Altadena Energy & Solar

It's important to support local businesses, especially Altadena businesses. In this case, we contacted Hans and Joy with Altadena Solar re a consultation for a PV system w/battery backup. While not the least expensive option, we found the proposal to be thoughtful and thorough. Installation took two days, and was peerless. Now that it's been operating for 3 months, we are delighted with the performance. We also received newer model panels than were spec'd at no extra cost to the project. Highly recommended.

We are completely satisfied with the Altadena Energy and Solar company! The quality of work is exceptional and the installation of the system was done in 2 days! Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful experience with Hans, Joy, Anita and Amir. They work quickly, get back to me promptly and best of all, now my solar system produces enough electricity for me to have a credit on my OTHER utilities. They are very ethical and kind as well.

I had the pleasure to have an upgrade in my solar system, including integration of my existing solar system with additional solar panels and batteries. The experience was exceptional. The team was very knowledgeable, professional, very cordial, and very responsive to my questions and concerns in the integration of the 2 solar systems. They worked extra hard to complete all work before the end of 2025, resulting in qualifying for the government rebate. They provided a folder with all the data of the batteries, micro inverters, permits, payment schedule (very helpful in obtaining the federal rebate), etc. My solar system is working excellently and I would strongly recommend Altadena Energy & Solar for any and all solar issues.

What stood out to me most was their transparency during the consultation phase. They provided a clear breakdown of costs, expected savings, and maintenance requirements. There were no hidden surprises later on. Installation was completed smoothly, and the crew kept the area clean. There was a slight delay in setting up the monitoring system, but their support team resolved it quickly. Now I can track energy production daily, which is quite helpful. After a few billing cycles, I can already see lower electricity costs compared to before.
