Cosmic Solar is an A+/5 star company! We did our homework, decided on Cosmic, and they really delivered. They listened, had knowledgeable advice, were competitively priced, dug right in and did a great job! We wanted a complex system, all Enphase, with the fairly new IQ car chargers, and they were up to the challenge. They kept us informed every step of the way, and were always available for questions, If we decide to add to our system, or need at another property, we would choose Cosmic.

Cosmic Solar is very flexible in comparison with other Companies, capable of dealing with HOA President and SDG&E PTO was received in record time.

We were planning to get solar installed for a while. Finally, we went for it and made the April deadline before the net metering rules changed. Although, we would have done the installation regardless. A big shout-out goes to Cosmic Solar for providing us with stellar service. Pey Shadzi is an incredible wealth of knowledge and knows everything solar. Pey provided us with the best solar options based on our needs and usage. He is honest, personable, and genuine. My wife and I recently had a main service panel upgrade and residential solar system installed by Cosmic Solar and their electrician Joel Johnson (interconnection/completed date 8/9/2022). After extensive research on solar, we debated on using a national/regional installer vs a local installer but ultimately decided we preferred supporting a local company, having the whole process be in house with one company, and felt customer service would be superior. Cosmic Solar's customer service, installation, products, and performance are prime evidence of this. Pey, Arlene, Alison, and Mary were a pleasure to work with from the beginning - they outlined the process at the start clearly and stayed in constant communication along the way to ensure everything was moving along appropriately. Pey and the entire office staff always seemed to be one step ahead with the solar paperwork flow and all the necessary documents and permits - by the end, there was not a single delay with SDGE or the city and the project was ultimately approved and completed ahead of schedule. Just as important for this to happen was the efficient installation process Cosmic delivers. Hector and Alex were our solar installers and they did a great job - they were noticeably efficient while performing quality work, very personable and approachable, and took care of our roof and the surrounding areas of our house. They were also able to find a way to run all the conduit safely through our attic to the service panel thus concealing it and avoiding conduit running along the side of our house. A few days later on a day pre-scheduled with SDGE, Joel Johnson came to perform the main service panel upgrade. He was also a pleasure to have on the job - very efficient (power was only off for a few hours) and performed expert level electrical work throughout the whole process. His stucco and painting work was superb as well - the new panel and the surrounding area looked better than it was before. My wife and I plan to use Joel Johnson for any future electrical work we need done in our house. Following this, Cesar and Johnny came out a few days later for the city inspection and to finish up final details (final wiring, SunPower monitor placement, etc.). Again, as expected, everything was done in a timely, efficient, and friendly manner. And on top of all this, the SunPower products that Cosmic uses are top of the line and offer the highest performance and efficiency you can obtain on the market. They also offer a competitive price for these products. Given our installation experience and their track record, we also know Cosmic Solar will offer us a top level service experience for any service we may need along the way led by their Service Manager Khiry. When you put this all together, we plan to recommend Cosmic Solar to anyone who reaches out for a referral and encourage anyone reading this review to use Cosmic Solar for your solar installation needs.

Cosmic Solar installed our solar panels in 2019 and since then we have been able to utilize our heater and air without paying huge amounts of money on our SDG&E bill. Cosmic Solar was the obvious choice in Solar providers. Quality panels, quality technology and great customer service! Ken did a great job of representing us and the company and Teresa was awesome in coordinating our project. They made our project a priority! Ron and his crew did a great job on the roof replacement. The whole job went smoothly and we were up and running within 2 weeks! Our first net metering statement just came in the mail and our total kilowatts usage was -3! And it is a winter month! So glad we did this! And we can monitor our panels from our phone if we wish! So easy!

Cosmic has both roofing and solar install services. Everyone we spoke with was knowledgeable and the estimate was very competitive. The roofing guys were polite and installed the roof quickly with wonderful clean up. The solar panels were up and running in a single day. The only hold up was SDG&E, but that didn't take long either.

We wish we could give you more than 5 stars! Larry was great and very informative from the get-go. He explained the process very well and answered all our questions promptly. All the technicians did a great job and were very professional and friendly. On top of that, Cosmic Solar gave us the best price compared to all its competitors. We would definitely recommend Cosmic Solar to all our friends and family. We won't look elsewhere when it comes to solar installation.

Everything was done as promised, and although when they made a small mistake when the reconnected my wires to the new sub panel, they came out and fixed it the next day. Would recommend Cosmic!

First, I ask the question “Hoe do you review a companies performance as good as Cosmic Solars without it sounding like a made up fairytale?” Every part of the company from meeting Jose Duran early on down to every employee that we had the good fortune to encounter performed nearly flawlessly. This kind of performance can only be a result of a work ethic established at the top and a lot of effort to hire and train such a crew. Since we ground mounted I had visions of landscaping repairs and other disruptions. There was none, you would never know that they had even been here. Every concern I had was taken seriously and in most cases already anticipated. Every day there was measurable progress and the entire job was completed in about a week. It was clear that this company is a well oiled “machine”. If you want solar installed, but more than that, solar installed that brings back pleasant memories I highly recommend Cosmic Solar: “The very BEST of the very BEST!”. All of this at a very fair price, too!

