apparently others weren’t as concerned as I was about nesting birds. I was adamant about wanting them. We wanted as many panels as would fit on the garage, done. My husband wanted some of the wiring run through the attic, done. I wanted critter guards, done. I wanted a hassle free professional company doing the work, done. Jacob sat on the phone with me while I painstakingly read every page of the contract before signing. Papers were signed on June 10, 2022. The next step was that a project manager was assigned to oversee my installation. Although, I expected one person I had a couple lovely ladies by the names of Sierra, and Heaven. This didn’t bother me in the least as my questions, fears, and concerns were always answered in a way that was informative, detailed, professional, and most of all made sense. In no way was I ever made to feel silly, bothersome, or annoying for asking questions. In a short period of time layouts were completed and approved, roof and attic inspection was scheduled and done, permits were pulled, installation was scheduled and done (on our timeline as my husband wanted to be home) and completed by yet another very professional young man by the name of Josh (I think) and his team. Before long the oh so business minded city inspector arrived to meet Ronald, Current Home Representative who arrived early to put some final touches on things and to make sure all was in order. Again, everything went according to plan. Papers were signed and the final step was Southern California Edison notifying me that they are aware of my solar status. On July 27, we were up and running. If anyone is curious as to what I was researching my concerns were: A professional company that had little or no complaints against them; quality parts and materials; employed installers, not third party installers; work that was done in a timely manner, without excuses (we had none); positive reviews and recommendations; a competitive price; a company that wasn’t interested in providing me with an excessive number of panels so they could make more money; a good warranty; no prepayment penalty; an assurance that panels will transfer with the house if we choose to sell, etc. Everything about them was 5 stars! My only regret is that is took me so long to write this favorable review.

Excellent Staff

Heaven Escamilla was our Project Coordinator and she was very proffesional, courteous and responsive. She answered all of our questions along the way and kept us updated on the progress

We are very pleased with current home from their costumer service to their installers. Mayra, Justina and Duke have been amazing. They always showed up on time, always return phone calls or emails and never left us hanging. The installers never left a mess and they were always on time.

Project Coordinator

My project coordinator was Richard Browning. I was so hesitant about getting solar panels. He was so patient and explained the process so effectively. The whole process was great and everyone on the project was so personable and nice. It was a great experience.

Good and seamless from start to finish. Justina is a good rep and quick to answer phone calls/ emails when you need something answered.

Great customer service

Justina made getting my solar project such an easy process. She helped get my plans signed and set up my install date. They installed my solar power right on time as I just had a $320 Edison bill. I used 1000 kw of energy in the month of June now my panels produce 500 kw a week. So, this came in right on time. We even had some hurdles to overcome with my Tesla power wall but she is helping me get that fixed. Justina, Raymond who installed my electrical was awesome and the whole install team. I would highly recommend current home.

Staff

Everyone at current home solar has been extremely helpful and professional. They are responsive to my phone calls and kept me informed about the schedule for the work. Great people to work with.

Good after sales support

Micayla was the after sales support person who helped me. Although we were not able to access all the information from my system that I needed I was able to access enough to deal with s c e. I really appreciate her quick response and going the extra mile to help me. She is a valuable employee and a keeper.

My Current Home sales representative is Jim Willmon and my project handler is Melanie. What team! They both kept me updated and informed and kept my project on track in spite of Covid delays. Kudos to both.

Excellent Service

Current Home provided excellent service. Both our Sales Rep, Mery, and our Project Coordinator, Justina, we’re very informative and provided excellent customer service. Our installation process was smooth and quick. We are very happy and excited to be part of the solar family! Thank you Current Home.

The company it self is spot on for service and customer service. Heather has been my contact tech rep, very personable, professional. Have enjoyed her very much.

Excellent customer service

I have been dealing with Heaven. She has kept me updated on appointments and has answered my questions. This process with Current Home has been easy. So glad I went with them and will refer them to friends and family.

Awesome to work with!

From our rep, Sean, to customer service with Heaven, 5 stars! They were very communicative, showed me all options, and really went above and beyond to make this a great experience. Some things got damaged during install (would have happened with any installer) and they worked quickly to remedy! Very happy with them and would work with Sean and current home again. Highly recommend

Great overall experience

Justina was so helpful through the process. There were delays beyond their control and we were updated and knew what was going on. Everyone we interacted with at Current Home was friendly and helpful. I would recommend their services to anyone looking into solar.

