Realiable Company

Local company with great customer service. Max was our sales person. He made sure we understood how solar works and how it benefit us. Looked at every discount i could qualify and gave us a great price. He made us feel very comfortable in asking any questions we needed. The installers were great. Cleaned up after themselves and were always early and ready to get the job done. Amaya was also our customer service representative and assured we were kept up to date on the whole process of installing our solar. She was quick to respond and and always pleasant on the phone. Such great customer service and communication from this company. Our total process took 3 months before we were online. I highly recommend them if your considering your solar.

Holding my contract HOSTAGE

Please be very careful if you decide to go with this company. We had a sales rep come out and explain the PPA program to us and what we would save by putting additional Solar and Tesla batteries on our home. They sent someone out to use a drone to take pictures of our roof and we were informed that we needed a new roof before we can move forward. My no cost PPA turned into a $68,000 loan at 7% interest. I called my Cell rep immediately and told her I could not do that and that I needed to cancel. Everything became an argument after that so I finally called EnFin and explain the situation to them. They released me from my contract, but said that Current Home Solar also had to release it. They sent some guy by the name of Rob out here because he said that they needed to talk to me in person. My husband met him on the porch and told him that we owed them money for all the sales work that was involved in creating the estimate and for someone coming out to take pictures of our roof. They argued for several minutes which I have all on my rings doorbell and finally Rob said well I need your wife to sign this. I went out into the garage to sign it and he told me I apologize for the situation and what has happened that you were not explained everything and that you did try to cancel with us. But I do need you to sign this to release our agreement with EnFin. I said oh great and now you're gonna send me another bill is that correct? He said no no no we're not gonna bill you and I will go back to the office and start submitting the contract to EnFin stating that you do not have any materials and we have not done anything on the project other than take a picture of the roof. That has been since August 13 and they still have not submitted to. EnFin. I tried to be kind during this whole process and do not want to badmouth anybody, but this is unacceptable. I am retired and live on a fixed income. JUST PLEASE BEWARE AS I'VE HEARD NOW THAT THIS HAS HAPPENED TO SEVERAL PEOPLE.

Extremely Disappointed – Incompetent Installation & Non-Existent Support I strongly advise looking elsewhere for your solar installation. Working with Current Home has been an absolute nightmare of poor workmanship and zero accountability. From day one, our system has failed to perform anywhere near its rated value. At absolute peak conditions, we are lucky to get roughly 75% of the power output we were promised and paid for. Getting Current Home to address this issue was an exercise in pure frustration: Unresponsive Customer Service: Countless emails, texts, and phone calls went completely ignored for months. Reaching anyone who could actually help was nearly impossible. Severe Installation Errors: When we finally managed to get a service technician on-site after months of relentless follow-up, the technician discovered that the initial install was botched. Multiple connections were wired completely backwards. In fact, the technician admitted he had no idea how the system was even functioning at all given how improperly it had been wired. Investing in solar is a major financial commitment, and you expect a qualified installation team and responsive support when things go wrong. Current Home provided neither. Save yourself the stress, lost production, and headache—choose a reputable company that actually knows how to install equipment and stands behind their work.

We had connection with 3 separate people with the whole project and each separate people were very accommodating and helpful. We would do it all over again.

Pros all the way!

We have been Extremely pleased with A Current Home Solar. They were with us the whole way through activation, even installing an EV charger for us. I cannot say enough good things about the team. In addition, we love the phone app that tells us in real time what our system is producing and what we are consuming. It's nice to know we are are doing our part to reduce our carbon footprint. If you CAN get solar panels, DO IT!

I’ve now had my solar for a few years and I am so happy we decided to do it. Max was super helpful and my husband and I were so impressed with how quickly and efficiently they got the installation done. I recently had a question about my bill and they were quick to respond, thank you!

Terrible Service (personal experience)

Extremely disappointed with the company and its customer service. It hasn't even been 5 months since my installation, and already more than half of the solar panels aren't working. Communication has been terrible, even with the person (Connor Leeb) who was supposed to help us if anything happened, and he couldn't even respond to text messages. Email communication has also been terrible, as they don't respond, and we've been experiencing this issue for over 3 weeks. I will seek advice to see if these panels can be removed, as I don't want to continue paying for a service that clearly isn't working.

Micaela was very professional and helpful in all aspects of my installation. She was in constant communication with me and directed me through the entire process. She is a true professional! Promote immediately!!

sometime you buy expensive things like solar panels and a Tesla battery also comes with the installation. But to find out your stress do to things that isn’t properly installed or damage. Yes, that was me. So I went on yelp to give a 1 Star rating for Current Home. Next day Justina F texted me and asked why I gave her company a 1 Star rating and what can she do to fix it? She asked me. So I told her my reason. The next day she sent Ray to power up my solar panel and my battery. My Tesla battery look so cool at night because it has a line of green light and it’s really quiet. The day after that Justina F sent 3 guys to replace the crack clays tile on the roof. I was so happy that Justina texted me. She got my solar up and running and my tile replaced. If you have any problem with Current Home my advice is to give Justina F a call!! She gets things fixed and she cares!

Couldn't be happier with Current Home and Justina with their customer service. My electric bills were crazy high- getting up to over $600 during the summer months. My last bill paying SCE was in Jan 2022 for $12.55!!! Haven't owed them anything since and it's been almost 2 years now. Thank u Current Home .

Poor customer service won’t return phone calls have had system installed for 2 yrs now I’m getting Southern California Edison bills monthly They just won’t do anything about it their excuse will call you back meanwhile Edison bill is 290 monthly sad experience