Installation completed well ahead of original schedule. Cost is better than most others, and output (kW/panel) is very high. Individual mini-inverters makes future expansion and/or repairs simple and easy.

The staff, from sales to installation to followup with administration have been uniformly great, far above my expectations.

After talking with a few slimy sales guys from other company’s Ken and I sat down in my back patio and hashed out a few options for solar on my house. I waited for about 6 months then when I was ready I signed the contract. I received a date from Cosmic and waited. They called and had an opening which I could not use. The next time they called I was ready and we set a date. When the date came they arrived in time. The installed the panels and all of the other stuff needed. The install is neat and looks good. The panels are up and operational. Hickup 1, not Cosmics fault but the name on the SDGE bill did not match the name on the contract. So, SDGE rejected the application for net metering. Cosmic quickly resubmitted the application with the name SDGE has. Hickup 2, Cosmic solar did not get the monitor hooked up correctly so the power I was using was 10kw high per hour. As soon as I contacted Cosmic Pey came over a fixed the issue. They did a good job of taking care of my issue. 4 stars for the job. There should of been not issues on there side. 5 stars for the service, the took care of the issues

Cosmic staff were very approachable and were knowledgable of what the product. They were able to move our installation up and walked us through the entire process. Given the investment, I had many questions and they were very responsive and were always understanding of my concerns. Anyone thinking about getting solar, I would highly recommend Cosmic Solar. Fantastic experience and my family is now generating more than we are using.

My husband and I did a lot of research on solar companies that serve Carlsbad. We ended up getting three quotes, one based upon a referral from a family member and the other two (one of which was Cosmic Solar) based upon reviews on various websites. Bahram and his staff at Cosmic Solar were real deal. Although the other companies were good, one of them didn't even take the time to come to our house because they were so busy. We received their quote via email. The one that was a referral from a family member actually spent a good amount of time with us but the sales person was not knowledgeable about SDG&E rules because they were based in Riverside county. when Bahram came out he did a thorough review of our SDG&E bills, explained how our old panel could still be used and was very patient in explaining the whole process. He also was quick to respond to our many email questions. Once we decided to go with Cosmic we started dealing with his office staff, in particular, Mary. She was wonderful, patient and responsive and kept us up to date on the timeline and progress of the permits procedure and install date. The installation was simple and quick and we are generating solar power! We would recommend Cosmic Solar to anyone who wants an honest, extremely knowledgeable company that is local and family owned and has been installing solar panels for years. We are confident that they are going to be around for a long time and will be able to service our system for years to come.

I got quotes from six different companies but was most impressed with the knowledge, price, and the product from Cosmic Solar. What I was THRILLED with at the end of installation was how smoothly the whole process had gone! Ken, our representative, and the ladies in the office made sure that everything went off without a hitch! Ken even stopped by on the morning of our inspection just to make sure everything was all set. I truly had not one worry through the whole process of installation and was incredibly impressed with their great communication and their true willingness for everything to be done to its very best level! Ironically my next-door neighbor was having her installation done on the same day from a different company and her installers were blaring the loudest music off of her roof and being very loud. I recently had ten Sunpower solar panels installed by Cosmic solar and I am totally happy with the entire process from start to finish. The Cosmic Solar personnel are professional, polite, eager to listen and did a first class job with the installation (in very fast time too). I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Every Cosmic Solar representative was outstanding, from the sales team, to the installers, to the field rep, to the office staff! The installers had to make a couple changes to adjust for the roof install and the Solatube placement, and each installer had a can-do attitude about the changes. The electrical portion of the install was done professionally, and exhibited good attention to detail. The job required coordination between the solar installer and roofers, which caused a slight delay, perhaps not on Solar's part. At the end of the project, I received a packet with the full set of permits, warranties, and technical info. I am really impressed with Cosmic Solar's successful and thorough installation and completion of a complicated job.

I interviewed 8 solar providers and created a matrix with all their attributes, including recommendations. Cosmic came out on front. I was most comfortable when they came out to the house. I wanted to eventually get EV car and they were able to explain the connection I would need. Very well informed, not a salesperson.

We had planned to get bids from three solar companies for our residential system. Cosmic Solar was the second company we spoke with and every lined up perfectly with them. They were very understanding for our situation, answered all our questions well, and got back with more information at our request. We decided to go with them. The installation was scheduled for early January originally, which didn't work well for us, so one call to the office and that was all worked out. It turned out they had an unexpected opening for us after only a week or two and it was all systems go. The installation crew worked very hard and well. They consulted with me on the particulars at every stage and really were professional and great to work with. Then Ken, who sold the system to us, came out and watched over it also. This was really a positive experience with a company that worked hard to do things right and to our liking. They treat you like family rather than a number. We had a very positive experience. Now our system is up and purring along with no problems. It is still new, but I have confidence that Cosmic will be there is anything goes wrong. A+ company in my book.

This was the most painless experience ever, the crew and sales dept. along with the office help was above anything one could expect.
