Affordable Solar

Easy Process

Rob Davis did an outstanding and professional job of presenting the facts of solar to us. We had told him we were probably not ready to install solar and only wanted an estimate but my husband was convinced that we should do it now by the end of Rob's presentation. Everything went very smoothly, with Affordable handling all permits and other details. Our coordinator, Kelsey was on top of all the scheduling. Even the loan process with Nusenda was painless.

Solar panel installation

This is the third time we've worked with Affordable, and we've been very happy with the outcome each time!

No Response from Project Manager

This is the second time I've used Affordable Solar, with all the increases from PNM, I decided to add to my system. My salesman Justin was the best, he called me/emailed me all the time and even got me set up w/financing. The three (3) gentleman who installed my system were so nice and professional. When I left and came back they were gone and it was as though they were never there. My project manager Kelsey M. on the other hand was awful, when I tried calling her one day her mailbox was full, so I reached out to Justin and he called me back right away and between the two of us figured out what was going on with PNM. I never spoke to Kelsey on the phone, it was all via email. When I would get emails from PNM she would not follow-up with me, I would always have to reach out to her. I had to reach out to PNM numerous times trying to get my new REC meter installed and my system working with no help from Ms. M. I'm not sure if she's not a people person or figures once the job is done her responsibility to the customer is done. I would recommend Affordable Solar, but make sure when you're notified who you project manager is, you ask for a change if it's Kelsey M. Be sure and ask for Justin D as your salesperson.

Placitas solar

You have to do all you say you will do and do it in a professional workmanship manner to get my recommendation. This is what I found that has impressed me the most with affordable solar (AS). I did hours of research before deciding that AS was the company I wanted to install my solar panels. I was sold because of their product, warrantee, service and the feedback from customers they had serviced. At the very beginning after signing the contract we were kept informed of the entire process from start to finish. (AS handles all the paperwork for you) I have the highest praise for AS service, cleanliness of operation and timeliness. I do not hesitate to recommend their service to anyone in need of professional solar installation/service.

Outstanding Company

I didn't fully appreciate Affordable Solar until after my system was up and running. Once I saw that it was producing electricity and I was able to analyze its performance with my cell phone, I was completely blown away. Everything was functioning just as Crystal (sales rep) had promised. But it wasn't until after I was able to compare notes with a few friends who had also installed solar on their homes, that I realized I had used the leading company in the entire country. I had zero surprises from beginning to end on my project and I can enthusiastically recommend this company to anyone who might be looking into getting a system for their home.

professionalism

the crew was very polite not only to me as the owner but to each of their fellow workers. Really impressed by their professionalism.

My system

From the time Affordable Solar began construction until PNM installed the new meter and threw the switch a mere 2 months passed.

Affordable solar review

Affordable solar was great to deal with. The system is out performing their guarantee performance. The installation was completed ahead of schedule by a very professional crew. I highly recommend Affordable Solar.

Great company to work with.

Rob Davis and the team at Affordable stood out from the other two companies we looked at for our solar system. The installation team was nothing short of amazing. They installed and tested our system in less than a day. While there were bumps in the road with approvals and inspections the end result is fantastic. My power bill last month which was extremely hot was $89 with on 21 days of solar power being generated. My first full month bill will be a great indication of what we can expect. Thank you Affordable.

Top Solar company in Albuquerque

Deciding to add solar to our home started with having 3 companies come visit. It was quiet remarkable how varied each company's sales person presented their product. At the low end we barely received enough information to even make an uninformed decision. At the top in Rob Davis from Affordable Solar was the most professional with the greatest amount of information. As an automation engineer I tend to research everything to death before I make a decision. Each time I asked Rob for another technical document he sent it and then some. The middle of the 3 companies held in there for awhile but eventually faded next to Affordable Solar. At that point we signed a contract with Affordable Solar. Yes there were bumps in the process of getting approvals and inspections. Installation wise the Affordable team is outstanding. They installed 32 panels in one day. We really enjoyed having them at our home. Once installed it took almost a month to get inspections and approvals. We've been on line now for 46 days. I have yet to stop watching the PNM power meter turn backwards as the panels produce more than we are consuming. For our first 46 days the panels are producing more than Affordable Solar guaranteed us. To say we are happy is a complete understatement. Rob Davis and the Affordable Solar team are a true cut above their competition.

Very efficient and professional.

Review

This company is outstanding, everything they promise they delivered on time or early. Could not be more pleased.

Great company to work with!

Michelle and the rest of the crew at Affordable Solar were great. Super easy start to finish. Got the installation done in just a few hours!

Great Company!

