AMECO Solar & Roofing

David Saltzman was excellent and the installers were also very neat and professional.

it has been a long term goal

AMECO owner and staff appear to be in this business in the interest of doing good things for our environment, in addition to developing a profitable enterprise. Our meter is in reverse, and our water is toasty! An Inconvenient Truth. Thanks, Al! Joe & Debbie

This owner of the company and everyone on the project was professional, courteous, available, and forthright. I have already recommended the company several times. We have been delighted with the savings each month, and our ability to take a little less toll on the earth.

Since we had been heating our pool water by solar means for more than 25 years, we were familiar with the financial benefits of using solar energy. Since we have no way of knowing how high the price of utility provided power will go,the decision seemed obvious and we reccomend it to all.

Everyone that we dealt with at AMECO were great. They worked quickly, efficiently and without a lot of mess. Patrick Redgate and his company were a pleasure to deal with. Nothing influenced our decision to install solar energy to our home. We felt it was the right thing to do for the environment.

House is all electric, no gas line to the house. Don`t know what else we could make solar. We wanted to lower our electric bills and to conserve energy. Took a while to save up the money, but very happy that we did it.

Any way you could change the question re type of unit installed? He also installed solar collectors for a corrent total of 80 sq ft. The system has been set up, however to add more should we want it, depending on our future usage of gas for the floor heating system. He is really an excellent contractor, honest, professional, knowledgeable and also a very nice person. Georgia Goldfarb I was given his name by Ray Darby, TheEnergyGuy.com who had worked with the state dept of Energy and/or Energy Commission and is extremely knowledgeable about the many ways of energy-saving resources. I am surprised that i have not heard of any savings to maintenance and expansion of the grid through the use of solar and wind energy. As citizens, we are always dismayed that the energy utilities do not offer the minimum amount of cash rebate for energy generated by an individual which exceeds personal use. In discussing our energy saving devices with others, i find that others interest is high in purchasing the panels but they simply cannot make the initial investment. therefore it is my belief that the government & utilities should do more to subsidize these ventures.

Very nice people to work with. Knowledgeable and considerate staff.

Pat Redgate is an excellent solar contractor. Six of my relatives/friends have also used AMECO for solar PV. Go solar!

Pat Redgate was excellent and I would recommend him highly. He should be used as an example for all Contractors. My reasons to install solar Power were, 1-ecomnomic savings of 25% on my high power bill. We learned about solar power from a college course on alternate energies. The course was taken in the early 1980`s.

Folks at Ameco are really the greatest. After getting estimates and talking with other companies that offer solar I can say that Ameco are the best in the business and experts when it comes to solar. Most companies sell air conditioning or other products, and solar is not their core business or area of expertise. Ameco is a solar company. Solar is a big investment and clearly something to shop around for. Ameco is simply better than Real Goods or Econo Air My house was purchased with solar water heating and I was looking to reduce monthly expenditures further. After looking into PV initially (~2000), I determined it was too expensive to justfy the expense. With interest rates so low and CEC rebates still available the numbers worked out to save some money while benefiting the environment.

We`d used Ameco several years earlier to install our pool solar water heating and were extremely satified, so we used them again. We`ve referred friends to them and they, too, were very happy with their installations.
