mr
We put in an 11Kw Sun Solar System last summer. Their installers did a fantastic job. I did not compare Sun Solar to other companies. Maybe my bad. We installed a solar system that was supposed to put out 1 1/2 times the electricity we had used in our highest previous years consumption. After 1 year our True-Up was over $3000. When I asked what happened, they said we used to much electricity. I have been asking for help from AM Sun Solar to try and help figure out why. They are not interested to help us understand why this happened, and they say their electrical contractors also have no skills to help us resolve why. Would I recommend them to anyone else in our area? Sorry NO!!
Response from AM Sun Solar & Roofing
Dear Sid, We’re so sorry to hear that your experience with us has become negative. We work hard to do the best for all our clients. It can be challenging to correctly estimate each client's future energy usage prior to installing and that is why we work with our clients to size the right solar solution. We’re proud to have many happy customers during our 20 years in business on the Central Coast. Sincerely, The A.M. Sun Solar & Roofing Team

fine, until it isn't
AM Sun Solar installed our residential system in SLO. They said that the design/permit process would take up to 4 months, and they got it done near the end of the 5th month. One of our panels partially died on the 3rd day. Never have I had a company do so little, so slowly, to remedy an installation situation. Three months later and AM Sun Solar says that they are at the mercy of manufacturer to approve and ship a new panel. The company should have taken ownership, bought and installed a new panel, and dealt with the warranty/refund issue on their own. I shudder to think what warranty service might be like later.
Response from AM Sun Solar & Roofing
Hello, We apologize for the delay in replacing your panel. Our 25-year Workmanship Warranty is designed to provide coverage against any damage or maintenance issues that arise during installation and beyond. Unfortunately, it can be challenging to get needed equipment delivered to our offices in a timely manner. Please contact us at (805) 772-6786 or email hello@amsunsolar.com for further assistance. Sincerely, The A.M. Sun Solar Team
