Dealing with AMECO Solar was easy and pleasant. They offered a variety of financing options, including a prepaid lease that combined the best features of lease and purchase. They worked with us to improve aesthetics while still meeting local code requirements. Prepaid lease amount reflected expected rebates and incentives.

Ameco has provided us with an excellent solar system tailored to our needs. Pat and his team were top-notch in every way, and we couldn`t be more satisfied - experienced, knowledgeable, reliable and helpful - professional in every way- never experienced any sales pressure, just a lot of good information. I`ve worked with many contractors both in business and my own personal projects. Ameco was reffered to me by one of my business contractors. He was very happy with them. I was also very impressed with Ameco and everybody involved. The referrals they gave me for roofers and electricians also turned out to be excellant. I have already been highly reccommeneding Ameco for Solar installation. I`ve heard quite a few stories from other homeowners who have had a hard time getting the rebates. Ameco took the rebate right of the top so I didn`t have to deal with it at all. They showed up when they said they would or called if something had changed. The job was done when I expected and at the price I was quoted at the 1st initial meeting. They also beat the price from 4 other quotes that I got. You can`t ask for more than that. Great Job. We are extremely satisfied with our solar pool heating system. With a pool cover we had the pool temp up to 90 degrees by the end of May, a little too warm. We had a small leak through the vacuum relief valve, a small rock from the shingles was lodged in the valve. They were back in an 1/2 hour from our call they cleared the valve in less than a minute. That was the only service we needed.

My installation was just completed about 4 weeks ago. Everything was awesome. The planning and attention to detail was beyond my expectations. The installation was perfect - not even visable unless you`re on the roof! I`m generating enough power to supply 100% of my needs at this moment (although the heat of summer is coming - but also the cool of winter!). Thanks to the wise counsel of Pat and Dave I bought enough panels to max out the inverters so my system is 14 KW. I`d interviewed some other companies and was totally turned off by the high pressure sales techniques. Ameco was straight-forward and seemed to really understand the entire system, my needs and the industry much better than anyone else. I would HIGHLY recommend.

Pat, from the initial meeting, gave a complete and honest presentation about PV systems. His estimate was accurate and the project electric bill after installation was actually higher than our actual bill. When I called after our first bill, Pat spent about an hour on the phone on a Saturday to explain the bill and answer questions that I had accumulated once the system was running. I haven`t given this high a recommendation to any other company that has worked at our home. Excellent people run this company. We could not have asked for a more professioanl & knowledgeable contractor. In addition, the personnel were available to answer follow up questions in a timely manner even AFTER the job was completed and paid for. It is rare that we have had such a positive experience with any contractor. We would highly recommend them to anyone seeking solar panels. This company made the permit/rebate process painless & helped us every step of the way to minimize the time we needed to spend on these things. It actually involved much less of our time than we had intially anticipated (given the time we had spent on prior house improvement projects that involved permits.)

I interviewed a number of installers. There were two that had been in the business for a long period (many have not). I chose Ameco after meeting the CEO Pat Redgate. He was knowledgeable and straightforward and answered the multitude of questions I had. He did the research I requested and actually seemed to enjoy the challenge. It was a great experience. The system is working wonderfully and providing more electricity than predicted.

Pat and the guys at Ameco are 100% professional and 100% reliable! Their bid was lower than those fly-by-night operations that show up unannounced at your door. No high-pressure sales tactics, just an honest bid based on options they explain thoroughly. I`ve told everyone I know about the amazing system and service I received from Ameco Solar! My city`s inspector required some help in understanding the solar inverter so he didn`t sign off after the initial inspection. David at Ameco was happy to send someone out to explain the inverter and the system passed inspection with flying colors. We had the good fortune of having 2 companies give us a bid for the same exact equipment. The company we did not go with had to increase the number of panels and come way down on the price to meet what Ameco`s bid price was. Then, had the idea to tell Ameco to back out of their bid. Long story short, We went with the company with integrity. Ameco, every time!!

We received first class service from our first call of interest to the final project installation and inspection. Todd Fanady, David Saltzman and their professional installation crew delivered a quality project on time and on budget- we could not be more pleased with the results!! We were so pleasesd with the quality of the sales person (his knowledge and personal manner) and we were familiar with the reputation of the owner and his business. We decided we wanted to do business with THIS FIRM. We had to wait just over a year until we could make the financial investment. The incentives offered made it happen now, but we would have made the investment eventually, with or without the incentives.

I have significant personal experience with home remodels, contractors, and general construction and Ameco set the bar for service and expertise in their area. I am an electrical engineer that is an expert in space solar power systems and Ameco`s expert knowledge of the solar technology and solar power systems were absolutely top notch. If you are looking for cheap solar components that won`t last look elsewhere but if you are looking for the best product on the market at a reasonable price then go with Ameco. Period.

We were very well pleased and have recommended Ameco to others. Our electricity bill went from $ 3000 per year to just $ 105 per year. The installation takes up only about 15% of our roof area. We think this county should be energy independent. Solar power provides load leveling, particularly on hot sunny days. It`s in the best interest of the utility company to foster its use.

This is our second installation together and it went off without a hitch even accounting for my stop and start scheduling! The industry must continue to market the value proposition of alternative energy technology development with government incentives to continue turning the tide toward renewable resources. The lifecycle economic impact of competing technologies should drive our investment plans.

The crew that did the actual installation were fantastic - they actually cared about the aesthetics of the installation, which, in my experience, is unusual for contractors.
