Capital City Solar

Our battery was under warranty but our original company was out of business. Reached out to Capital City. They were awesome! They immediately said they could help and take care of us and they did. They called Tesla got us a new battery sent out ASAP and had us on the schedule as soon as it worked for me. Technician was knowledgeable and explained everything. We had a great experience. If we ever need more solar or batteries we would use them again for sure.

Working with everyone at Capital City Solar was wonderful. Brian explained the options and made sure we got the right system. The installation crew was prompt, professional and friendly. Nicole and Carrie in the office kept us up to date and answered all of our questions. I would recommend Capital City Solar to anyone ready to buy solar.

This is a follow up about work done June 18, 2026... Ruben, Clayton and Eugenio? arrived promptly as scheduled and we discussed the problem. After an initial diagnosis all aspects of our solar system were checked, and an electrical problem was found. The work was completed in a timely manner and the system showed immediate improvement. The crew was friendly and professional. The bill was thoroughly explained and seemed reasonable for the work performed. Again, I would highly recommend Capital City Solar. (5 ***** ) After receiving recommendations from neighbors I chose CapitalCitySolar to replace my solar inverter. Friendly and helpful Carrie got the process started. Met with Luka who explained in a very understandable way, what the job would entail. I now have an up-to-date inverter and an app to keep track of info about my energy production. I highly recommend CapCitySolar.

I recently contacted Capital City Solar about adding Tesla Powerwalls to my home solar system and had the pleasure of working with Andy Russell on the feasibility assessment and cost estimate. Even though I ultimately decided to hold off on the project for now, I came away extremely impressed. Andy was knowledgeable, professional, patient, and genuinely thoughtful throughout the process. He took the time to understand the specifics of my home, my existing solar system, and what would actually make sense for my needs rather than just trying to push a sale. His attention to detail and clear communication gave me a lot of confidence in Capital City Solar’s approach. Based on this experience, I would enthusiastically recommend Capital City Solar to anyone considering solar or battery storage. They earned my trust, and I very much hope to work with Andy and the team in the future.

We first contacted Capital City Solar when one of our solar inverters went out. Recently a separate older inverter went out. Lucca (Lucca, what is your last name??!) provided useful information about the status of that inverter and the system as a whole. To help us decide how to move forward, we also asked about leasing updated equipment. Understandably, we needed to speak with a different individual to get that information. Andy Russell went the extra mile in researching our system capabilities, our usage overall, and our options. Our thanks too to the engineer who did a ton of work in the background. We feel much better informed after working with these gentlemen and are looking forward to working with the company again.

Great people to do business with

I received my permission to operate from PG&E on 3/15/23. Since that time, I have been pleasantly surprised at how much power is generated. I have a modest 10 panel, 3.65 kWh system. In four and a half months, I have accumulated more than 1100 credits with PG&E. I recently replaced my propane heating system with an all electric heat pump. I am sure all these credits are going to keep me warm this winter at no additional cost. Special tip of the hat to Brian and Nicole for walking me through the process and keeping me informed. Also, to the installation crew and the engineer, who skillfully attached the panels to my existing Tesla Powerwall battery. The whole process went smooth and quick. Best wishes to Capital City Solar, and I hope NEM 3.0 is not hurting them too much. .

Solar Purchase and Installation

We were referred to Capital City Solar by a friend who had a very good experience with them. Our salesman Andy was excellent. Very knowledgeable and thorough. Installation was quick and went great. Everything was cleaned up after job was complete. Their installation crew was great. We have an online site to see what our panels are doing on a daily basis. Love it.

Great experience.

Installed SunPower 2 1/2 years ago. Could not be happier with the crews at Capitol City... friendly, professional.. always answered my questions.. always there to resolve whatever issues I had. Even on subsequent maintenance work (minitor unit died), crew showed when they said they would and took the time to explain everything they were doing and the changes being made.. just were great to work with. Highly recommend Capital City Solar and SunPower.

solar power system

great company, installation went great, very fast and thorough would recommend to anyone.

fantastic

i love my solar. even in the most overcast and rainy days i manage to generate solar and that is fantastic. I am cool in the summer and that is what makes my life complete. I got several bids when I was going to have solar installed. I ultimately used capital city solar and it was a great decision. everything went smoothly and all i did was sit back and wait for the final inspection by the city of Lincoln. they handled all the paperwork and gave me a completed binder to refer to at the end. careful installation and efficient panels.

Capital City Solar - The Best

Capital City Solar installed our system in June of 2010. Not only has the system been problem free, it has provided us with consistent savings. The savings we enjoy have exceeded the total cost of the system. Every month we're in the "Black" on cost. Even though we are long ago customers, the staff at Capital City Solar always respond immediately to any questions that we have had. We highly recommend this company and product.

Capital City Solar is the best

Capital City makes it easy for you to understand How solar works. They do not high pressure you like many of the other company’s we had give us bids. There product is the highest quality and the installers are very polite and neat and leave no mess when they are done. The office staff is always ready to assist in anyway they can. Our sales representative Andy was knowable and alway there to explain any questions we might have. Once the sale was done he was not one of those that you never see again. Andy is a great guy and he really cares about his customers. I my opinion you would be hard pressed to find a better company.

Michelle

Capital City Solar made the transition to Solar very easy. They even saw a problem on my system before I could even call. They fixed the problem and I like the piece of mind knowing that even though their done they still are taking care of me. Thanks Capital City for making me feel like I made the right choice in using you to install my system.

Extremely happy

Excellent company. Install was so easy. They left the area where they worked very clean. Nice crew. We are happy to give a rcommendation

The work done was greqt. I was kept informed of the progress and of any problems that came up. They were having trouble with the city and a flood plane issue and asked me to call the city to clear it up. I did and the work continued on time. A job well done.

Capital City Solar (formerly Solar-E-City) did a fantastic job for us. I wanted a Sun Power system in the event something went wrong and they provided the best price for a local company. They showed up on time, did a great job and routinely follow-up on my system through phone calls and e-mails. The Sun Power iPhone App is great too. I would hire this company again.

The sales representative for SOLAReCITY ELECTRIC, soon to be Capitol City Solar did a great job in every detail. Their office staff was ever ready to answer any & all questions. The excellent service still continues. I highly recommend this organization.

Very personable and knowledgeable salesperson. Impressive team that did the installation in one day.

Outstanding and professional contractor...

I have been very pleased with all my contacts with Solar E City Electric.

I am very happy that I chose Solarecity Electric to install my solar energy system. All representatives were very knowledgeable and personable. They dedicated needed resources to my job and completed the work neatly and in a timely manner.

Solarecity is a very well run solar company, I had other companies come by and I felt like they were selling used cars. Solarecity’s staff is polite, knowledgeable basically good people.

The professionals at SolarEcity went over and above to make sure we were satisfied with the installation.

I got more than 10 solar PV contractors to consider my proposed system design, but only 3 of those were willing to actually bid on my installation. SolarEcity was not the cheapest bid, but they proposed the largest and most efficient system with all of my design demands included.
