Pat Redgate was excellent and I would recommend him highly. He should be used as an example for all Contractors. My reasons to install solar Power were, 1-ecomnomic savings of 25% on my high power bill. We learned about solar power from a college course on alternate energies. The course was taken in the early 1980`s.

Folks at Ameco are really the greatest. After getting estimates and talking with other companies that offer solar I can say that Ameco are the best in the business and experts when it comes to solar. Most companies sell air conditioning or other products, and solar is not their core business or area of expertise. Ameco is a solar company. Solar is a big investment and clearly something to shop around for. Ameco is simply better than Real Goods or Econo Air My house was purchased with solar water heating and I was looking to reduce monthly expenditures further. After looking into PV initially (~2000), I determined it was too expensive to justfy the expense. With interest rates so low and CEC rebates still available the numbers worked out to save some money while benefiting the environment.

We`d used Ameco several years earlier to install our pool solar water heating and were extremely satified, so we used them again. We`ve referred friends to them and they, too, were very happy with their installations.
