Applied Solar Energy Solutions

Applied Solar installed my System 4 years ago. It worked great. About A year into it, I get my monthly report from Enphase and my system didn’t produce any energy. The breaker tripped; they were supposed to monitor it and dropped the ball. Ok, I’m a little upset but it can happen. It happened again about a year after that but I caught it around a week in because I got my report. In May of this year one on my micro inverters went out. I could not get anyone to help me; they kept saying Heidi would ball me. She never returned my calls. Finally I called Enphase ( super nice people and very helpful) and they sent me a new inverter. I called another Solar company and the came and installed it for $129 and reset my system. Bottom line; solar is low tech and easy to install but it needs to be monitored ( you are an independent power producer), and this company WILL NOT monitor your system. After they put it on your roof, your on your own. BE WARE!!’

Always friendly and professional

Applied Solar Energy Solutions was our choice because they were American made and the company is local. They guarantee on the panels was the best we could find. They are always available if we have any questions on the power being produced or if we go off line they are always there to assist us with the computer readings.

I've been very happy with my solar system that Applied Solar installed in July 2016. My system produced over the guaranteed output for the first year. Very happy to see that I produce more electricity than I use most months so far! Applied Solar has been great when I call them up with answering my questions. They also installed a Consumption Meter so I can see what I consume for electricity every month. You can't do that with your SCE bill. Glad I went Solar!

Applied Solar Rocks!

Applied Solar is one of the professional companies I have had the pleasure of working with. Their work ethic is second to none which is difficult to find in this business. From design to construction to tech support they exceeded all expectations. I interviewed no less Than 12 companies over a two year period. Applied Solar was the only company that made sense to me. Doug Means and his crew are hard working people the follow through with everything they said and on time. Thanks so much Applied Solar.

Applied Solar is one of the most professional companies I have ever had the pleasure working with. Their accountability and punctuality was top notch. My Solar project started on time and finished early. I have had my solar system for 3 months and love it. Their pricing was competitive, finance options were more then competitive. Thanks so much Applied Solar.

Excellent Customer Service & Experience

I chose Applied Solar Energy Solutions to deploy my Solar Array system in 2013 after conducting an extensive amount of due diligence. My experience with Applied Energy has been fantastic and I have recommended this company to my friends & family considering Solar Energy. The installation was seamless. The installers showed up on time and provided a high degree of quality in their workmanship & service. I'm extremely pleased with the output of my solar array system as the generation as exceeded the forecast every year! Saving me & my family money! This is s testament to the type of experience you can expect from this company. One that will under commit & over deliver on your solar energy expectations.

Quality honest workmanship

My experience with Applied Solar was fantastic. The sales team did an excellent job explaining all the options available to me and helped design the best possible system. Their estimates are very conservative. I am generating so much electricity my bill went from a high of $500 to the minimum $10. My annual net metering will be coming due this month, and the electric company will owe me money! I doubt I’ll see penny one, but I am happy that at least my utility company will not be able to gouge me any longer. The installation done by Applied solar was extremely professional. They perform quality work and in a short period of time. Their project manager handled all the permits and got me online quickly. I highly recommend Applied Solar to anyone considering to get electric panels.

Solar Panels

After years of wanting to install solar panels we started getting quotes from different companies, some even did't bother to come to look at the house and will tell us that we didn't have enough room on our roof for the panels! When Cathy came and explain everything in detail and gave us the quote we where surprised of the difference in prices from other quotes we had, and sign the contract that night. The whole process was a very pleasant one, the installers were very professional and did the work in a timely manner. Our electric bill shrank from over 180.00 a month to 3.50 a month!

The whole process was a pleasant one, since we sign with Kathy to the installation. The installers were very professional and did the work in a timely manner. My husband and I are so happy on our decision to install solar panels, we see the difference in our electric bill, where we used to pay over 180.00 monthly now is only 3.50 a month. I truly recommend them.

My husband, Mark H., did extensive research on solar and Applied Solar's program met our needs the best. Mark H. talked with several homeowners in area about their experiences and checked out many details. Applied Solar was our fourth and final estimate. We went with them because they have a good warranty on their panels with a strong industry guarantee. They got back with us and promptly answered every question we had. They did as they said and Doug Means was thorough when he presented the solar information to us and followed up with us very step of the way. Mark loves checking on the solar production on his mobile phone. It keeps us on top of how the panels are producing. We have had the panels for almost a year and we are satisfied. Only concern is whether we will receive the Tax Credit. We even changed our payroll deductions to owe Uncle Sam, so the credit can be utilized.