Affordable Solar was awesome to work with from the beginning of the process to the very end. They were professional and courteous at every step of the way, from the estimate, to installation, to the final close out meeting. We definitely recommend them if you are looking for solar power for your home.

Great Job

After receiving 3 quotes from separate companies we decided to go with Affordable Solar based on several reasons. The expertise and ability to answer the many questions we had at the initial consultation fully and in a manner we could understand. The quote was prepared very well and compared to the other 2 companies we were quoted on it was clear the solution offered by Affordable Solar was superior. There was very good communication from Affordable at all stages of the project and every member of staff we came in to contact with from the installers to the electrician were courteous, left the job site in great condition and were rally easy to work with. We are very happy with the system and would choose Affordable Solar again. We have no hesitation in recommending Affordable Solar to anyone contemplating having Solar installed. Yes to affordable solar

We decided to go with solar and looked at the 3 or 4 top rated solar companies in our area. After meeting with each of them we decided to go with Michelle Davis of affordable solar over the competition and boy were we pleased with the final result. The process as a whole took slightly longer than we would've hoped due to PNM needing additional screening before approving our project but affordable solar did a great job of keeping us informed during the whole procrss and keeping the project on track. We love the myenlighten monitoring system and would recommend solar to anyone.

Affordable Solar

We've just had our panels installed this summer, and we're already pretty happy! I had an idea that we would be happy with the company, considering a lot of our neighbors AND family suggested using Affordable Solar. I'm glad we took their advice! There were two individuals in particular that were super helpful: Justin Dewey and Alex Kyriakos. Of course the crew, installers, and inspectors were great also. Thank you, Affordable Solar, for helping our family become more environmentally aware and proactive.

Flawless sales, service and installation

We have had our system now for almost two years. I had researched all I could find about solar panels, Inverters and types of installation hardware. I contacted three solar company's and received three bids. One company used panels that were a mid range and had only fair reviews. Company #2 wanted to sell me what they insisted I needed. When I told then what I wanted, not what they wanted they refused to bid. #3 was Affordable Solar and they worked with us and offered all the products we were looking for. They handled all the permitting, all the tax credit paperwork and the installation was smooth and painless. Just to note we opted for a system that would supply 100% of our needs. It never fails to deliver 100% twelve months a year. I highly recommend Affordable Solar

Exceptional from Day 1!

We interviewed CST and Affordable Solar prior to making our choice. Affordable was head-and-shoulders above. It started with Crystal. She was prompt, professional, and she really sought to understand our needs and preferences before attempting to woo us with solar technology. All of our install went seamlessly. We had slight damage to stucco. Affordable immediately arranged for a sub-contractor to remedy it--good as new! We were very impressed with their follow up and follow through. They did everything they promised, hassle-free, and with a smile. We highly recommend Affordable Solar! CH Albuquerque, NM

WE LOVE AFFORDABLE SOLAR!!!

THIS IS THE SECOND TIME WE HAVE USED AFFORDABLE SOLAR AND BOTH INSTALLATIONS WERE GREAT!

The Barboa's

We are extremely happy with our new solar system installed by Affordable Solar. Crystal Felice was our go to person from the beginning to the end of our project. Her outstanding workmanship was exceptional! She always took care of all our questions and always was on top of everything. We have recommended her to our friends and family and they are happy too! We love not getting a bill from PNM and are delighted to get money from them instead!!! Alright this is the way to go!!

Affordable Solar

This company did a great job! Clean, neat, efficient, professional. Now the electric company sends ME $$ - that's the right direction! Jump in and do it! I highly recommend this company and the Sales person Crystal Felice!! (505) 263-2687

Fantastic Experience

Crystal Felice reviewed my usage and sold me on my system during our first conversation. She conveyed the knowledge, and compassion lacking in many sales people. Had the system not been good for me I totally believe she would have not sold me. Her honesty is so refreshing. Everything was completed as stated and the only wait time was for the City inspection. The installation crew were terrific and the work went smoothly. Congratulations Affordable Solar for your dedication to the public and having the best representatives working for you.

Well, I'm happy

Thanks to Crystal and the rest of the Affordable Solar team, my experience as a customer was nothing but positive. The installation went smoothly and after 6 months, it is working smoothly. I love the Enphase digital tracking system and I just got my first check from the electric company (they only cut a check when the amount reaches as certain amount.)

Great Company to work with

My experience with Affordable Solar was not in sales or installation but as a home owner who purchased a home with existing solar panels. I was having the roof replaced and had to work with the company to remove and replace upon completion of the new roof. The company went out of its way to work with my roofing company to work this out. Everyone I worked with in the company from the office to the crew were professional and informative. I would highly recommend this company.
