We received first class service from our first call of interest to the final project installation and inspection. Todd Fanady, David Saltzman and their professional installation crew delivered a quality project on time and on budget- we could not be more pleased with the results!! We were so pleasesd with the quality of the sales person (his knowledge and personal manner) and we were familiar with the reputation of the owner and his business. We decided we wanted to do business with THIS FIRM. We had to wait just over a year until we could make the financial investment. The incentives offered made it happen now, but we would have made the investment eventually, with or without the incentives.

I have significant personal experience with home remodels, contractors, and general construction and Ameco set the bar for service and expertise in their area. I am an electrical engineer that is an expert in space solar power systems and Ameco`s expert knowledge of the solar technology and solar power systems were absolutely top notch. If you are looking for cheap solar components that won`t last look elsewhere but if you are looking for the best product on the market at a reasonable price then go with Ameco. Period.

We were very well pleased and have recommended Ameco to others. Our electricity bill went from $ 3000 per year to just $ 105 per year. The installation takes up only about 15% of our roof area. We think this county should be energy independent. Solar power provides load leveling, particularly on hot sunny days. It`s in the best interest of the utility company to foster its use.

This is our second installation together and it went off without a hitch even accounting for my stop and start scheduling! The industry must continue to market the value proposition of alternative energy technology development with government incentives to continue turning the tide toward renewable resources. The lifecycle economic impact of competing technologies should drive our investment plans.

The crew that did the actual installation were fantastic - they actually cared about the aesthetics of the installation, which, in my experience, is unusual for contractors. Since we had been heating our pool water by solar means for more than 25 years, we were familiar with the financial benefits of using solar energy. Since we have no way of knowing how high the price of utility provided power will go,the decision seemed obvious and we reccomend it to all.

House is all electric, no gas line to the house. Don`t know what else we could make solar. We wanted to lower our electric bills and to conserve energy. Took a while to save up the money, but very happy that we did it.

Any way you could change the question re type of unit installed? He also installed solar collectors for a corrent total of 80 sq ft. The system has been set up, however to add more should we want it, depending on our future usage of gas for the floor heating system. He is really an excellent contractor, honest, professional, knowledgeable and also a very nice person. I am surprised that i have not heard of any savings to maintenance and expansion of the grid through the use of solar and wind energy. As citizens, we are always dismayed that the energy utilities do not offer the minimum amount of cash rebate for energy generated by an individual which exceeds personal use. In discussing our energy saving devices with others, i find that others interest is high in purchasing the panels but they simply cannot make the initial investment. therefore it is my belief that the government & utilities should do more to subsidize these ventures.