Overall great experience with CurrentHome

Hi, my name is Oscar and I had the pleasure working with Heaven as the Project Manager for my particular Solar Install. My contract for the system was signed on 4/8/2022 and the Current Home team (who have their own installers instead of subcontracting the install) was able to get me an install date of 5/6/2022 (which I think was just pure luck getting it that fast tbh). Inspection was done the following week and SDGE approved my PTO on 5/16. While I believe my turn around time was unusually quick, it doesn't take away from the fact that my experience has been extremely positive and smooth for me. Heaven kept me informed at all stages of the install and was very helpful on any questions I had. Great job!

Melanie always calls me to give me a status of job. Some times I have too many emails coming through so it was nice to get a call from her that she sent email. She is very friendly.

Amazingly quick installation!

The paperwork approvals was quickly taken cared of without me doing anything. But what was amazing was the installation. It took 3 guys half day to install 22 panels on my roof! So far the meter seems to be reversing during sunny days but I still have to install the power monitoring software to really see how much it is generating.

Great Customer Service and Guidance

Current Home did a fantastic job from the sales process and the installation thru the final approval from the County and Utility company. The whole team (including Justina, Tenacia, and Eddie) was always helpful, supportive, and provided the proper guidance during the process. Current Home was absolutely a breeze to work! The sales process was quick and easy, installation was also a breeze and looks great, and everyone is very nice! There was a minor supply chain issue sourcing breakers but it was resolved quickly and I was kept in the loop throughout the process. Overall, I’m very pleased with the installation and will absolutely recommend anyone interested in solar give Current Home a call!

I have nothing but positive comments about my entire solar installation process. Jacob at Current Home was quick to respond to my inquiries, and once the process started Heaven Escamilla was outstanding keeping me informed throughout the process. Heaven answered all my questions in a very professional manner and responded very quickly to all inquiries. The installation team led by Max was very efficient and professional. I had permission to operate exactly a week after installation started. I would highly recommend Current Home.

Outstanding service

After a period of hesitation and after checking a couple of other companies, I decided to go with Current Home for the purchase and installation of my solar panels. Robb Stephenson was the rep who initiated the process and ironed out all the details such as size, pricing, financing, etc. then Melanie Escamilla took over as project manager and she did an outstanding job walking me through the process and keeping me informed of the next step. She was very clear on her explanations, knowledgeable, efficient, fast and friendly. I couldn't ask for anyone better to help me understand and find the answers of any and all questions I had (and there were a few) I would always get a message/call or email with the responses to my doubts in a very timely manner. I am super happy and satisfied with the result of my system and definitely will recommend them to my friends and family. Thank you both, Robb and Melanie for all your help and guidance!

Current Home from start to finish had things in order and scheduled to meet our needs. We were up and running in less than 2 months. The whole process was painless. Thank you Current Home.

Current Home made getting solar so easy

We had been shopping around for solar for a few weeks before a Current Home representative (whose name I unfortunately missed but was very knowledgeable and pleasant) came by our home and asked if we were considering solar. The representative highlighted the company's experience and credentials, and offered to schedule us for a call to confirm scheduling a no-obligation consultation, allowing us to take our time looking in to the company personally before continuing on to receive a quote. Well, we were impressed with what we found and proceeded to schedule the consultation. Current Home representative Amberly came over the following week and walked us through the quote process. We learned about the panels, the state of solar technology, and even about our own home. She was able to coordinate with another representative to get us panels at even lower rate than we were initially quoted, which was great because that was on top of already being the most competitively priced quote we had received. Between the customer service we received and the financial terms offered, it was a no brainer to go through Current Home for our solar. The other associates we interacted with from Current Home continued to be respectful and informative. Our Current Home installation facilitator Justina handled the scheduling for all the inspectors and installers, and kept us up to date on the status of our project. She was extremely professional and helpful, and we are lucky to have had her assist our installation. All in all we went from initial consultation to solar panels installed on our house and operational (saving us money) in under two months, pretty incredible considering the earlier estimates of months and months between consultation, ordering the panels, scheduling the installers, and waiting on the county inspectors. I was initially fairly apprehensive about the difficulty and cost of getting solar, but Current Home made going green and switching away from fossil fuels a breeze. I can't recommend them enough.
