AMECO Solar & Roofing

Happy Customer

Ameco installed my solar panels recently. I explored many options and got multiple quotes from all the major companies before I chose to go with Ameco. They were not the cheapest(nor the most expensive) and were very upfront about that fact. I still chose to go with them because of of their excellent reputation and customer service. When investing in something that is supposed to last many years and when that installation is something on my roof, that could potentially impact its integrity, I wanted an established local company that would stand behind its work. I was not disappointed, with my decision. Their customer service was superb throughout the whole process. Pernille was my project manager and she did an excellent job keeping me informed of every step, worked with me when I had questions or concerns. If she was ever unavailable, he colleague Yazmina stepped in.
The design, permitting and installation both went very smoothly and quickly.  I'm very pleased with the final result and the overall process and would highly recommend Ameco.

I am do impressed with this . I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is interested. I can guarantee an amazing experience. My family and I weren’t disappointed and neither will you . Thank you so much !

Awesome solar company with great track record!

After researching and talking to many solar companies (SunRun, OC Solar, SemperSolaris, Tesla, SunLove.US, HES) servicing the Orange County area, I decided to go with Ameco Solar due to their track record, years in the industry, and overall great experiencing in conversing with their sales team and project manager. I decided to get a new roof, 200 amp service panel, and solar system to take advantage of the solar federal tax credit and Ameco Solar and Roofing was a one stop shop for the whole project. Thomas Vitale was patient and answered all my questions regarding the roofing, solar panels, and electric panel. Yazmina, our project manager, was really great to work with. Responses to our questions via email were quick and she explained everything about our solar system, how to shutdown the system if needed, how to use the online portal, and provided all documentation regarding the use of our system. The roofing install went a little rocky with the roofers leaving roof nails on the ground in the backyard and around the house and driveway. Yazmina was able to coordinate with roofers and have them go with a magnet all around the house and backyard to make sure all the nails were collected. Overall, a great experience with Ameco. My solar system generates 41.6 watts on a very sunny day in March, more than enough to meet my household needs and then a lot extra that I can run my AC and other electronics and no longer have to worry about a huge energy bill. Sure, the upfront cost is a pretty penny, but it will pay for itself in under 10 years.

Easy and painfree experience

From beginning to end, Ameco was a pleasure to work with. Tash helped guide me throughout the evaluation process. He explained which panels were better and why along with what would be the best size depending on a variety of future factors. He was very clear on price differences between leasing and owning which I found to be a bit rare while evaluating. Once purchased, Logan and Yazmina did a wonderful job while updating me on which stage of the process we were in and what to expect next. I would definitely recommend Ameco

Best solar company

The best solar company around. From the beginning of the process to the final inspection, the communication was great and friendly. They explain everything clearly on each part of the process and were very knowledgeable on the installation. The technicians who came to do the actual installation were friendly and goes beyond to do a great job. Everything were matched to the color of the house to make it look natural. Great care was performed to the ultimate customer satisfaction. They were honest and down to earth. No pressure sales tactics either. A very relaxed transaction. The follow up was great even after the solar was installed and approved. Their technicians knows how to get the install approved the first time passing the County inspection which is important. Great job boys for a smooth transaction.

Solar system installed

Recently I have installed the solar system on my roof by AMECO Solar through the SCE Marketplace. They did a great job. Customers service was excellent. Mary Sogomonyan was my project manager and she was on top of the job. Every question, email and calls were handled promptly. You have done it. Hopefully we do more business again in the future. Thank you so much.

Satisfied Customer!

Huge thanks to Yazmina Crooks and the Ameco team for successfully delivering our rooftop solar solution. A painless journey from beginning to end and we couldn't be happier with our installation. Yazmina thoroughly answered all of our question and queued us on questions we didn't even think to ask. Thanks again for all the support from planning through PTO!

Excellent!

Every step of the process was very clear and easy. It could not have been easier or better!

I highly recommend AMECO solar! They came through as promised!

After much research, I chose AMECO solar over many others and am pleased with their work. My detailed review is on YELP. In short, they were excellent to deal with even as I coordinated three projects together with my solar installation. Kudos to Thomas Vitale, my initial phone contact and Yazmina Crooks, my project coordinator!

Hire this company, you can't go wrong with them!

Simply A+! From the salesperson, project manager, and down to the installation team, everyone is super easy to work with and we were very satisfied. Our bill has been reduced by 80+% in the first month of use! We are very excited for the coming months and years.

The best!

There are so many options when choosing solar companies, and Ameco Solar is the best option by far! Not only were the prices, of the quality of products as well as the warranty, but the customer service is second to none. I did not say, we did not have any hiccups along the way, but the way they handled those and finished to our satisfaction is overwhelming. Their communication is the best. We are very happy with their work and service!

Professional!

Excellent service! I was not disappointed with the professionalism and quality of work. They were on point and always communicating while in the process of completing all the materials. The project was done within the schedule and the workers worked cleanly. You should hire them.

100% recommended

We just concluded our home solar installation with and I cannot praise the team highly enough. It was a smooth process! I would say, the easiest I have encountered in a major purchase. Their super friendly and super accommodating sales rep was a huge plus! There were no surprises along the road, no pressure, and just a 100% personable approach and at the same time great professionalism. Given the high quality of service and system evaluation, it is apparent that their product and service sell themselves. Use them and you'll see what I mean.

Excellent service and great installer

After working with different solar installers and getting different estimates, we decided to work with Ameco. The price we got and the service we received were excellent. The installer, Joaquin, was careful and worked with us to ensure that the install looked the way we wanted. We really liked him and his crew and would highly recommend him. The staff, especially Yazmina, was really responsive whenever we had questions. I would strongly recommend Ameco.

Great service!

I got quotes and chatted with about 8-9 different companies before I decided to go with Ameco. Their communication is excellent, the company has been around for much more than the 10 years I was looking for, and a great 40-year roofing warranty (I hope they last at least that long!). I only had it installed this week, so cannot comment yet on their long-term qualities, but their competence and knowledge is reassuring. Thank you to Kelly, Yazmina, and Erick, and of course, the solar installation crew. I particularly appreciated how Kelly didn't just tell me what to get, but asked questions and gave her insight on the various options we could go with. Very different from the others. My HOA requires painting of the pipes to match the walls, and I had neglected to buy the paint beforehand. I appreciate that they gave me a head's up on what was needed, so I had time to buy it. I hope to be able to enjoy the sun's power for many years to come!

Excellent Customer Serivce

Ameco did a great job on our recent solar installation project even with the current operational challenges created by COVID-19. Our projected was completed on time even with the year end surge in installations due to customers seeking to take advantage of the tax credit. Our electrical system had to be completely swapped out which required our exterior walls to be torn up, but this was all taken care by Ameco with ease. In addition, the customer service representative was very friendly and helpful in addressing any questions of ours that arose throughout the project.

Easy company to work with Fast Installation

We had a excellent experience using Ameco and would highly recommend. Quick and easy installation. No issues to date. Very happy with the experience.

Quality, Friendly, and COVID Safe Service!

***I also posted this review on Yelp. Thank you again to the staff!*** I have to start by saying WOW. I don't know why I didn't have a solar system installed in my home years ago; my electric bill is almost non-existent now. I don't cringe at the sight of the LADWP bill anymore and I must say, it is all thanks to the team over at AMECO. I have a background in Electrical Engineering so to say that I was an easy customer to deal with would be a severe understatement. I must have drove their lovely project manager, Yazmina, absolutely insane with the amount of times I called ha! However, no matter how many questions or concerns I brought them throughout the entire process, they were always there to help immediately, or as soon as they had the information I wanted to hear. All in all, I'd say AMECO is definitely the company to speak to if you're looking into a solar system for your home.

Exceptional

Exceptional service. Really enjoyed my solar experience with AMECO. They did my previous house 9 years ago and they were awesome once again. My new house had very complex roof angles which they accommodated easily. Other providers could do it. Highly recommend them to everyone. They are currently doing my in laws house.

Great Experience

Working with Ameco was a great overall experience. Starting with their sales team, and all the way through installation and support, I've been very pleased with my choice to use Ameco. Thomas was fantastic on the sales side, and patiently answered all of my questions (sometimes over and over again) for a couple of months while we weighed our solar options. Installation was scheduled quickly, and happened as planned. The install crew was courteous and left the space around the house clean at the end of each work day. The support team has been great in helping us understand how to analyze our solar production and in answering questions as they arise. The products and pricing we were offered were pretty similar across all of the companies we requested quotes from, but Ameco won us over with their stellar staff and customer service.

New management is AMAZING!

I called, looking for a solar system for my mom’s house, to make it easier on her with her electric bill. She likes running her AC all day! They got me a great deal! I will get my tax credit and my mom is so happy! It literally zeroed out her bill! Ha! I understand it’s a new management, and so let me tell you..The new management really cares about the customers, they explained everything and made sure my mom was comfortable with the installation crew and all the the professionals that came to the house. Love love love! Congrats Idan, Thomas and the rest of the guys! I’m forever grateful!!

Solar installation. Great experience.

Me and my wife used ameco earlier this year to install solar on our home in Long Beach. So far, the savings have shown to be well worth it. The folks there are very honest and professional.

solar panel install

John Allen a no BS but not pushy salesman, just knowledgeable and honest. Every aspect from install to final approval seamless.

Residential Review

Ameco Solar installed solar panels for me at my South Bay residence. The team were very knowledgeable and professional throughout the proposal and implementation phase. I appreciated their guiding me through the details of the process with my ultimate vision of using solar panels to accommodate the transition to an electric vehicle. Everything is working like a charm as anticipated.
